it wasn't that she couldn't , or that she thought it to be demeaning or powerless. it was that , she did not have the time to , nor the interest. for her , it was not a waste of time - but rather , she harboured an aversion to affection. she had never really thought about the concept of emotion , never interpreted love - which was why she was never attracted. through her years at hogwarts ,  she did date quite a few people - but it never lasted on her part.

          she did not know how it changed when she crossed paths with her old friend again.

 evanna craved power , independence and glory - but now , along with that , she craved a certain boy with stardust hair too. and she would go to any means to keep him safe.
