DURING THE PAST couple of weeks, i've been super exhausted. between the skims photoshoot, writing new songs for my new album, planning my outfit for the met gala, and recording, i've been super busy.

on top of all of that, i've been trying to hang out with friends as well. i've been surviving with energy drinks.

i was currently on my way home, talking to milo on the phone. our friendship has definitely changed.

we're way more flirty and touchy with each other now.

"i'm just worried about you burning yourself out, chels." he spoke softly.

i sigh knowing he was right. "i know, there's so much i have to do still." i groan softly.

he was silent for a moment, clearly thinking about something.

"you know what we should do? we should go on a getaway vacation." he suggested.

i just laugh softly, not taking his suggestion on a vacation seriously.

"i'm serious, chelsea." he was laughing lightly as well.

"for your birthday we can go somewhere. just the two of us." he spoke clearly.

"only if you want to though. i just think you deserve to get away." he spoke.

i sighed softly as i think about it. it would be nice to get away and not have to worry about anything.

i wouldn't know where i would want to go but it didn't sound like a horrible idea.

"let me think about it, okay?" i ask, not fully agreeing to go or denying to go.

"alright, chelsea. no pressure. just let me know whenever you figure something out." i nodded my head even though he couldn't see it.

"yeah, of course milo." i continued driving through traffic as we talked.

the more time let on, the more i thought about how nice it would be to get away.

maybe it wouldn't be a bad thing.
