I HAD FINISHED setting everything up whenever i hear joey and corey walk in. "parties here!" joey yelled throughout the house.

i just laughed softly as i watched the two walk in with a bunch of alcohol. "did you two rob the store?" i tease them.

corey just flips me off as they sit the alcohol on the counter. "we figured we could get extra just to be safe. plus we know you're upset about the breakup news spreading." corey explained.

i just sighed as i walk over to them and nod my head. "how're you doing?" joey asked with a frown as she wrapped her arms around me.

"I'll be fine. i'm just glad for this distraction." i shrugged. joey pulled back for a moment and nodded like she understood.

"don't worry, we'll make sure to not watch anything with the rat boy in it."

eventually, ava and jenna came over with the food and we all got comfortable in the movie room i have.

for some reason, the movie we chose to watch first was one called journey to bethlehem. "we're the wrong people to be watching this." joey laughed as we watched.

i smile knowingly when i recognize milo manheim playing joseph.

i just shake my head as i laugh a little. i will admit to myself that he's attractive. but i don't think i want to start anything knowing i was just cheated on.
