The Hero's Myth

Night breeze brushed his cheeks , as his white hair danced around his shoulders , sparks of lightning with flames could be noticed tracing his body from time to time. He took a long breath and opened his eyes , dead locked on the ugly goliath like creature that Viteau mixed himself with.

Viteau's skin was dark grey like an undead , as veins popped up under his skin. He was standing at the giant head of the creature while his legs were infused with the monster to control it. Whatever Viteau has done, he had succeeded . Summoning a creature from the dark abyss , So ugly and so powerful , bell could feel that without Eklektos running he wouldn't stand a chance against that thing . However he had to take down , otherwise , Orario wont last , no one is ready for such a fate , not yet.

He shifted his gaze toward the tower of Babel , some cracks can already be noticed at its base from the aftermath of the constant fight and Viteau climbing It.

Those who weren't terrified , weren't in good shape for such a battle and Orario wasn't the best battlefield for such an opponent.

Having made his decision , he needed to drag this creature away , at least at the far end of Orario wall, however Viteau didn't give him much time as a huge purple beam cut through the sky , leaving a giant hole in the clouds.

Realising he missed his target , the creature Roared loudly , creating a shockwave around him that threw everyone near it away .

" this is bad " Bell grimace at the sheer amount of power this goliath like exerted

" You know we don't have much of time bell " fae worried voice didn't help much , as she was already past exhausted from just healing bell and keeping his body from being knocked out.

" Bell cranel , I am glad you are still alive , what can we do to help you out " Fels voice from a nearby building roof brought bells attention back to him. His Orange glowing eyes shifted towards fels for a moment before focusing back on dodging the purple flames Viteau sent at him .

"Fels san ,can you teleport us , both of us , away from the city ,just as far as you can from any living person " Bell shouted as he brought his sword out pushing forward flying , while cutting the spikes on the goliath arm, its skin was sturdy and fire resistant , so he could only leave small scars on it

" FUTILE! I LL DIVOUR YOU!" the Goliath shouted in an alien loud voice as it started pushing bell back

" Hurry up !Fels " Bell shouted as he swiftly dodged away one attack after the other. His sword blurred in front of him as a several giant spikes were thrown at him , only to be turn to pieces

"Huff , Huff , Huff" he staggered to get some air while being pushed from almost all sides by the goliath .

The other adventurers who attempted any attacks were thrown by several thorns around the monster feet.

Fels realizing it was the only option ¸held his hands out

" Fels san , well cover you !" Lilly's voice came from behind assuring , they don't know what the situation was , however they needed to at least do something .

Ryu jumped in the air having charged her gale blades to draw the attention of the monster for a moment. It was only for a moment but she could spot the boy with the fire wings in the air.

Now from this distance , he looked familiar to her , her heart beat increased as if her heart had already recognized him before her mind does and a simple word escaped her lips :" Bell!"

The Gale blades did nothing but turning viteau attention to her gave bell a moment to rest.

" BUG!" Viteau growled as another purple beam tore through the streets of Orario leaving only a trial of destruction behind it

" Ryu san!" that was all she could hear before a sense of warmth enveloped her , like she was bathing under the summer sunlight. Her eyes opened slightly to reveal the face of bell , holding her in a princess carry while flying away.

Her hand made her way to his cheek as a gentle rub made her realize that he was true. His body changed , mostly his once ruby eyes . yet his gentle features were still there . a tear of joy traced her cheek " Bell !you are alive !"Ryu rapped her hands around his neck as her passive expressions were long gone

"yes , but this is not the time for this , you need to stay away " Bell explained

" you can drop me , I can use my wind to slow my fall " Ryu nodded in reply

A giant crest glowed around fels as his spell almost finished

"Bell cranel ! I am ready ! " He shouted

" Bell ?! " almost everyone shouted in unison

But Ryu jumped in cutting everyone back ¸"Mikoto san , use your gravity magic now ! we need to buy bell every second we can !"

Mikoto hurried to start her spell while focusing on the goliath up ahead , the fight had long since broke the whole area around the tower of babel , Loki familia members doing their best blocking and countering the attacks from the goliath reached their limits since they were fighting for all night.

"......Descend from heaven, rule the earth - shinbu tousei!" as Mikoto shouted the giant gravity spell activated , falling like a huge cage on both bell and the goliath , it held them In position just for couple of seconds , but that was all what fels needed to activated his teleportation spell as a giant light surrounded them before disappearing and reappearing far in the horizon
