Floor 71 , Bell gasped as he tried to take the view in front of him.Vast frozen lands, extended into the horizon, with one look it was obviously many times the size of Orario . Mountains covered in bright glistering snow and for the first time He couldn't believe there was clouds hovering So high.

" Oh , now I see why they said it was cold " Faenur spoke as she started realizing something

" how can be clouds inside the dungeon ?" Bell wondered loudly . " just like the previous floor , if you unleash enough magic into it , you can change the area with the right knowledge , don't underestimate the power of gods Bell" she replied

Bell with his first steps into the snow field, Faenur shouted and stopped him in his tracks " wait !stop! step back now "she shouted and with quick reaction to her voice he jumped back towards the entrance of the tunnel again , he was puzzled about what was wrong.

" use your fire magic on the snow bell " Faenur asked. " also I forgot to tell you since you never let me finish my explanation, you can call upon fire more easily now ,without even incantation , try it , just think about how you were able to unleash the fire before " she instructed him step by step

Bell put one knee on the ground and put his hand out towards the snow which was limited just at the exist of the tunnel ,he closed his eyes and started thinking about his swift fire magic,( fire bolt!) he thought in his mind .

Bell felt a burning sensation engulfing his whole body as a comfortable power made him feel warm ,it rushed all the way from his sternum to his hand .

The phoenix spirit watched from the white space she was in as bell was calling upon some of her powers , he made it so quick and easy that she thought he has done this many times before ( Talent is really scary huh ) she thought

A bright flame erupted from bell's hand , however it didn't stop at that , it grow bigger and bigger until it was the size of the tunnel exist , bell finally opened his eyes wide at how much his magic grew compared to what it used to be, He barely felt like he used any mana !

" This " astonished by what he could do , he let loose to the fire ball , it flew so fast compared to its size however it dissipated into the air so quick that he couldn't even understood what happened

" As I thought" the phoenix spoke again

" what was that about ?" bell asked , he also had many questions now , about how his magic became stronger he was sure that fire ball would damage any boss in the upper floors however it dissipated in the air like it didn't exist

" this area, it absorbs any type of mana and turn it into snow ,look the path your flame ball left , there is a thicker snow area now than before , even if you didn't use your magic , the snow on ground will start absorbing the mana from your body slowly , you must be cautious now , we don't know what monsters are waiting ahead ,"Faenur explained , this area would be a real challenge to even her if she had some of her strength back .

" I see ,how did my fire ball became that big ?" bell asked again

" oh that, like I said ,you lost your connection with your god , however I made sure when I established the contract between us to make use of that , you can keep advancing levels by adventuring , yet it wont be that easy like a god blessing .Also with that ability written on your back , your body took a heavy effect from it." It was too much information for bell , the phoenix waited for him for a while to take everything in.

" that ability , what is it exactly ?" bell asked

" a blood inheritance we used to call it , there are many types of it ,albeit this was my first time seeing one with this backlash , it get passed through specific families and not from the gods blessing , what I could understand from it , is that it gives you an attack 2 levels stronger than yours when you are in a dire situation , however it comes at the cost of your life span , I fixed that last part. at least until you grow strong enough " Faenur explained

" I see" bell was silent for a long time then he spoke again ;" thank you very much Fae-san , I don't know how I can repay your kindness " with a serious tone

"you don..." she was going to reply but a deep roar echoed through the mountain . many shadows swiftly launched in the air from the mountain peek , for the first time bell was able to see the first inhabitants of this floor and he didn't like what he was looking at. It made his blood frozen just from looking at them hovering in the sky.
