Reminiscence "2"

During the days Bell spent recuperating , he spent his time talking with the phoenix spirit , he learned many things from her about why she was In the dungeon and where exactly they were , after the 2 nd day , bell was able to move  his body , he started descovering his surroundings , He  found out that the temple was quite vast , there was a fountain with crystal clear water at   one of the halls , A dome  with an open circle at the center letting the light enter .To his notice the  light outside had an orange hue .the phoenix informed him that  they were at the starting point of the real dungeon .Not understanding what that meant , he asked more about it ,but she told him she doesn't really remember much of it nor how much time she spent here . all she  knew   was floor 70 that she spent most of time in and that she was left here by some god that left a mechanism that kept spreading  her power into the floor . That was the last time she managed to see that person as he disappeared deeper into the dungeon . in her human form she kept watching the  floor as her power  slowly dissipated into the dungeon changing the topography of the area to a volcanic area with lava rivers everywhere.

After an unknown amount of time she spotted some humans arriving , most of them  were in severe state or injured after arriving . The atmosphere in the floor with high temperature didn't help much to there condition and ended up dead   not long after that. However there was a group who managed to reach her temple with barley any injuries , she could sense they were strong , one of them even made her feel afraid as he had a power that reminded of her of arcanum , the power of gods. The group however was an awkward one , they kept arguing with each other , yet she knew they had strong bond. A certain grey hair woman left a strong impression on her as she walked into the phoenix temple , she had an elegant aura around her , as the mana around her was bowing to her.

The group first impression after meeting the phoenix was excitement , they really enjoyed adventuring and new encounters. It was not their first time meeting a spirit , because one of them was married to one , delighted to these people , the phoenix opened their heart to them , and shared her story . they wanted to help freeing her out , but she refused. She kept believing the last words of that god , " you ll know it yourself when the one destined to free you comes"

The adventurer group , were disappointed to hear that so they decided that they would leave a gift for anyone who manages to achieve this floor. They left some strong enchanted armors , and many other weapons and tools.

Time passed and the phoenix never saw that group again , no one came again from that giant door , for the first time in her life she felt what loneliness was .

One day however she was waken up by a feeling , a shout of someone far away , she expended her senses to the upper floors ,  there she felt something , a familiar person ,a spirit similar to her albeit weaker and another person , she felt that she knew him long time ago , but she couldn't put her feelings to words , like there was a bound calling for her , she kept observing as the adventurer pushed himself in a life or death fight , yet she couldn't believe what he did next. Where he could run away with his life , he chose to risk everything for that weak spirit. She finally understood the old words of that god , a voice deeper in her heart was telling her that this was the one who will free her , she grasped most of the power left in her body and sent it out , a huge flame phoenix spread her wings with a loud screech and rushed upward tearing through everything it passed by until it reached the young adventurer. Her conjured phoenix quickly picked him up with her flame talons and returned back before running out of power .She stared at injured boy who was breathing his last , luckily her flames weren't just for burning things , she spread her delicate hands one on his head while the other on his abdomen , white flames erupted and spread around his body , a sigh of relieve escaped the kid's mouth as almost his soul was returned to his body.

Now that he was out of danger she tried to grasp the bond that attracted her towards, following her instincts she closed her eyes and gathered her power like she always did ,suddenly she found herself in a weird place , a wide white space expanding everywhere ,despite the weird unknown location , she felt comfortable in it as if it was welcoming her and her powers that she kept ignoring as it dissipated into the dungeon started returning back , like a dry plant welcoming the rain. A refreshing feeling spread through her. The phoenix let loose of herself as she made her contract with the human and rejoiced her freedom
