A duel "3"

In the back yard of a certain big mansion in Orario , a huge crowd of adventurers gathered. Tonight, despite the amount of people here , the atmosphere was deadly  silent. Only the sound of fire in the torches cracking.

Everyone fixed their eyse on the platform ahead of them , their diety was confirming the last checks before the duel starts , as she jumps back and shouts

" Start!" both parties of the duel rushed forward swiftly. It was hard for level 1 and level 2 adventurers to observe the movements of the level 5 adventurers and above .despite that , seeing afterimages and blurs from time to time as Ryu and Aiz locked swords made them excited.

Ryu pushed forward with her feet  , the autumn wind pushed her hair backward , she kept her hand on her sword until the very last moment , Her quickdraw skill was the best starting attack. She already fought against Aiz before , it was just a stalling fight , alas Ryu understood the gap in stats and talent between the two , so she was relying now on experience. On the other side Aiz never stopped observing Ryu movements as they locked swords in their first exchange , Aiz elegantly circled around while using the momentum of Ryu attack to counter her. However things weren't that easy As her sword caught only air .

Aiz was surprised:" Fast!" she hurried raised her speed too , to match Ryu's speed as she felt another attack coming from her right side. Aiz turned her body swiftly and locked the wooden sword few centimeters away from her armor.

Ryu spoke :" you got stronger "

Aiz replied while keeping her gaze on any surprise attack :" same to you "

Ryu jumped back to make some distance between the two. Meanwhile everyone watching were curious about the identity of the elf that was giving their princess a hard time

Loki watched the fight with serious face ( hmmm ,)

Soon , both Aiz and Ryu disappeared again , only the sound of metal clashing and flashes .

Tiona whistled :" she is good "

Soon they started hearing a soft voice in the midst of the battle.

Lefiya shouted :" she ,... she can concurrent chanting in the middle of a fight like this !"

Ryu was chanting her new developed skill Luminous gale , as she dodged Aiz attacks narrowly , few orbs started glowing around her body .On the same time she was charging her wind blades.

Ryu( this is it I ll finish this fight now )

Aiz body was already covered with wind , Ariel , her favorite ability that increases her speed awhile wind covers her body. She thrusted and swung her sword while keeping her eyes locked on Ryu , as she nearly hit her body , the elf always dodges or deflects somehow , Aiz kept wondering at this moment ( why is this elf trying to beat me this hard , despite the difference in our level and Stats ? ) at that moment she felt the wind around her become disturbed as light orbds started glowing around the elf , she braced herself for the attack and started charging her wind attack too , but for some reason , her mind had tingling sensation , for a moment a flash occurred in front of her , as the vision of Ryu covered in light orbs was replaced with the vision of a certain white haired boy with his body glowing white.

Aiz hesitated :" B..ell?"

That moment was All Ryu needed , she threw her orbs directly at Aiz , but she jumped backwards .Yet Ryu wasn't done , Her wind blades were already charged , blades cut through the smoke directly into Aiz direction who had lost her balance .

Lefiya screamed :" Aiz san!"

Aiz finally managed to get her balance back to deflect some of the wind blades , yet one of them was already in point blank and knocked her back few steps.

*Flash*

And everyone went silence from shock.

Ryu's sword was locked on Aiz neck from the side just barely millimeters away :" this is my victory sword princess "

Aiz had her head down , her hair covering her expressions . She lost that easily.

Ryu returned the sword back ." however I cant accept a victory like this , while your mind was totally out of the duel " as she walked away . " through this duel , I wanted to check whether you were really worth him sacrificing his life . For now , I am disappointed" Aiz body shivered for a moment from those words.

as Ryu arrived to the edge of the platform ,She gave Aiz one final glance, " what does it means to be an adventurer sword princess ?"

And with that she left , despite Aiz obviously not using all her strength , She lost the duel.
