Death Eaters

(Harry's POV)

About ten death eaters bust down the door. I immediately cover Ginny because she's pregnant, and I can't let anything happen to her, if she died, I would die. I then put a protective shield around Teddy, because he obviously can't defend himself, and Arthur sends a patronus to Kingsley, so that he can come and bring a few Aurors. After putting a shield around Teddy and telling Ginny to stay with me no matter what, I start dueling. I nearly got hit with a Cruciatus curse a few times and after a while 10 more death eaters came. This time I was so lucky. I got hit with a Cruciatus curse straight in my chest- where I got hit with the killing curse about a year ago- and I collapsed onto the ground in pain. After it was over I immediately got up, despite still being sore, and I continued to duel. Ginny tried to tell me to stop protecting her an that she can defend herself, but after a few false tries she gave up. I kept stunning, and body binding death eaters until Kingsley and the Aurors came and they started fighting too.

Finally all the death eaters were either full body binded, or restrained in some way at least, and the duel was over. Surprisingly the house wasn't that bad, just a few overturned lamps or such. Then I checked on Ginny, she was fine just I think she was a little mad at me, but I didn't care. I needed to keep her safe. Teddy was okay, just crying so I lifted his shield charm and I saw everyone in the room, fine with just a few cuts and scratches, but then I saw something I didn't want to see. Especially not today.

Andromeda is dead.

(Ginny's POV)

Harry seems calm, but after a few minutes I can tell something is wrong. I look where he's looking and I understand what's wrong.

Andromeda is dead.

I look up at Harry and try to tell him that it will be okay and we're ready, and that she's in a better place now, but he doesn't seem to hear me. I hope he isn't over thinking anything because he does that too often. To attempt to interrupt his thoughts I kiss him. After a few seconds he realizes what I'm doing and kisses me back.

Even though a horrible thing just happened, we have each other, and we'll get through it together.
