23 - When You Hurt Someone Unintentionally

As we eat, Jungwoo raises the question. "How did Chan hyung and Sooyun get into a fight?"

 Felix's POV

"Well.. I really don't know myself." I tell him. 

??- "Yah guys!!" 

We turn around to see Sooyun, Mark and YangYang with a crossed look on their faces. "You guys totally ghosted us!" YangYang whines. "Ya! No fair!" Mark adds. "Welp that's what's gonna happen if you keep on blabbering in English like that you know." Minhee yells. I have no idea what's going on.

"What are you guys talking about?" "Oh nothing Lix. These 3 were talking in English with us not understanding a thing so we just left them." Haechan replies. 

SY- We just tend to get,

YY, MK- Engrossed.

"Now, let us start eating guys, otherwise we won't be able to eat for the next half of the day." YangYang says, putting an end to the discussion for the day. "Two steps ahead of you bruh.." Minhee says, showing her empty lunchbox. This girl seriously. 

We were all eating lunch and talking to each other, that is when Chan hyung enters along with his gang. He is like the most popular guy in his grade and has many girls crushing on him. The catch?

Girl- Oh hi handsome...

Chan- Umm.. me? Sorry but I am not Handsome. Seems like a peculiar name, Handsome. But my name is Chan. Nice to meet you.

Girl- *kinda weirded out* Well, Chan, mind giving me your number?

Chan- My number? Do I look that fun to talk with? I am sorry but you will get bored within 10 minutes of talking with me. 

Girl- *fully weirded out* Umm... okayyy... byee, I guess..

Chan- Bye! See you around!

He is completely unaware. Like seriously, what the hell is wrong with him? That explains why he has had no girlfriends till date. He did go on a date once, that is a playdate with the 3 year old girl who used to lived next door back in Sydney. That is when he was 10.  I know right? Sooyun was looking at her food the whole time. Chan hyung didn't care to look at her either. They seem to hate each other, but what I know is that they will be fine, may it be sooner or later. But looking at the status right now, it is surely gonna be later. ---------------------‐----------------------------------------------3rd Person's POV

"Guys, I will take my leave." Sooyun says, getting up. "This early?" Haechan asks curiously. He was right in asking. There was still 15 minutes left to the next class. "Ya, next class is Chemistry and we have our practicals. So the teacher told me to be there to help her arranging out all the tools and all." "Oh okay then, bye!" As soon as she is out of sight, YangYang says, "We have to do something guys." They all knew what he meant. "Yeah. I don't like them like seeing them fight. It is just weird." Mark says nodding his head in agreement. "I have an idea!" Minhee says. Minhee explains them the whole plan. "Seems fair?" Everyone except Jungwoo- Totally!"What about you Jungwoo?" Minhee asks. "Sorry guys, I won't be able to be part of your plans." "Why?" Haechan asks, slightly amused. Everyone of them knew about Jungwoo crushing on Sooyun and her liking him back, well, except Jungwoo and Sooyun. The two talked merely as friends, but day by day it was becoming obvious that the two were becoming more than just that. So, it was amusing that Jungwoo was not taking part. Surely there might be a valid reason. 

"Well, the driver is on a holiday today, that means I will be leaving with Baekhyun hyung. Either he will leave extra early or super late. So, either ways I won't be able to be part of the plan. Sorry guys." "It is fine Jungwoo, we will manage. Now the first thing we have to do is tell Jihyo unnie and Seungmin about our plan." Minhee says getting up. "Hold up Min, before you do so, you should know they are with Chan hyung." Felix says, pointing to the gang, who were talking amongst themselves. Even some of Jungwoo's friends were there. All of them were in there last year of high school. The group was close knit, and enjoyed talking with each other, played pranks on each other, in one phrase, a jolly high school pack. 

"Ahh, leave it to me peeps. I know what to do." Minhee says confidently. "Okay fine, don't mess things up though." YangYang tells her. "I am not like you dude. I know what I am doing." "Expected." He mumbled under his breath. Everyone knew Minhee can't go without roasting, and they had grown used to it. Minhee rolls her eyes and heads to their table.

Minhee's POV

I reach the table where Seungmin was sitting along with his friends. "Hey guys!" I say, which stops their conversation and turns their attention to me. "Hey Min!" Everyone greets me warmly, well, almost everyone. "What do you want?" my dumb of a brother says scowling at me, as if I had committed a crime. "I want to kick you out of my life so I wouldn't have to see your face ever again. But unfortunately, that isn't possible. I am waiting for the time you would move out." "Me too, at least I wouldn't have to deal with you anymore." He hisses. "Quit it boy. I don't want to embarrass you in front of your friends. But on second thoughts that would be awesome.." Minhee, you had come here to do something, focus. 

"But for now, I wanted to talk to you and Jihyo unnie." I say. "In private?" Jihyo unnie asks. I nod. "I am not wasting my lunchtime for you, Einstein." Seungmin says, looking back at his food. I swear to God, if I didn't need him for this plan, I would have pushed his face into that lunchbox of his. But for now, I saved the anger for later. "I am serious dude. Will you just come?" He simply rolls his eyes and gets up to follow me, along with Jihyo unnie. We go outside the cafeteria where no one could hear us. 

"So guys, I need you to listen closely. I have an idea that can end the fight between Sooyun and Chan. Only thing, is that I need you guys to help..."

Minhee's POV (contd.)

The bell rang, indicating the end of the day. Everyone was gushing out of the classroom, heading home. But I stayed back, waiting for the rest of them. While I was doing so, I received a text:

Jihyo Unnie

I am with Chan right now. 

Me

Good. 👍

Just as I was keeping the phone back I received another text:

Mork~~

Our class ended... I am following her...

Me

Keep me updated on what she is doing...

With that I keep the phone down to find Haechan and Seungmin in front of me, which makes me jump. "Ya you scared me! Anyways, should we put the plan to action?" 

"I am all in!" Haechan says. "Let's do this thang.." Seungmin says. We put our hands together. "3, 2, 1.. FIGHTING!!" 

As discussed Seungmin texts Chan: 

Seungmin

Ya dude, are you still at school?? 

Chan

Yep, why'd you ask???

Seungmin

Please rush.. I fell and I think I sprained an ankle.. 

Chan

OMG!! Where are you??

Seungmin

Bio class... pls come fast.. the pain is increasing..

Chan

Stay there... k? I am comin....

Meanwhile Haechan texted Sooyun,

Haechan

Sooyun-ah, are you still in the school campus??

Sooyun

Yeah, was keeping a few things in the locker... leaving now..

Haechan

Wait hold up!! I got something for you... if you are still there I can give it to you...

Sooyun

For me?? What??

Haechan

I got a special edition copy of that book series you love... 

Sooyun

SPECIAL EDITION OF DORK DIARIES?!! 

Haechan

Yep..

Sooyun

Where are you?! Tell me asap!!! 

Haechan

Bio class, come fast tho, I am leaving in a minute or two..

Sooyun

Kk... Cominnnnggg~~

"Just look at how enthusiastic she gets when it comes to books." Haechan commented, something which is pretty true. Just then I get a text from YangYang. 

Worldwide Idiot 😒💕

I spotted the two.. they are coming from opposite directions...

Me

Good... I am coming...

I smile with satisfaction. Everything is going smoothly. "Now let us go to the Bio class to see what's going on." Seungmin says. We two nod, and head to the class.

Sooyun's POV

OMG! Special edition book, I am coming! 

I head to the bio class, "Haechan...?" I notice that he was not there. 

??- Seungmin you fi--

I turn around to see the one I have been trying to avoid the whole entire day, Chan.

Guessing it was a prank I head to the exit door, that's when I hear the sound of two doors closing. I look up to see Minhee, Haechan, YangYang, Mark and Seungmin oppa, standing there. In the room were me, Jihyo unnie and unfortunately, Chan. I give the ones standing over next to the glass door a 'what was that for' look. "Guys figure it out amongst yourselves. That is enough fighting!" Jihyo unnie says, breaking the silence. "It would've if someone would let their ego down and apologize." 

Okay, he just crossed the line.

SY- Me?! Apologize to you?! You are the one who owes ME an apology!!

CH- Oh please! You are the one who misbehaved yesterday. Remember that I am 2 years older than you you know!! 

SY- Just because you are 2 years older doesn't mean you are right about everything and anything Mr. I Am Always Right!!! 

CH- I AM JUST CONCERNED ABOUT YOU OKAY?!

SY- CONCERNED MY FOOT! IF YOU WERE CONCERNED YOU WOULDN'T TAKE MY SOCIAL LIFE LIKE A PEICE OF PAPER AND TEAR INTO CONCERNED!! YOU ALWAYS HAVE A PROBLEM WITH THE PEOPLE I HANG OUT WITH!!!

CH- AND THAT IS NOT TRUE!! IT IS JUST JUNGWOO!! *covers his mouth immediately* 

SY- OHHH!! NOW YOU HAVE A PROBLEM WITH JUNGWOO?! WHAT DO YOU WANNA HEAR, HUNH?! JUNGWOO IS A TERRIBLE PERSON I HATE HIM AND DON'T WANT HIM IN MY LIFE??!! 

??- Thank you very much Sooyun..

I turn to glass door to find Jungwoo, tears in his eyes. "Jungwoo it is not what you--" But he had already left.
