Chapter 31

Ross pulls out his phone on the way home. I glance at it and see its Laura. I couldn't read what it said but I saw 'your dick' and 'I'm wet'. I felt tears burn in my eyes as he locks his phone. He sexts his co-star. I wipe my tears away before Ross could see. I pull into the driveway and shut off the car. I get out, walking to the house faster than usual. I unlock the door. I walk in and set his keys on the counter. I go to the bathroom, hearing Ross follow me. It must've been about five minutes that I was in there until Ross knocked.

I clean myself up and open the door. "What?" I ask quietly.

"Just making sure you're okay.. you walked in here kinda fast." He says and grabs my hips.

I push him away from me. "I'm fine, I just had to pee." I sigh as i make my way upstairs.

He follows me, looking confused. "Baby, tell me what's wrong." he says sweetly as I pull off my dress. I shake my head as I pull off my leggings, leaving me in my undergarments. He pulls my hips so I'm chest to chest with him. "Why not?" He asks as I push him away.

I slide on fuzzy pajama pants and a long sleeve shirt. "Because I don't want to!" I hiss.

He looks at me, wide eyed. "If it's about what Laura said to me, i swear there's nothing going on. She just keeps sending me texts like that. Here, read the messages." He says and unlocks his phone.

I shake my head. "I believe you," i sigh as I walk to the bathroom attached to the room.

I brush my teeth as Ross strips to his boxers. I walk downstairs and sit on the couch when I finish. Ross comes down, texting away. "My moms bringing donuts over.. you want anything?" He asks as he sits next to me. I shrug and he nods. He texts her back and locks his phone, setting it on his leg.

He moves his hand onto my thigh. I lay my head on his shoulder as tears stream down my face. He lifts his other hand and wipes my tears. He kisses my forehead for a few seconds.

He pulls his lips away and lays his head on top of mine. "I love you, baby." He whispers as his hand travels to my inner thigh.

I tense up. He moves his hand and wraps it around my waist, pulling me closer to him. "I love you, too." I whisper as I wrap my arm around his ribs.

After a few minutes, my eye lids get heavy. I allow them to close. They shoot open as the doorbell rings. "Stay here, babe. I'll get it." He says and gets up.

I immediately shiver. "wait, babe! Come here!" I yell. He runs back over to me. I climb on his back and he walks to the door.

He swings it open, to reveal his mom. she smiles and Ross allows her to step in. "Hi, guys." She says as she glances at what Ross was wearing. "I'm not interrupting anything, am I?" She asks nervously.

I shake my head. "No, we were about to fall asleep on the couch," I say as I get off of my fiancé.

She smiles again. "Okay, I brought your coffees and a dozen donuts." She says and points to the things she set on the table.

"Thank you, Mrs. Lynch!" I exclaim and hug her.

She laughs and hugs me tightly. "Hun, how many times do I have to tell you!? Call me Stormie!" She laughs as we pull back.

Ross talks to his mom for a few minutes before she says she has to go. We thank her again and Ross closes the door. I jump on him, catching him by surprise. He smiles and supports me by holding underneath my thighs. "Hi, baby girl." He says quietly and kisses my lips quickly.

I pull back and smile weakly. "I'm tired," I whine and lay my head on his shoulder.

"Drink your coffee," he suggests. I nod and get off of him. I grab my coffee walk out to the backyard. I slide off my pants and sit on the side of the pool. I slowly sip my coffee as I swing my feet around in the warm water. Ross walks out and sits next to me, sipping his coffee also. "Are you okay?" He asks after I finish my drink.

I glance over at him, then back to the water. "Yeah," I breathe out.

He slides his feet into the water and swirls his legs in circles. "Wanna do something?" He asks after another few minutes.

"Like what?" I question as I lean my head on his shoulder.

He lays his head on top of mine and replies, "we can call over my siblings and go swimming?"

I nod and stand up. "Okay, let's go change." I say and grab his hand.
