Chapter 5

Ross' P.O.V

I hear a crash upstairs. I run up and open the bedroom door. I sigh as I see Lynnette on the floor. i pick her up and set her gently down on my bed. "Lynnie, baby wake up." I shake her shoulders. Her eyes shoot open and she looks petrified. "Baby, what happened?" I ask as I pull her into my arms.

She shakes her head. "I got dizzy and everything went black." She whimpers.

I stand up and help her downstairs. She sits down on the stool, at the counter. "You okay now?" I ask as I hand her a glass of water. She nods. "Okay.. I'm gonna go pick up dinner, wanna come or stay here?" I ask softly.

"I wanna stay here. before you leave can I have a hug?" She asks innocently.

I walk over to her and pull her up. She wraps her arms around me and burrows her face in my neck. I run my fingers through her long blonde hair. i slowly try to move out of her grip, but her arms remain tightly around me. "Are you sure you're okay?" I ask concernedly.

She pulls back and nods. "Yeah, sorry." She mumbles and sits down.

I sit next to her. I put my fingers underneath her chin, pulling her face to mine. "No you aren't." I slightly growl and kiss her. She barely kisses back. That's when I knew she wasn't okay. I pull back and stare into her petrified eyes. "Baby, tell me." I demand.

"Ross, it's nothing. Just go get dinner. I'm starving." She whines as I grab both her hands.

I pull one of them up to my mouth and kiss it. "Okay, babe. If you need me call me, okay?"

She nods and hugs me again. "Mmkay." She mumbles into my chest.

I pull back and grab my keys. "I love you." I say as I lean over the counter to kiss her again.

She presses her lips to mine, softly. "I love you too." She whispers, sadly.

I sigh and walk out of the door. I close it behind me. What did I do to her? I'm sure I did something. She always acts like that when I do something. Not being sarcastic.. I always do something wrong when it comes to our relationship. I even noticed it. I always fuck up.
