HHYL Fanfic in Fairy Tales : Snow White.

Datong, Emperor Jing Zong era.

Datong's imperium was flourishing and at its peak. The people were living in peace. Economic growth continued to soar remarkably. Political affairs were very stable. Military force was at its strongest.

In this kind of peaceful era, when there was nothing to complain about, naturally unrest would be unheard of. So far, only minor crimes like mountain bandits in remote areas, bullies on the streets, or small time robberies were reported. There was nothing too shocking happening in this kind of era.

Of course, all of the important figures of Datong more or less would have lots of free time on their hands. The said important figures, were none other than the people close to the Emperor.

After they successfully(?) recreated the Cinderella Story, now, once again they gathered together for another play. ---Snow White.

"So, to make it more exciting, let's draw who gets to play whom. All of us will have equal chances. How about that?" When Jing said he wanted to be Snow White, Lu Cang got a bad premonition that Jing would make him play the Prince again. Thus, before Jing could order an irrefutable Imperial decree, he hastily voiced out his idea.

Jing only calmly sat there with his smiling yet not smiling expression. "Fine. I have no problem with that. However, I have a condition!"

Everybody threw their eyes to look at his all of a sudden serious face.

"Cao Xin, by default must be the Snow White's guard. He may not participate in the draw, else, if he gets the Snow White part, who would want to be the Prince?"

Now all eyes were on Cao Xin who foolishly pointed at his own face. He wanted to sound out a protest, but seeing everyone nodded in unison, he could only helplessly hang his head in dejection.

"And why the hell is that insignificant petty character here?" Slamming the table, Zheng rudely pointed at Huan Shu Cheng who sat in a natural pose as if he was part of Datong's important figures, nonetheless, beside Jing. ---Lu Cang was on Jing's right while Shu Cheng was on his left.

Shu Cheng only looked at Zheng with his challenging eyes. ---Shu Cheng was on his special visitation to make his yearly report to Datong's Emperor.

Ignoring Zheng's objection, Jing lightly flicked his wrist to order Zheng to sit back.

"Now Zheng, don't be too agitated. Let's just proceed with the drawing."

Since it was his beloved Brother's order, Zheng could only pout slightly and sat down while still glaring at Shu Cheng.

Xiao Gui Zi was delivering the box with the rolled papers inside for everyone to take their draw. One after another reached into the box for their draw.

Opening the rolled paper in his hand, Lu Cang's face turned green at once. Before everyone could see the huge change in his expression, he quickly pulled Xi Zhen to the side. Talking in whispers.

"Xi Zhen, let's change whatever part you got with mine."

Xi Zhen looked at him with a puzzled face. "But why? Aren't you the one who suggested this drawing thing? Brother Lu, you should do what you suggested."

"I know...... but......" Slowly, with great reluctance, he showed his paper to Xi Zhen.

Unexpectedly, Xi Zhen's eyes widened in all excitement and shouted loudly : "Everyone, Brother Lu got the Snow White role!!"

"Xi Zhen, You!!" Never expected Xi Zhen would betray him to this extent, Lu Cang only could look at the others who were looking at him with mixed expressions on their faces.

Some were obviously frowning while others didn't know exactly how to react. Only two people had the most apparent reaction.

---Upon hearing Lu Cang was the Snow White, Shu Cheng and Jing became excited at once. Both of them hoped that they'd be the Prince.

One by one they opened their drawing paper.

Xi Zhen only got the role of the guard. ---Damn! She wanted to become the magic mirror (?).

Mu Yue and Ding Peng, ---thanks Heaven, also got the role as the guards. They secretly heaved a sigh of relief that they didn't get any weird roles this time.

Zheng, with his shaking hands slowly peeked at his paper, and was utterly disappointed to have gotten only the guard part. ---He secretly wished to be the Evil Queen, so that he could poison Lu Cang, eh, Snow White.

Ge Qing, Liu Cuo, and Liu Zhong Tang were helplessly dragged to fill the guard parts so that they could have the full number of seven guards for the Snow White.

Now, with only two crucial parts left, ---the Evil Queen and the Prince, between Shu Cheng and Jing, who would be the lucky one to be the Prince?

Both of them were looking at each other with a smile gracing their beautiful faces, of course, there was a hidden challenge behind their smiles, ---only they two knew about this.

---But with them 'intimately' locking their eyes like that, was more than enough to irritate Zheng to the utmost.

As if sharing the same mind, they opened their papers at the same time......

Shu Cheng raised his fist victoriously. "Yes!" He shouted out excitedly. ---Obviously he got the Prince part.

Jing only gritted his teeth while narrowing his eyes dangerously. ---Even before the play started, he already looked like an Evil Queen, no, more than that, he looked like a vengeful spirit.

All of a sudden, an eerie smile graced his beautiful lips, like a thousand bloody flowers blooming in the darkest abyss at once.

Everybody but Shu Cheng saw that fearful smile on Jing's face and involuntarily shuddered from head to toe.

---Jing must have another scenario at hand.

Mu Yue and Ding Peng looked at one another, then shrugged their shoulders. It was not their business.

Now, let's begin the story :

Once upon a time, there was an empire named Datong.

This Empire was ruled by a nice and kind Emperor, therefore, all of his people lived in harmony and peace.

However, this nice and kind Emperor had a concubine he favored the most. Because of this, the Queen, Jing, had always hated this particular concubine.

This most favorite concubine had a beautiful daughter, skin err...... white as snow (?), plump lips red as the color of spring flower (?) and a pair of black sparkling eyes twinkling like the brightest stars in winter nights (?).

---Lu Cang was all along holding in his urge to vomit from the description of his role.

For her skin as white as snow(?), they named her : Snow White.

Snow White was a very gentle (?), delicate (?), kind and cheerful (?) Princess. Her singing voice (?) was said to be extremely beautiful to the point that it could attract even the wildest beast to listen to her singing (?).

"Wait!! Do I have to sing???" Lu Cang loudly protested from the side. Xi Zhen, who read the narration, ---written by Jing, only gave him a cold stare.

"Can you all be more serious?! Xiao Zhen, what with those question marks all over the description?" Xi Zhen looked down while briefly stick out her tongue. "If any of you doesn't play your role seriously, I promise you, a terrible punishment will await you all without exception. From now on, I will not allow any interruptions throughout the story. You hear me?"

Since Lu Cang had been constantly nagging ever since the beginning of the story, Jing had no choice but to use his authority to make them all silent.

Lu Cang only looked at him with a face as if being put into the utmost incovenience, said to himself inwardly : Of course it is easy for you. Without this role, you are already a natural demon, devil, evil man!

Despite his grievance, he conceded that the story should continue.

Snow White with her kindness and good disposition, of course she was also the Emperor's most beloved daughter. Even after the Evil Queen secretly poisoned the concubine to death, the Emperor's still didn't look at the Evil Queen. Instead, he poured all of his love for this daughter of his.

The Evil Queen then ordered someone to banish Snow White into the forest. And viciously killed someone and claimed her body to be Snow White.

But Snow White's skin color was so special. Without doubt, the Emperor didn't believe her and in secret dispatched seven guards to find Snow White and protected her from anyone who wanted to harm her.

By heart, the Emperor knew, his Queen's jealousy had caused her to have this evil deed to harm Snow White. And part of it was his fault for neglecting his wife. Then, he vowed to let his Queen to be happy.

Every single day, his Queen would ask him: Your Majesty, who is the fairest of them all?

To make her happy, the Emperor would answer, You my Queen, is the fairest of them all.

However, as the Emperor grew older, he became more honest and said : My dearest daughter, Snow White, is the fairest of them all.

The Evil Queen only quietly looked at the Emperor, then slowly, an evilish smirk formed on her beautiful face.

Changing her beautifully embroidered silk into a black rag, and added a black cloak with black hoodie to hide her true devilish beauty feature, she posed as an old lady and gracefully walked into the Forbidden Forest, the forest where she banished Snow White to.

She was lucky. The seven guards were going to town for their monthly marketing. Buying their everyday needs and stocked up on food. Leaving Snow White unguarded at all.

Snow White was taking a stroll around the forest when she saw the old lady in black. Out of her kindness, she quickly walked to the seemingly sick old lady.

"Mam, are you alright?"

"Oh, what a nice girl you are. To help an old lady like me......"

"Mam, what are you doing in this forest? This forest is very dangerous, there are many wild beast around, also, they said there is a witch who lives in the depths of this forest."

The old lady all of a sudden broke into tears. She cried so sorrowfully.

"What's wrong, Mam? Are you alright? Why do you cry?"

"No..... Only that..... no one had cared for me like you do...... I have been travelling alone for such a long time, every one that I met only looked at me like I am a disease. But you are so kind......"

Snow White held the lady's hands and smiled warmly.

"Mam, I believe that we should help each other. That way, we could live in harmony. Every one would be happy."

The old lady nodded her head in agreement.

"Young lady, I have nothing to repay to you for your kindness but this worthless apple. Would you kindly accept it?"

Snow White shook her head. "No, Mam, how could I accept it? I didn't do anything......"

"Please......take this......regard this as a gift as you made this old lady happy."

Snow White heaved a sigh, then smiled. "Alright. Thank you Mam."

She accepted the red apple from the old lady's hand, and when the old lady still didn't let go of the apple, she looked at her in puzzlement.

"What is it Mam?"

"Take a bite and tell me how it tastes."

Snow White was hesitating for a while. Initially she wanted to share this delicious looking apple with the guards, but looking at the expecting eyes of the old lady, she finally gave up that idea and slowly bit into the apple.

The apple was sweet and juicy, however, there was a strange bitterness mixed in it.

"How is it?"

"It is sweet."

"I know. I mean, how do you feel?"

"How do I feel?"

Indeed. There was a strange tingling and numbing sensation crawling up from the stomach to the entire of the body.

Without saying another word, the protagonist tumbled to the front and succesfully fell into the trap of the villain.

Meanwhile, a Prince from faraway Kingdom, heard of a peculiar story about a beautiful Princess in the Forbidden Forest.

The Princess was so beautiful that every flower would hang down their petals in shame whenever they saw the Princess.

Curious to the utmost, the Prince set off to find this Princess.

However, he was too late......

When he arrived to the forest, the sight that met his eyes was seven mournful guards surrounding a coffin.

All of them were crying and sobbing sorrowfully.

"What's wrong?"

"Princess Snow White......"

The youngest guard couldn't finish his speech as he was crying loudly again.

The Prince had a bad feeling about this depressing situation. He wanted to ask the guards, but all the guards seemed to be drowning in their own sadness and couldn't answer him properly.

Could it be that the Princess had died from illness? Or some evil witch had cast a spell on her?

But the coffin and the mourning guards, it only could mean that...... the Princess really had......

Disappointed to the utmost, the Princess he longed to see was no longer in this world, the Prince moved closer to the coffin, to deliver his final kiss to the sleeping for eternity Princess. To express his unspoken love.

"Eh? What is this? Why is the coffin empty?"

Shu Cheng of course shouted in surprise. The scene he waited for since the moment he got the role was ruined. He was supposed to give the poisoned Lu Cang a kiss to wake him up. But inside the coffin, there was only an empty space.

Zheng gave him an irritated look.

"Isn't it obvious? He was taken away by Brother ever since the moment he ate the apple."

"I knew this kind of thing would happen." Ding Peng whispered to Mu Yue and Mu Yue nodded in agreement.

"But, but, didn't he say it himself, everyone must properly play their role, why he......" Shu Cheng obviously was furious. He couldn't even complete his sentence.

"Sir Huan. It is His Majesty we are talking about. Just give it up." Cao Xin patted Shu Cheng's shoulder to calm him.

Honestly, Shu Cheng was too absorbed in his excitement to kiss Lu Cang that he forgot about this particular Emperor, that he could cook up whatever kind of malicous scheme only to hinder him.

Shu Cheng made a secret vow. One day, he would get his revenge!

Xi Zhen, all along was giggling as if watching a very amusing play while Ge Qing tilted his head in all confusion. Liu Cuo and Liu Zhong Tang only shook their heads while sighing.

------

In the Imperial Chamber, two naked bodies were entangling and rolling in the vast and magnificent Imperial Bed.

"Jing, what did you put in that apple just now?"

Lu Cang, after swallowing the apple, he felt his entire body was powerless, thus he tumbled into Jing's arms. But his body was strangely burning with passion. When Jing was tossing his body all about, he could only feel the extreme pleasure like he had never felt before.

"Oh, only a little dose of aphrodisiac. After releasing several times, you will return to normal." Jing answered lightly without any sense of guilt while rocking his waist in regular rhythm. Sliding in and out of Lu Cang's warm and intoxicating passage. He almost laughed out loud as he envisaged Shu Cheng's face when he discovered the missing Snow White! Pffttt.. as if he would ever allow that insignificant person to kiss his Lu Cang.

"I should have known......." In low whisper, as if talking to himself, Lu Cang let himself indulge in Jing's warmth.

So, what else should be said except: And Snow White and his Evil Queen finally lived happily ever after.
