Marcus sat Sephy on the sink side and watched as her legs dangled freely, he was mesmerised by her milky skin and he found himself reaching forward to run the back of his hand against her thigh.

"You black out again?" He asked in a whisper, moving himself comfortably between her legs.

This close he could take in everything about her, especially the way that her light freckles danced across her nose and up her cheek.

Marcus found himself wondering what it'd be like if they were just two normal teenagers at a normal party.

"Seems that way doesn't it" Sephy replied letting her arms flop to either side of her as she sighed.

She had began to find herself in more and more situations that meant that her and Marcus were insanely close - Not that she minded he was an incredible looking specimen.

"I know you're looking at my scar" he chuckled reaching up to touch his eyebrow.

"I actually wasn't" Sephy hiccuped reaching up to run her soft fingers down the scar "but now you've said it"

Marcus just laughed and noticed the girls swaying movements so he comfortably placed his hands on her hip bones and firmly pressed her against him.

"What would you say if I asked you to kiss me?" Marcus questioned, his chest heaving with adrenaline from the alcohol.

Sephy wrapped both her arms around his neck and locked her hands together.

"I'd say you're drunk" she giggled and Marcus' tongue wiped along his bottom lip just to tease her.

"And what if I am?" Marcus asked inching himself closer to the girl across from him.

Just as Sephy was about to open her mouth to answer back there was a hollow thumping upon the bathroom door and Billy swung it open.

Luckily the pair had distanced and Billy was far too gone to remember them being together and alone tomorrow morning.

"Lex is causing trouble again, dude" Billy groaned and Marcus' eyes rolled back into his head.

"I'm coming" he groaned flashing Sephy an apologetic smile before leaving her in the bathroom to wonder.

Sephy found herself in the kitchen drinking more and more alcohol in hopes that it would drown out all of her bad thoughts.

People were moving around her but she took no notice of them, she was detached and lost and her mind clouded with fog.

"Can I get in there?" Squeaked Billy who had pointed behind the girl towards the cupboard, she moved out of his way without even giving him eye contact.

She watched as the bodies around her bustled and shrieked in a drunken haze. She hated parties, that's what she had decided.

"What are you looking for?" Marcus asked bounding towards Billy as he frantically pulled every item from the overhead cupboards.

Marcus had also noticed how Sephy was leant upon the counter, she had her chin in her hand and her eyes were glossy and cold. He wanted to speak to her but she still scared him very much.

"Quaker Oats dude" Billy grumbled standing on his tip toes to inspect every inch of the cupboard "they're not here" he muttered to himself like he was insane.

Marcus had watched as Sephy straightened her body and exited the kitchen without another word, she looked angry that was for sure, but he had no clue why.

A few hollers came from another room and the boys followed the sound until they were faced with a tight circle of bodies around a fight.

"All fucking day" Sephy shouted pushing Shabnam behind her like a child. Lex had been taunting everyone and she'd had enough of just standing back "shut your big mouth you low life rat"

Lex took a step back, he'd finally let it sink in who was currently chest to chest with him. He stood no chance and if he was to say anything else he wouldn't see daylight.

But his intoxicated brain couldn't comprehend and instead he found himself fighting back.

"Oh you think you're so high and mighty" he stumbled around in a circle and laughed "we all know you slaughtered each of your family members till they were bleeding like a stuck pig" he hissed.

Sephy squeezed her eyes together trying her hardest not to black out, she could hear how fast her blood was pumping and the boy carried on.

"Your mother and each of your little siblings. You're a child killer"

At his words she pushed him to the ground and brought her knee down upon his chest with a thump. She balled her fists and threw them one after the other towards his face until he looked like a sea of red.

"Don't" she punched him again "ever talk about" she punched him once more "my family again"

She was far passed caring about the audience and she was way too gone to pull herself back now.

He had to die.

She flicked her pocket knife out and angled it just under his chin, one swift movement and the mouthy fucker would be dead for eternity.

"The cops are here" called someone in the crowd but Sephy's vision was too blurry to make out who said it.

"Persephone lets GO" screamed a female voice, someone tried to pull Sephy off of Lex's body but her thighs clenched around his torso.

Then all of a sudden she was thrown into the air and onto someone's shoulder, she flailed and thrashed but soon gave up.

When she was placed back on the floor and ordered to run her vision began to spot.

"Don't you dare black out on me now" ordered Marcus grabbing hold of Sephy's face to force her to stay awake.

"Dude that cops just noticed her" warned Willie towards Marcus who looked at the blank girl, wrapped his arm around her violently shaking body, and began to sprint.
