            "our fate decides whether to make it forever or.......forever goodbye. I guess when it comes to love it will probably happen. Should I just give up?"

After a few hours later, Chaeyoung decided to go home

Chaeyoung: Mina, I'm need to go

Mina: I don't want to see you go Chaengie

Chaeyoung: Minari, even though when I'm far away, I'll always be with you

Mina: *sniffs* always?

Mina said while sobbing

Chaeyoung: always Mina

Chaeyoung then hugged Mina while patting her back

Mina: I feel-

Chaeyoung: better rest your heart, you expressed too much feelings today. I'm going home now Mina, okay?

Mina: are you taking the bus again?

Chaeyoung: nope, there are no buses at the station since it's 3 pm, I'll take a taxi this time

Mina: I'll pay for the fare, and don't pay me back okay?

Chaeyoung: okayyy

They called a taxi and Chaeyoung went inside

Mina: take care Chaeyoung-ah

Chaeyoung: I will

Mina: call me

Chaeyoung: sure

The taxi driver drove off and Mina was still looking back at ChaeyoungWhile driving, they encountered a short traffic on the road. Chaeyoung decided to check on Mina and called her

*phone rings*

Mina: hello?

Chaeyoung: Minari

Mina: are you home now?

Chaeyoung: not yet, there was traffic here

Mina: oh, where are you right now?

Chaeyoung: at the intersection near the park. Oh wow, the hospital design quite changed

Mina: the hospital?

Chaeyoung: yeah, the one near the park. It's where my uncle works, he's a pediatrician. He used to take care of me when I was little. The hospital looked nicer

Mina: that's cute

Chaeyoung: I'm cute?

Mina: yes, you're cute

They both chuckled. The traffic light turned green and the cars started move again

Chaeyoung: oh, we're moving now, I'll talk to you later when I get home okay?

Mina: okay, take care. I love you Chaeyoung

Chaeyoung: I love you too Mina-Before Chaeyoung could finish, a truck at their left was going at high speed and honked loudly at them. Chaeyoung slowly looked at her side. And then......

One.....

Loud.....

Crash.....

The taxi came tumbling and stopped upright. Chaeyoung's seatbelt was snapped in half and she got thrown around inside the car and glasses from the windows were everywhere. Chaeyoung was still half conscious and holding her phone tightly even though she's badly injured

Looking outside, she let one more word out of her mouth before she became completely unconscious

Chaeyoung: m-minari~

She said with a weak voice, dropping her phone on the taxi's floor

Mina was on the other end of the call and heard everything

Mina: C-Chae? C-Chaengie??? Chaeyoung-ah! YA! SON CHAEYOUNG!!!

For a few minutes, Chaeyoung didn't respond but an ambulance siren was heard instead

Mina: Chaeyoung-ahhhhhh

Mina said while panicking and crying

*call ended*

At this point, Mina texted everyone about what happened

Tdoong Girls

MinaChaeyoung got into an accident. Go to the hospital, the one near the park

quickly!

JihyoWhat?!

NayeonWe better hurry!

DahyunChaeyoung-ahhhhh

Mina, still panicking and crying, immediately told Sung Hoon what happened

Mina: Sung Hoon, get the car ready, we need to go to the hospital

Sung Hoon: wait what why???

Mina: Chaeyoung got into an accident!

Sung Hoon: Chaeyoung? What happened?

Mina: no time to explain, we better hurry!

Sung Hoon: Mina, your heart.....

Mina: I don't care if it hurts, the person I love is going to die right now, let's go!

Sung Hoon and Mina immediately drove off and quickly went to the hospital as fast as possible. Mina felt something's attacking her but adrenaline made her focused on going to the hospital

By the time they arrived, Mina was holding onto Sung Hoon because her heart was slowly getting weaker. She looked around and saw no signs of Chaeyoung

Voices were heard behind them

Nurse 1: make way everyone!

Nurse 2: student from Tdoong University was at the scene of accident. Possible fractured ribs and she's bleeding at her lower right abdomen

Nurse 1: clear the way!

Nurse 3: apply pressure on the would quickly!

Nurse 2: understand!

Nurse 1: better hurry! She's not breathing

Mina looked behind her and saw nurses rushing with a wheeled stretcher, one applying pressure down a wound. Mina saw a young female student laying on it, wearing Tdoong University's uniform and a ring on her right hand. She looked at her face, it was Chaeyoung

Chaeyoung and her clothes were covered in blood, bruises were found on both of her arms, a scar on her face and her right abdomen was bleeding

Mina let go of Sung Hoon and ran after Chaeyoung. Sung Hoon almost tripped but still chased after Mina

The nurses stopped them from going to the operating room after Mina was running and desperately crying

Mina: Chaeyoung-ahhhhh

Sung Hoon: Mina, let's wait here

They both waited outside until Nayeon, Jeongyeon, Momo, Sana, Jihyo, Dahyun and Tzuyu arrived and saw Mina crying

Jihyo: Mina!

Mina: Jihyo-ahhhh

Mina said while still crying and hugged Jihyo

Jihyo: hey hey, calm down, what happened?

Mina: we were just talking on the phone, s-she was in a taxi. But when we were about to say goodbye, there was a loud honk then a loud c-crash after. She didn't respond and all I-I can hear was ambulance sirens

Sana: oh my, Chaeyoungie.....

Dahyun hugged Tzuyu and cried as well

Mina: C-Chaeyoung isn't gonna die, isn't she?

Mina sobbed

Nayeon: she is not going to die, where is Chaeyoung?

Mina: she's in the operating room r-right now, but I heard from the nurses that she wasn't breathing and she's b-bleeding

Jeongyeon: did you see her?

Mina: she w-was covered in blood and bruises everywhere

Momo: Chaengieee

Momo said while sobbing

Jihyo: it's best for us to wait here and hope that she would be okay

*one hour later*

A doctor and a nurse stepped outside the operating room and Mina immediately stood up

Dr. Kang: are you the patient's guardians?

Mina: we're a friend of hers

Dr. Kang: I am doctor Kang, and we're glad to say that the patient survived the accident. She was in critical condition during the operation, one of the wounds caused her to lose a lot of blood. Luckily, we were able to supply enough blood and stitched the wound. She's still unconscious and we're estimating around two to three days before she regain consciousness. But for the mean time, my nurse would monitor her and assist you as well

Mina: thank you Dr. Kang, thank you so much

Dr. Kang: it's not a problem

The doctor said and walked away

Nurse 1: we will be moving her to a new room, we'll inform you after

Mina: excuse me, is it possible to move her to a VIP room?

Nurse 1: let me check. Yes, you can, do you want us to move her there instead?

Mina: yes please

Nurse 1: okay, please just wait for a couple of minutes at the lobby

They were assisted and waited at the lobby

Tzuyu: I'm glad Chaeyoung survived

Nayeon: I can't afford to see her die

Jeongyeon: I'm happy Chaeyoung didn't gave up

Dahyun: she's strong, and I know she's not giving up easily

*few minutes later*

Nurse 1: the patient has been moved to the room, please come this way

Mina: Momo-yah

Momo: come here Mina, Chaeyoung is okay now

The nurse escorted them to Chaeyoung's room. By the time the nurse opened the door, Mina burst into tears as she sees Chaeyoung on the hospital bed

Nurse 1: I will check on her after 15 minutes, for now, you can stay here for a while

Mina: t-thank you so much

They all walked in and Mina immediately went beside Chaeyoung

          "Chaeng, you didn't gave up. Be strong for us, okay?"

Mina thought

Tzuyu: Chaeyoung-ah, you told me you're not gonna leave us, why would you go first???

Momo: ya, Tzuyu-ah, that's not gonna happen, why would say that *sobs*

Dahyun: come on Tzuyu, not now *sniffs*

Jihyo: I think it's best for us to stay here for a while then visit Chae again tomorrow

Nayeon: yeah I agree

Jeongyeon: Dahyun, Tzuyu, better inform Chaeyoung's mom about this

Dahyun: I already did, they're actually coming

Jeongyeon: now?

Dahyun: yeah

Jeongyeon: okay that's good to hear

Moments later, they all decided to go home except for Mina who can't seem to leave Chaeyoung's side. She was afraid that something will happen and Chaeyoung might not wake up

Sung Hoon: Mina, we better go home. You also need some rest

Mina: okay *sniffs*

They went out while Mina's still looking back

For the past two days, Mina kept on visiting Chaeyoung and even ate lunch at her room, patiently waiting for her to wake up. Until one day, Mina visited Chaeyoung earlier than expected

Mina: Chaeyoung-ah, I'm here

Mina said while entering the room

Mina: you're still asleep, I'll wait for you again, okay?

            "why did I have the urge to go here early in the morning, I'm still sleepy"

Mina thought as she leans at Chaeyoung's side while holding her hand. She fell asleep, still beside Chaeyoung

*a couple of minutes later*

Chaeyoung: m-minari?

Chaeyoung said in a faint voice

Mina quickly woke up and looked at Chaeyoung. She saw Chaeyoung finally opening her eyes and gaining consciousness

Mina: Chaeyoung-ah!

Mina hugged Chaeyoung and sobbed

Mina: Chaeyoung-ah, w-why does that have to h-happen to you, I-I was worrie-

Chaeyoung: it's okay mina, i'm going to be okay

Chaeyoung said in a weak voice and smiled

While Mina was trying to calm herself down, Nayeon, Jeongyeon, Momo, Sana, Jihyo, Dahyun and Tzuyu unexpectedly walked in

Sana: CHAEYOUNG-AH!

Dahyun: you're awake!

Jihyo: I better tell the nurse about this

Tzuyu: I'll go with you

Momo: Chaeyoungie *sobs*

Nayeon: did she just woke up?

Nayeon asked Mina

Mina: yeah, she just did

Nayeon: I'm glad you're okay now our little baby cub

Chaeyoung: little......baby cub? *softly laughs*

Jeongyeon: you better gain enough strength, we're going somewhere after you feel better

Chaeyoung: why does it feel......like you're my parents?

Chaeyoung said in a soft voice

Meanwhile, Nayeon and Jeongyeon slowly looked at each other and smiled

Nayeon: I guess we are

While they are all happy and teary-eyed in the room, Jihyo and Tzuyu walked in with the nurse

Nurse 1: you're finally awake, let me just adjust the bed so you can sit upright okay?

Chaeyoung: okay~

Nurse 1: that will do, your vitals are stable this time so I'll check later. If something happens, please inform me or any nurse in the lobby

Jihyo: will do, thank you

The nurse walked out of the room and Mina felt chest pains again. She realized that her emotions were out of control the past few days and she excused herself

"no no no, this can't be. It hurts too much. Wait, Chaeyoung-ah"

Mina thought and was panicking with her hand over her chest, considering the fact she could die anytime

At the same time Sana and Momo went out and saw Mina on the floor, unconscious and still with her hand on her chest

Sana: MINA!

Momo: Mina, wake up

Momo tried to wake her, but Mina didn't respond

Momo: oh no no no, Mina Mina, wake uppp

Sana: w-what if her heart stopped?

Momo: that's not gonna happen!

Momo said with a loud voice and ran to find a nurse

Sana: Mina, don't you dare do that

Sana said in a worried voice and noticed that something was wrong

Sana: Mina-yah.......you're.........not breathing......well

Momo went back with nurses. They checked Mina and realized that she has no pulse, and very weak breathing

Nurse 2: we better hurry

Nurse 3: okay at the count of three. One, two, three!

They placed Mina over the wheeled stretcher and hurried her to the ERThere was still an available bed and the nurses gently transferred Mina. A doctor was immediately called and a nurse quickly did cpr

Dr. Kang: no pulse....get the defibrillator

Two of the nurses closed the curtains and Sana and Momo could only hear was the word "clear" and a continuous long beep

While the doctor is trying his best to save her, Mina's heart was slowly giving up. She recalled some of her memories with Chaeyoung before her last breath

Her first smile

Her first blush

Her first kiss

Their first date

Their 10-monthFriendsary

But---

*10 minutes later*

Dr. Kang: *sighs* time of death, 8:45 am

Sana: what~

Momo: Minariii~

Dr. Kang: I'm sorry, we tried our best and we couldn't save her. Once again, we are truly sorry

Sana and Momo: MINA-YAHHH

Sana and Momo went beside Mina and cried

Sana: w-why~

Momo: Minariii, please......don't go~

Until.....

*beep*

Mina's heartbeat was coming back and the doctor checked her right away. Turns out, her heart went into shock, but Mina didn't mind the pain. Mina was more concerned with Chaeyoung rather than herself. And because of that, her heart gained enough strength to come back life. Mina opened her eyes and said...

Mina: momoring.....sana-yah~

Sana and Momo: Minari

They both said while crying

Dr. Kang: your heart, is one special heart. We'll monitor you for a week before you can get discharged

He walked out, assigned a nurse for monitoring and left Sana and Momo with Mina

Mina: i dreamt of something

Sana: don't talk to much, your heart......you'll never know

Mina: no, it's fine. I saw my mom, I don't know where I was but everything was white. My mom walked towards me and..... She told me,              "were you happy? I was watching over you, I saw you with someone that made you smile. I missed your smile my little dandelion. Don't stay here, you still have a lot of time, go back. Your heart will be okay once you wake up and don't worry, everything will be back to normal. No more hiding of feelings. No more chest pains. Just be happy for me, okay?"

Mina said and was about to cry

Mina: she made me go back here, she wanted me to do everything I wanted without having to worry about anything

Nurse 1: excuse me, we'll be moving you to the same room with Ms. Son

Mina: sure, thank you~

*at Chaeyoung's room*

A couple of nurses went in and they were all confused

Jihyo: is there something we need to do?

Nurse 1: no, we're just transferring someone here, with her

Jeongyeon: someone? Why would you transfer someone with her roo-

Before Jeongyeon could finish her sentence, a couple of nurses went inside with a bed, with Mina on it

Nayeon: wait, what happened?!

Tzuyu: why is Mina-unnie on the bed....

Sana: we'll explain later, let her rest

Dahyun: is it because of her heart?

Momo: yes

The nurses went out after fixing her bed beside Chaeyoung's and Jihyo immediately closed the door

Chaeyoung: what happened?

Mina: my heart-

Chaeyoung: it stopped???

Mina: yeah

Chaeyoung: is it because of me?

Mina: no, you're actually reason why I'm talking to you right now

Chaeyoung: you didn't give up

Mina: giving up wasn't an option Chaengie

Mina said and they both smiled at each other

Nayeon: Mina and Chaeyoung are finally going to be okay

Jeongyeon: yeah, they will

Dahyun: it feels like a love story

Momo: well Dub, it's real life

Tzuyu: I didn't know love stories could start at the hospital

Sana: actually Tzuyu, it started when they first met

Jihyo quickly noticed everyone hugging in pairs

Jihyo: really? Again? Wow, Jihyo-ah, good job, you did it

Jihyo said while patting her back

Nayeon: silly Jyo, come over here

Chaeyoung got into an accident and Mina's heart stopped, yet, destiny never let them part ways. I guess you could say, they were actually meant to be
