Chapter Seven
08:06, 2 August 2017The restroom door creaked open slightly. Heather glanced through the crack between the stall and door.
Martha stood in front of the sink, her eyes seemed to be red and it looked as if some sort of drink spilt all over her. She grabbed a few paper towels to wipe it off but it was still stained.
Mac slipped out of the stall to give Martha a small smile.
This caused Martha to move out of the way quickly since a Heather was in her presence.
"Thank you." She smiled again before pumping soap into her hand. She didn't actually go to the bathroom but she wanted to give the effect that she actually did.
"Heather! Heather!" Veronica ran into the restroom, her face flushed and out of breath.
Heather Chandler appeared next to Mac with a slight smirk on her face. "Run."
"What?" McNamara furrowed her eyebrows to see the girl in red. This was now normal. Too normal.
"I said run. Run out of the school and to the graveyard. I know you miss me." She placed a hand on her hip.
"N-no. This is just in my mind." She shook her head.
"Aw Heather, do you not miss me? You're my best friend and now you're saying you don't miss me." She fake pouted while moving a hair behind her shoulder.
"I do miss you b-but I'm not going to run." She spoke with some uncertainty in her voice.
"If you don't run then Veronica is going to ruin you. I'm only trying to help you. She's standing at that doorway about to yell and scream at you about how terrible of a friend you are. I bet you Heather is also with her." Chandler placed a hand on Heather M's shoulder and stared at her in the mirror.
"Heather, please stop this!" She cried out, her arms and hands swinging around.
Later that night Veronica sat at her desk writing rapidly. Her monocle fell down a few times from her head bobbing up and down. A knock was sounded at the window but she was too busy to notice.
"Dear Diary,End this now.
I thought being friends with The Heathers would get me somewhere. And I was right it got me somewhere. It got me into a goddamn mess, a hell hole.
How many teenagers can say they've already killed three people and they're only seventeen? No one should say that. Sadly someone has, and sadly that person is me.
What the hell have I done?"
"Greetings and salutations." Jason Dean slid the window up, popping his head through.
"What the hell are you doing here?" She turned around, her eyes wide open.
"I saw you running down the hallway earlier." He climbed through, jumping down.
"Get the fuck out of my house!" She stood up almost immediately.
"You're jumpy today. Everything alright, babe?" JD took a few steps closer.
"Don't call me babe!" She ran to the other side of her room.
Heather McNamara laid in bed, staring at the ceiling. Thoughts swarming her head as per usual. She sat up, leaning over and grabbed her pale yellow phone. She dialed Veronica's number with some hope. "Veronica?"
Ronnie picked up her phone quickly. "I'm sorry, Heather, but I can't talk since some psychotic fuck is in my room!" She yelled in distress.
"Why the hell do you have one of the Heathers on the phone? They're straight up bitches." He spoke hunched over, pacing the room.
"Heather McNamara may seem like a bitch but she's not!" Veronica held the phone to her chest.
"You don't deserve her or any of them! Veronica, they're messing with your head." He walked over.
"You're the only one who's messing with my head, now get out!" She pointed back over to the window.
"Hang up the phone. You don't need her." He demanded.
"Yes I do! She's an amazing friend!" She flared her nostrils.
"No she's not! Trust me Veronica. She's going to end up like Heather Chandler, Kurt and Ram. She's going to hurt you! Heather Duke is going to hurt you!" Jason took the phone out of her hands and slammed it down.
"I swear to god, if you lay a hand on her or Heather! Jason Dean-" Veronica yelled out but she was too late. JD had already climbed back out the window and left. Another Heather could drop dead and it would be all her fault.
How Very.
