Kusuo stared at your sleeping figure. It was almost 3 pm, but you were still asleep. He let out a sigh, standing near the bedside. You looked peaceful while sleeping.

After he responded to your 'ily' message, you immediately fell asleep since it was late. You're not a heavy sleeper, but there are times you tend to sleep the whole day when you're tired.

He quietly admired you for a moment before coming back to his senses. He figured you hadn't eaten anything, so he decided to teleport to his house in the kitchen for a while to cook you something.

Your father was in the living room hence why he couldn't use your kitchen. Kusuo might get kicked out if your jerk of a dad found out that there was some 'intruder' in his house.

And for the first time in his life, he didn't want an average result. He tried to make the best only for you. He knows how to cook, but he wasn't that skilled, so the psychic tried his best to satisfy you.

"Oh? Kusuo, you never touched the kitchen. I'm surprised you can cook." A mischievous voice stated, making the pink-haired huff. It was pointless arguing with Kuusuke, for he was wearing a telepathy canceler, so Kusuo ignored him instead.

The reason why he didn't want you to come was because of Kuusuke. The psychic knew his brother would only end up provoking you and say something reckless like what he did to Teruhashi.

'I'd do my best to keep my brother under control, and in order to do that, I must not let him meet [ name ].' He mumbled to himself, a hand on his chin.

Kusuo's only problem was his brother being sharp enough to know what's going inside his mind."Hahaha, you look bothered. Are you perhaps hiding something from me?" Kuusuke grinned, tilting his head to the side.

Kusuo only shot him a deadly glare before proceeding to ignore him. With that, the pink-haired focused on the food he was making as the mad scientist went to mind his own business.

After an hour and a half, he was finally done cooking. He packed the dish into a container before teleporting back to your room only to find you sleeping at a weird angle. Kusuo let out a sigh, biting his inner cheek.

"[ surname ], wane up." He called out, and you replied with nothing. He squinted his eyes, kneeling down with one knee on the ground to the level of the bed. He pinched your cheeks in hopes you would wake up, but to no avail, you're still asleep.

A smirk made its way to his lip as he thought about a brilliant yet silly idea. Kusuo leaned in closer to your lip inch by inch before licking it. Due to the sudden contact, you jolted up, finally awake.

"Sa— Saiki?!" Your mouth gaped in shock as he stared at you with a smirk. "How was your sleep?" He raised a brow, making you gulp. You didn't know if you were dreaming, so you rubbed your eyes before looking at him again.

'Crap, I'm not dreaming, am I?!' You mentally panicked, you covered your face with both of your palms. You couldn't face Kusuo due to embarrassment. Your hair is similar to a bird's nest, and judging by how your face is like, you look sleep-deprived.

"Wait, wait! Don't look at me right now! I look horrible!" Your voice was muffled as you stated, avoiding his gaze. You weren't going to let him see what you look like, or else he might end up leaving you for someone prettier like Teruhashi or someone cuter like Rifuta.

Kusuo stared at you with a poker face before saying, "As much as I hate to break the moment, I cannot see your actual face." Your mouth gaped in realization, removing your hands away from your face. You were confused at what he meant by that, so you decided to ask.

"What do you mean you can't see my face?" You tilted your head to the side while asking a question. "My x-ray." He bluntly responded as you nodded in understanding. "There are times they malfunction, so I've actually seen your face before." He added.

You were hesitant since you didn't know if what he said was true, but there's no way you wouldn't believe him. "..Okay then. Let me go get changed first." He silently watched as you crawled out of bed and went to the restroom connected to your room.

Mentally grinning, he stated something inside his head. 'That was a lie. She looked cute with that messy hair.' To explain Kusuo's x-ray powers, it takes five seconds to see through skins, and it resets when he blinks.

He patiently waited for you to finish whatever you were doing in the restroom. Why did the author make that sound sus wtf. Anyway, moving on, after you got out, he handed you the container as he said, "It's your favorite food," he paused, gulping, "..mom told me to give it to you." There was a slight blush on his cheeks which didn't go noticed by you.

That was another lie. Although this time, he was embarrassed to tell you that he actually made it, but he was happy to see your reaction.

"Really? Tell her I said thank you!" You beamed, accepting the container. You were grateful since you didn't want to go downstairs because you knew your father was there.
