Chapter 3

I woke up early today too.. The same nightmare again.. More than a nightmare the word 'reminiscence of a worst event' would be perfect ..

I did my usual works and it was raining outside, the rain was so heavy as if The sky teared open and pouring out all the water the clouds saved...the loud thunderstorm woke up Austin and he started crying..

I fed him milk and made him play with his toys.. He fell asleep after playing sometime.. I was so bored so I opened the old box which I used during my childhood and rummaged through it..

My old school trophies, the prizes I won in violin contests.. I found my Mom's belongings on it .. The things she used.. Her jewelry.. The ones I loved so I took them after pleading to mom.. Pfft.. I used to collect mom's things which I found pretty so that I can use them when I grew up like her.. Then I found a pocket watch in the box..

I took it out and it was an antique piece.. I don't remember having this.. Whose this..? I am sure it's not mine.. How did it get here..? I don't know but it looked interesting.. It has two birds on each side..it looked so old.. When  was this made..?

As I was staring at it curiously.. Austin started crying again.. I think it's better if I sleep beside him.. It's already late in night anyway.. I stood up and went to bed..

"There there.. Why my tin tin is crying..? Did you also had a bad dream..? God ..please give our tin tin only good dreams.."

I walked back and forth patting his back.. He kept crying and I accidentally dropped the pocket watch from my hand when austin tried to jump out of my hands..

It fell down and shattered.

" oh my God..!! "

I crouched down and stared at it worried .. The glass was broken into pieces.. I put  austin  down on the bed and picked up the broken glass pieces carefully without leaving any behind.. I disposed the glass and the watch was now empty inside and it wasn't working from the start..

I guess it was already broken.. I went back to bed tired and flopped beside my sleeping son.. Austin was getting so moody now a days.. For some reason I wanted to hold that watch in my hands for sometime.. I closed my eyes and after sometime.. Everything around me was white and bright..

May be I am in a different dream now .. I was standing inside a empty room and there was a white large wall size curtains everywhere.. The outside was so bright and its blinding my eyes.. I saw someone in the corner and walked towards that person ..

As I kept walking.. The distance between us kept increasing.. Am I going to walk all night in this dream..? I walked and walked and finally I was a bit near that person.. The large white curtain blow in the air and when it went back to its place..

He turned behind smiling at me.. With his deep red eyes bright and his shirt fresh without any drop of blood.. He looked more beautiful than usual.. I tried walking further but I felt like my legs are frozen.. I stared back at him and he was staring at me smiling..

Please stop coming in my dreams lucas.. It already feels suffocating.. Tears dripped down  my eyes..I think Lucas and tears are the same thing for me .. Whenever I think about him or been with him I cried .. - - - - - - - p. O. V. Ends - - - - -

Her tears dripped down and fell on the stop watch in her hand which she is holding in her palm which she rested on her pillow beside her face..

The stopwatch glowed brightly.. The light was blinding...

Triiiiing... Triiing....

The sound of alarm clock was annoying me as I woke up and turned it off.. Wait..alarm clock .? I opened my eyes and stared at the room... It's my room back in korea..!! I looked down and pinched my hand..

Ouch it hurts.. It's too real to be a dream...but I was in Japan last night...how did this..? I sprinted up from my bed and turned to see austin sleeping beside me.. I sighed in relief.. I stared at him for a while..

Austin.. Looked a bit smaller.. Like his seven months old self ...!! I searched for my mobile and looked at the date and time.. My heart literally stopped for a minute..it's.. It's November ..!! really three months earlier..!! But how..?

I was in Japan yesterday.. What's going on here..?! I looked around and everything was the same as two months ago in my apartment in korea.. I looked into the closets and everything was literally the same..

(LlThen is everything just a dream..? No way.. When I was looking around totally confused.. That stopwatch was there beside my pillow.. I ran towards it and it's glass was broken like yesterday.. No way..

Everything was real..!! I came back three months earlier than I was..!! How is this even possible...?!!

Is it because of this watch..? Cause this was the only thing that's remaining the same..!! Then.. I rushed outside of my room and saw helly sitting there drinking her coffee.. Every thing was the same.. I really came back to the past.. Then.. I rushed back inside and got ready..

"helly please take care of austin for a while I will be back.." I said as I rushed outside

"OK.. But where are you going this early in the morning..?"

she shouted but I ignored her and rushed to my car..I drove towards the area where lucas house was and parked my car in the corner of the street.. I waited for him to come out..

My heart was beating like crazy.. Please come out alive lucas.. I prayed to God.. i was so nervous as I squeezed my steering and banged my head on it in frustration..

I looked up and saw him coming outside. Looking at him being alive a huge pain left my heart and I felt like I can breathe well again.. I felt less suffocating and so happy... Thank you for being alive Lucas .. God ...thank you so much..!! for sending me back in time

Tears dribbled down my cheeks this time in happiness.. He is alive and well..!! Today is the day after I met lucas again .. Which means I slapped him yesterday.. From now on, in one month.. That worst day will come again..

This time.. I will make sure to save you lucas...

I don't know how I ended up coming back to past but.. I would use this miraculous opportunity to rewrite our destiny.. I felt so good like even the heavens are helping me.. I ride back to my house and helly was getting ready for her work, she was working as piano teacher in a music school .

. My son was watching his favourite rhymes on tv..i went inside my room and safely kept my guardian angel.. That pocket watch inside a box and put it in my locker.. I still can't remember when did I get that.. But I would never forget it for the rest of my life..

I Sat on my bed as I took out my diary and wrote the incidents I can remember vividly.. First I have to figure out how I can change the future.. Should I just leave now so that lucas can be free..? No.. By this time his enemies already know of us..

If I went to the time when lucas himself didn't know it would be easy but I am already grateful for this.. May be it's too late now to go far away from lucas .. What if because of my decision I put Austin in danger and even lucas can't help me..? I don't want lucas to die but, at the dame time I don't want to put austin in danger.. Haah.. What do I do..?!!

I came back to past, yeah.. its a good thing.. But can I really change it..?!!

I sighed as I closed my eyes letting my body relax.. Let's take one step at a time.. I thought as I slowly fell asleep...

Then suddenly the calling bell rang like crazy.. And helly wasn't home.. She took austin and went to departmental store before going to work leaving a stick note for me on the fridge door..

I stood up and walked towards the door pissed.. And when I opened the door he was standing there again and staring at me wide eyed.. Wait.. He didn't came to my house like this before.. Why is he here..?

"lucas..? What are you doing here..?"

I asked tilting my head and he sighed..

" nothing.. Just checking.. Bye"

he said and ran towards his car again.. What's wrong with him..? I went back inside.. I was too tired to think about anything so I decided to continue my nap.

Lucas P. O. V.

She is alive..!! Safe and good.. Haah.. Thank goodness..!!.. I can't believe this but I really came back to the  past..?!! . . .

All of this started in Texas.. When I met her for the first time in a bar.. That bar was as usual dark like my life.. I was exhausted after that three hour long meeting and finishing my personal stuffs. I went to that bar to relax and that's where I saw her..

She looked so unreal... For a moment I thought the world stopped ,her beauty is out of this world.. !!She light up my dark world like a magic.. !!That long platinum blonde wavy hair.. That jewel like sapphire eyes, they are so beautiful !! and she literally glowed under the light..!! Every men in the bar was gawking at her like me.. Well who won't at such a beautiful girl..

she was too beautiful to ignore, that's the first time I felt something in my heart after many years.. I felt like my heart which was frozen to ice started beating again.. She had this effect on me which I can't control.. And when our eyes met, she also stared back at me and its like, we were the only one in this whole damn world.. And when the distance between us shrunk, so is my consciousness.. When I got up the next day I myself can't believe I had a night stand with a girl that I got attracted to ..

I never ever thought about anything other than my goal and surviving .. She walked into my life and made me lose my control....

That's what she is in my life... since I can't afford to have her as anything more than that .. I left as soon as I can..

At that time I thought it wouldn't be a big problem.. She was playing violin at that place means may be she used to have so many night stands.. So I forgot about her.. No I wish I had..

She would sometimes appear in my dreams and at that times I would feel like a warm breeze hit me.. strangely she left a warm Impression on me.. Which I am unable to forget, I don't know anything about her beside her name.. Even her name was beautiful and suited her so well..

After that ,something I never thought even in my dreams crash landed in my life..

One of my nemesis said he knew a secret about me which no one knows..i met him at the spot he told me to come to hear what bullshit he have in his sleeve to threaten me like that.. But what he told me..was something I never expected...

"lucas.. I never thought you would be like this.. Wow..!! You are so smart but you know you can't hide a truth for so long.. It will come out somehow.." he said in a mocking tone and laughed hysterically like a maniac..

"come to the point.. I don't have time to fool around with you" I said irritated

" ohh.. You wanna know what I found..? Your family.. Your beautiful little family.. I found about it.. Lucas" he said and laughed again

"tch.. I will Get going.. This nut job is wasting my time"

I said as I took a step towards my car and he blocked me. Showing a envelope in front of me shaking it.. I grabbed it from his hand and opened it.. And my mind went blank..

It's a photo of athanasia with a child and I shuffled the photos and the child was so clear in last pic..

He had black hair and even a beauty mark just like me... No way..!! Don't tell Me...!!

I looked up at him and he had a proud smile on His face. he took my shocked expression for him succeeded in finding my secret which even I don't know...

"wow !!! the look in your face is quite something.. Look at you dude.. Looking so shocked.. Pfft haha.." he laughed..

"so what will You do..? If I did something to them...?" he asked in a mocking tone..

Well... to be honest  first i have to confirm the truth about this pictures..

"try it then.."

I said and left the place

then I asked cabel to check on this news and waited anxiously for him at my office...

No... Please let it be fake information .. I am not in the situation to have a family .. It's already hard for me to survive in this shitty family.. I can't get  another person  involved in this..

I was sitting on my chair ruffling my hair in frustration cabel ran inside panting.. I stared at him like my life depends on him...
