A few months later, school was about to begin. Beverly was about to leave, a lot of things have been changing.

Eddie, spends 99% of his time with friends after he stood up to his mother, he still hasn't talked to her.

Richie and Lacey have been an offical thing for 3 months.

Bill and Bev, well none of them knows what they are, but they are close.

Beverly and Lacey were talking about what it felt like when they were floating.

Suddenly Bill picks up a sharp rock. "Swear It, swear that if It comes back, we'll fight it"

Everybody stands up agreeing to what he said.

He goes around the circle, making cuts in each persons hand. They all joined hands, the order was Bill, Richie, Lacey, Eddie, Mike,Stan, Ben and then Bev.

They all stood there, silently promising they won't leave no mater what.

Once they all separate hands, Stan has to leave.

"I hate you" Stan says to Bill with a straight face. Bill almost thought he was serious until Stan couldn't help but smile.

Everybody left, leaving Lacey, Richie, Bill and Beverly.

"I have to go home, i love you guys" Lacey stands up and hugs Beverly. "I'm gonna miss you, mostly because you are leaving me with a group of boys." She whispers causing Bev to laugh.

Lacey hugs Bill and she turns to Richie. "Cmon hot stuff I'll walk you home" Lacey playfully rolls her eyes and she intertwined her fingers with his.

"Bye guys" Lacey waves to the last two of the bunch before leaving with the one she loves.

Bill tries to say anything he can, to make Beverly stay, but she had to leave.

"See you later" she smiles and walks away.

"beverly wait" bill says, causing beverly to stop in her tracks.

bill then runs up to her, with out saying anything and smashes his lips onto hers.

When they pull apart, she smiles and kisses him back.

"Goodbye" she smiles and continues walking away, leaving Bill in awe.

"my hand is on fucking fire" Lacey says to Richie, as they walk back home. "You are on fire," Richie laughs getting a blank expression from Lacey.

"I can't believe we start school next week, this summer has, been absolutely terrible" Lacey shakes her head

Richie looks at her with sad eyes" I'm just kidding, i have the best best friends and bout friend, new home new school, i have everything i need" She smiles swinging their hands like a swing set.

"see this is why i wish 14 year olds could get married" Richie says causing Lacey to laugh.

When they reach the end of her drive way, they stop.

"I'll see you later okay?" Richie asks" of course" she smiles. Richie plants a light kiss on her forehead before walking to his home.

When Lacey walks into her house she noticesboxes that at packed.

"Woah, so is Joey finally moving?" she asks excitingly referring to her moms new boyfriend.

"Nope" Her mom jumps up from the couch.

"We are" She smiles.

Lacey couldn't reply. She felt dizzy, it was words she never wanted to hear.

"What?" Lacey says.

"That's right honey, we are going home."
