Today was the day Lacey and the Losers were going to the sewers.

Richie decided to pick Lacey up from her house since him and bill needed to go to eddies.

When Lacey walks out of her house, his jaw drops. She was gorgeous, he didn't want to show affection so he ruined it.

"Hey hot stuff ready for the sewers?" Richie says propping his bike up.

"Can you call me anything other than hot stuff?" Lacey playfully rolls her eyes."and stop staring" she pushes Richie back causing him to stumble.

He was admiring everything about her.

Her long hair was pulled up perfectly into a ponytail.

She was wearing a baby pink shirt with a dark blue high-waisted shirt. Paired with white shoes and a jean jacket.

She had a mini baby blue leather backpack to finish everything off. But when she smiles, he fell, hard. Not really fell but, ya know.

"Sorry" Richie shakes his head pushing his glasses up.

"Let's roll" Richie says hopping in his bike and Lacey doing the same.

Lacey wraps her arms around Richie and lays her head on his back.

She realized that even though Richie was a trashmouth, he has a soft side, he just doesn't want to show it.

Lacey, feels, safe with Richie, safer than how she feels in her own house.

During the ride they were quiet, the bike ride wasn't long, but they were enjoying every second of it.

"Where here" Richie stops the bike but waits for Lacey to lean her head up.

They hop if the bike and drop it.

"Okay guys get everything but the delicious deal, my mom loves those things" Eddie says as Bill and Richie fills their bags with anything and everything from the kitchen.

Whilst in the living room, Lacey was talking with Ms.K, Eddie's mom.

"Eddie are these birth control pills?" Richie snickers opening and cabinet filled with medicine.

"Yeah, i'm saving them for Lacey, this is private stuff" Eddie stomps shutting the cabinets.

"Back off her" Richie shoves Eddie.

"C'mon Lacey!" Eddie quickly says trying to get out of the door before his mom could stop them.

"Eddie sweetie, where do you guys think you're going to?" She asks paying attention to painting her nails.

"T-to my b-back yard M-Ms. K i g-got a new u-uh" Bill struggles lying through his stuttering lips.

"A new croquet set! Jeez spit it out B-b-bill" Richie finishes the sentence cause Lacey to giggle.

"Okay well Eddie, careful not to roll around in the grass... you know how your allergies can get" She says staring at Eddie.

"yes ma'am let's g-" Eddie tries to leave but failed again.

"Eddie, aren't you forgetting something." His mother sings.

Eddie rolls his eyes while walking over to his mother.

He softly plants a kiss on her cheek earning giggles.

When Eddie makes it back to his friends Richie decided to make a nasty remark. "Would you like one from me to Ms. K i-" Richie is cut off. by laughs and Eddie pushing him out of the door.

"Sorry Mommy" Eddie says leaving his home, leaving his mom laughing at what Richie said.

The boys and Lacey meet Stan at his house and make their way to the sewers.

They park their bikes, up the hill from the wood they were located in.

As they make their way through the woods, Lacey grabs Richies shoulder.

"Hey when i asked what we were doing today, Bill seemed upset, you told me you would tell me what we were doing.

Richie sighs."Okay, so you know how Betty Ripsom is missing?" Richie asks. Lacey nods.

"Well a few months before she went missing, his little. either Georgie also went missing, and Bill had been looking for him since then, and he won't stop" Richie says seriously.

"wow i u-" Lacey is cut off by Eddies distant yells.

"Will you two stop making out we are almost at the sewers." Lacey rolls her eyes.

"Sorry Eds she can't keep her hands off of me!" Richie jokes causing "Lacey to scoff.

"That's poison ivy, that's position ivy, that pois-" Stan gets cut off labeling the non posion ivy.

"Where, where's the poison ivy!" Eddie freaks out.

"No where!" Richie scoffs. "Not every fucking plant is poison ivy stan!" Richie yells stepping into the sewer tunnel.

"You guys coming" Referring to Eddie and Stan who are still outside.

"Uh-uh" Its grey water" Eddie shakes his head. "What the hell is grey water?" Richie questions.

"Well, it's basically piss and shit, so i'm just telling you," Eddie holds his hands up in surrender.

"You're walking around in millions of gallon of derry pee" Eddie say in disgust.

Richie picks up a stick from the water and cautiously sniffs it.

"What are- are you serious?!" Eddie yells. "It doesnt smell like caca to me señor" Richie says in a spanish like accent.

"Ew.gross" Lacey whispers to Billy, as because they are the only two looking for clues.

"Have you have heard of a staph infection" Eddie argues.

"I'll show you a staph infection" Richie argues back pointing the stick towards Eddie.

"Hey a shoe!" Lacey yells pointing to a white shoe that is identical to hers.

Bill picks it up, unable to see the name on the inside.

"This is so insanitary, it's like swimming in a toilet bowl i'm serio-"

"Guys!" Bill cuts eddie off showing them the shoe.

"Don't tell me thats" stan says in worry.

"It-its not G-georgie's, he wore b-b-boots, i can't r-read the words Richie you-you have glasses" Bill says shining the light inside of the show.

"Holy shit" Richie turns towards eddie and stan. "It's Betty Ripsoms."

"Oh no, oh shit oh fuck! I'm not liking this." Eddie says slurring over his words.

"How do you think Betty feels, running around these tunnels with only one frickin shoe?!" Richie jokes.

"Not the time for jokes Richie!" Lacey yells, in worry.

Suddenly they hear a big slap sh coming from the creek(two baby craps and one big top hat, floating in a creeeeek, if you get that, we are getting married.) behind them.

They all run out of the tunnel to see a small chubby blonde boy with a bleeding stomach.

"Holy shit what happened to you" Richie calls out to the boy.

"Bowers" Is all he had to say before they all ran bikes.

Lacey hopped on with Richie and the new kid, was with Stan.

They all ride to the pharmacy to get supplies to fix up the boys wound.

"We need someone to keep watch" Eddie says.

"Um o-okay Richie you k-keep watch," Bill says pointing.

Richie sighs and throws his hands up in the air.

"C'mon Lacey!" Eddie says grabbing her hand and intertwining their fingers.

The amount of jealousy that went through Richie was weird for him. He's never felt so jealous.

"Glad, i got to meet you before you died." Richie remarks.

"Okay we are going to this, this, these, i guess these things-" Eddie struggles to hold all of the medical supplies that he was grabbing.

"A-are we go-going to h-have e-bough?" Bill asks.

Stan pulls out a crumpled up 5 dollar bill.

"Eddie don't you have an account here?" Stan asks.

"If my mom found out i was buying all this stuff for myself, I would have to spend an entire week in the emergency room being x-rayed." He says whispering.

"I have an idea" Lacey snaps her fingers running to the front seat.

"Hi, Mr. Keene." Lacey walks up to the counter.

"Lacey nice to see you again," He smiles.

"Mr. Keene, I love your glasses, I've always wanted to ask but, never mind."Lacey say almot walking away.

"No, what is it you want to ask?" He smiles. Creepy old perv.

Lacey sighs "Can I try them on, your glasses."

"Go right ahead sweetheart" He hands her the glasses.

"well what do you think?" She smiles. "wow." he chuckles. "you look like,Lois Lane"

"do i really?" Lacey let out a fake laugh. Mr.Keene nodded.

"Well here you go-" Lacey hands Mr.Keene's purposely knocking over a rack into the floor making it seem like an accident.

Lacey shakes her head in disappointment."I'm so sorry Mr.Keene"

He grabs his glasses,"No problem darling i'll get that" He says bending over to clean up the mess Lacey had "accidentally made"

She looks over to Eddie,Stan and Bill nodding giving them the signal to run out of the store.

They run out with all of the supplies Eddie had chose(n jacobs😉)

Lacey grabs a pack of camels(st reference) and shoves them into her skirt pocket.

"Well have a good day Mr.Keene!" She falsely smiles running out the door.

"There's my hot stuff where ya been?" Richie stands up, pushing his glasses up as well.

"She had to distract Mr.Keene so could get this shit" Eddie says struggling to open the gauze packets.

"Oh well, PIP PIP TALLEY O MY GOOD FELLOWS, GET IN THERE DR.K FIX EM UP!" Richie yells in a British accent.

"Why don't you shut the fuck up because i know what i'm doing and i don't want you do the british accent right now." Eddie says staring to patch Ben up.

"Hey Billy" Lacey says pulling him to the side.

"Hey, i'm sorry about yesterday, I didn't know about, Ge- your brother" Lacey whispers.

"N-no no, don't w-worry Lace h-he's alive, i can , c-can feel it," He smiles softly with a tear slowly dropping down his face.

"Bill" She says wiping his single tear away.

Richie, wasn't jealous this time, because he had seen the hurt in both of their eyes.

Lacey, she cared too much for others, way too much.

"We'll find him," Lacey smiles earning a smile from Bill.

Lacey and Bill joined the group again. "Hey i need a ride, my parents want me home before 8." Lacey signs standing in her tiptoes.

"I'll do it!" Richie jumps up. "Okay well then, bye guys! and feel better Ben!" Lacey brightly waves.

Lacey wraps her arms around Richie's waist and they pedal off home.

The ride from the pharmacy was a little bit longer. Since the sun was setting, the view and the hot summer air in Derry,Maine was the best feeling.

"Today was, interesting" Lacey says smiling on her tiptoes as Richie dropped her off.

"It was, but mine is about to get very boring." Richie says looking down at his wore out grey converse.

"Why is that?" Lacey frowns. "Well, i'm not with my friends, i'm leaving you and my fucking parents don't care" He says raising his voice a little.

"honestly same," Lacey says in a calm tone.

then she gets a bright idea. "what if" she snaps her fingers. "what if you stay with me tonight? i have video games and movies?" she asks.

"hell yes let's go!" Richie says dropping his bike.

"wait, you will need to sneak in, my parents would kill me if i brought a boy home, grab your bike and follow me."

Richie grabs his bike and follows Lacey behind her house. He hides his bike behind a bush.

"okay there's my window, i'll help you climb up when i get to my room" she says pointing to the top left window of the house.

She walks up her steps and walks in. Richie waits patiently. He hears yelling, and stomping.

Suddenly the window swings open.

"Okay climb that tree and stand on the roof" Lacey whispers.

Richie nods and does so. "Okay give me your hands" She holds her hands out.

"I thought you'd never ask" Richie smirks. Lacey playfully rolls her eyes and her a Richie's hands connect.

Lacey pulls Richie through the window as they both fall and Richie ends up on top of Lacey.

"I knew this would happen sooner or later," Richie smirks.

Lacey didn't playfully roll her eyes or anything, she was too lost in him.

Richie, his crooked smile, his dark eyes. Everything about him she became obsessed with.

His lips dark pink as they spoke" Lace are you ok-" Lacey cut Richie off with a kiss, so soft, she felt butterflies a feeling she never wanted to go away.
