Chapter 30

The air felt nice as she jumped to the side back and forth. "Ok, stretching time!"

She did whatever stretches she could remember and picked up some from the students around her. Her eyes passed through different students. She looked at the bleachers and people who filled literally every seat before scratching her head, it's more like a football match! The cheering class 1-A went out was intense.

She shook her head, "Focus Keira, it's time to win this."

Midnight came on stage announcing the beginning of the festival before inviting Bakugo for the opening speech as representative of class 1A. Midnight looks great but the outfit sure is something.. her eyes went to the side before she saw him go on stage, Ooh another main character, Bakugo! she smiled a bit knowing his next words.

"I pledge.. to be number one." The moment he uttered the words everybody started booing. Meanwhile Keira had to hold back from fangirling. Bakugo was such a jerk at the time but can't deny he's super cool!! She grinned before composing herself. He did a thumbs down, "At least become a nice bouncy step for me to jump off of." Keira glanced around as he got off the stage, Well everybody is fired up now.

Midnight whipped her flog thing before pointing to the screen, "All right, with that we can move directly onto our first event!"

Obstacle Race

All the students gathered up after this in front of the huge metal gate leading to stage 1 of the sports festival as Midnight continued,

"It's a race between all 11 classes! The course makes a nearly 4 km ring around this stadium!" Keira lingered at the back waiting for the right moment. "..On your marks..", This was season 2, she scratched her head trying to recall the events. The first stage is a race which should be very easy with teleportation.. gotta make sure I don't call too much attention now though-

"Start!!!" Midnight announced as the gate opened. The students pushed each other, everyone trying to get faster through. She winced as some people pushed her counting in her head.

Shouts came from all sides as the students wanted to reach first faster through the narrow gate. Then she felt it. She darted forward activating teleportation as the robots appeared.

She was now at the front of the crowd of students looking scared at the robots. Keira looked around before spotting him. Five, four, three-

An ice stream went over the robots freezing them before Todoroki Shouto went past them. Keira waited for a second till Bakugo and some students from class-A caught up before she teleported to the side running lightly.

She smiled as she ran. So far so good-

"As expected of those who've run past, lots are from class-A!!" Present mic's voice boomed all around.

She kept running before large rocks faced her connected by ropes.

"If the first barrier was a cinch, what do you think of the second?! You fall and you're out!! If you don't like that idea, maybe you can crawl!! It's.." She stepped forward taking a deep breath as present mic named this next barrier, ".. THE FAAAAALLLLLL!!!" She teleported to the rock in front before going the same way till she reached the other side. Keira panted, hands going on her knees as she gathered her breath.

I need to go to the gym. What the hell are these students eating?

She took another deep breath. Todoroki, Bakugo, and some hero students were already at the front so there was no need to hold back. She glanced one time at her hair making sure it's blonde before darting forward.

"And now we come to the hidden final barrier!! It's true form is none other than.. the mine field right out of rambo 3!" Present Mic's voice shot through the air.

Keira was at the start of the minefield before noticing him. "..Midoriya"

The green haired boy was focused with the metal scrap from the robots. Some students were already slowly going over-BOOM!

"Shit!" Keira jumped at the sound as the mines exploded making Midoriya fly ahead. Her eyes followed him.

"-Was it his plan or sheer coincidence?! Class-As Midoriya mounts his charge.. using shock waves?!!!" I hope I don't have a match against him later.. Her eyes watched his trajectory till-

"He overtook them! He overtook theeeem!!!" Present mic shouted out as the excitement coursed through the audience. Man, seeing this in real life.. Her eyes looked around all the students with their different quirks and Midoriya's move. She shook her head focusing.

Keira surveyed the field for a second. It's long.. Her hands reached out to her hair. I need to divide it, otherwise..

Her mind flashed to when her appearance shifted when she strained herself. She closed her eyes for a minute feeling her quirk. This is still so weird.. It was faint and flowing through her. Her energy. The glitches. She opened her eyes as she teleported. Some students eyes widened as she appeared right above before reappearing a bit more forward.

"We have a wildcard folks!! Class 1-C, Nishimura Kira, Quirk: Teleportation!! And she's catching up quickly to the three in the lead!!"

Her stomach lurched as she teleported consequently. Tingling started at her hands and legs as she pushed herself more. There was still 500 meters till the tunnel and she could see Bakugo, Todoroki fighting before getting distracted by Midoriya on top of them. He kicked off their backs before slamming the metal on the ground in front of them.

She disappeared appearing forward right as he slammed it. It's all or nothing!

"In no time at all Midoriya blew dust in their eyes and Nishimura teleported right through it!" And now they've both cleared the landmine area entirely!! Damn Eraserhead, your class is insane!! What are you teaching them?! And we seem to have a promising quirk in class 1-C!!"

She waited till they were at the tunnel before taking a minute to rest. Her hands clutched her head as ringing went through her ears. She saw some students passing her before her blurry vision focused on the end of the tunnel. She ignored the ringing running towards the end of the tunnel. I can do it. She pushed herself more. The tunnel opened up to the cheering audience and the sky.

I did it.. she grinned glancing at her blonde hair. And disguise intact, success!

She panted wiping the sweat off her forehead. "When was the last time I ran like this?" She chuckled exhalirated.

"And so it's over!" Midnight announced before pointing to the screen, "Now everyone, here are the results!" Keira glanced at the screen before her the corner of her lips quirked up a bit more, class 1-c, Nishimura Kira, 4th place.

Not bad.. Her hand clenched as she muttered under her breath, "One step closer.."
