Chapter 5

Keira stayed all night thinking about the weird reaction of the hero. She didn't know what happened to make him look at her like that. Maybe he was still processing.. 

The morning couldn't come fast enough. Keira woke Tenko up. He was wearing an All might onesie she got him as the surprise of last night. His face had sparkled and he smiled before tears fell again from his eyes. Keira had understood that it would be a long way before he got over his trauma. 

Something though had invaded her thoughts and she couldn't stop thinking about it. Sooner or later she would go back to her world, what would happen then? She didn't know, it filled her with guilt.. the thought of leaving him.

That's why I need to get All might to take care of him.. They went out of the hotel and started walking towards might towers. They were back in front of might gates. This time though, All might was waiting for them. Tenko's eyes widened and he looked at her before looking away guilty.. she scratched her head. What is this expression? I thought he would be happy.. hmm.. She kept watching him before leaning down, "Tencchan, This is the second part of the surprise. We're meeting All might!" Tenko looked at her before looking back at the hero who was waiting for them. They started walking until they were in front of him.

"HELLO YOUNG TENKO! I'VE HEARD A LOT ABOUT YOU FROM SHANE-SAN!" At this, the boy's eyes widened in wonder and red dusted his cheeks before he looked at the girl. "Really?" she nodded happily.

"Well then should we get inside?" he boomed carrying Tenko on his shoulders to which the boy's weird look changed into joy. They went inside and the might gates shut behind them. Keira was surprised by the amount of merch that were wrapped in gifts sitting on the table. She looked questioningly at All might. 

He rubbed the back of his neck sheepishly, "Ehem, well I thought young Tenko would like these when I saw them so.."

"Really All might?!" that was the said boy. All Might nodded before setting him down there in the middle of them before turning to Keira and gesturing for her to come to the side. As the boy started opening them, Keira went after All might away from him.

"What's up?" she said curiously. "Did you make sure he's the real Shimura Tenko?"

He nodded with a dark expression shadowing his smile, "Yes, and I heard about what happened to the Shimura family." She nodded sadly but then looked at him alarmed,

"You know he didn't do it on purpose right?" All might nodded.

"Of course! I can't believe this all happened to that poor boy. It pains me more that he's my master's grandson and to have to suffer that much." She couldn't find a word to say so she found herself nodding again. "What I want to say is.." he looked at her and she felt unable to move, "Thank you Shane-san. Without you, I wouldn't have known about this and who knows where the kid would've ended up. I can't tell you how much I am grateful to you." His eyes are really blue.. 

She felt her cheeks heat up, "No problem All right- I mean All might!" She smiled shyly making him chuckle. A question popped on her mind.

"So, what's going to happen to Tenko?" She truly had no idea.

"Well, do you want him to stay with you?" The question baffled her. "Me??" he nodded silently.

"I mean.." she looked at Tenko conflicted and at that moment the boy looked at her smiling. Her breath was taken as until now he hadn't truly smiled. "Yes." The word came out by itself but hearing it made it sound so true. "But, I can't. I.. I can't. I.. That's why I came to you, because I want to be sure that even when I'm gone" she teared her eyes away from him and looked to All might, "his future will be a happy one."

"What do you mean Shane-san?" He looked concerned at her words. 

She looked away from him before answering, "I'm not from thi--" She suddenly keeled over.

 "UGH!" 

Her heartbeat was all she could hear. Everything else became a blur. She didn't know what was happening but she knew it was not something nice. She started coughing and suddenly blood started coming out. She barely felt All might's arms around her carrying her outside. At that moment the only thing she could think about was.. How much have I.. changed the.. events?!! Yes.. that was a question she hadn't thought of until now. 

It seemed, the universe was screwing with her just like she screwed with it. She didn't know what was happening. The next moment, her eyes opened and she panted looking around. Where am I? What happened?! She blinked a couple of times.

"..nee-sa..! On..sa..!" Her gaze slowly went towards the breaking voice of little Tenko. She blinked a couple of times before slowly sitting up.

"Tencchan" The boy was wiping his tears looking down, but once he heard her voice, he ran towards her. She didn't understand what happened but she felt fine so that helped with ignoring it. The boy stood for a second beside the bed unsure of what to do before she opened her arms and he jumped at her.

"Wha..t happened *sniff* on..ee..san?" he sobbed clutching her shirt. She noticed there were no bandages and no injuries. Her attention returned to the boy who was still crying.

"It's okay Tencchan, I'm fine. C'mon now.." she smiled as he looked up at her. "Smile Tencchan. The strongest people are those who smile, kay?" she wiped his tears and hugged him. She looked up at the sound of the door opening.

"Shane-san! You gave us quite the scare, how are you now?" He took a few steps towards the bed. 

She smiled at him, "I'm great All Might." She rubbed her head sheepishly, "Sorry for worrying you heh. I don't even know what happened.. Last thing I remember is talking with you and then nothing."

"For now, let us return to Might towers and I will explain there." He glanced at Tenko then back at her before she nodded at him understanding. During the way, Keira noticed that there was nothing abnormal. She didn't even feel tired. There was something nagging her though. She couldn't put her finger at it but it kept poking her. They arrived in Might towers and soon she was back on the huge couch with Tenko beside her asleep. All might went to the kitchen and soon came back with tea.

"Thank you." He sat in front of her, his smile serious. "What happened All Might?"

He fidgeted and she had to fight her lips quirking up at the sight, "You.. glitched."

"Excuse me?" she snorted and he chuckled awkwardly, "you mean like a video game character?"

"YES!"

"Oh.." she sipped her tea, "shit."

After a couple of moments of explaining that she had coughed up blood, keeled over and started glitching, Keira had a bewildered expression on her face as she tried to quiet her mind. She looked up at him, "Uh, well.. what did the hospital say?"

His smile actually dimmed a bit, "They didn't know. One minute you were in a near comatose state, the next you're waking up normally."

She nodded before wincing, "well, there are some good news!" his smile returned fully.

"DO TELL!"

"I know why this happened." She winced even more, "and It's probably gonna happen again!"

"Please, do tell me your definition of good news." 

His voice dripped with sarcasm and she did not, for the life of her, understand how he remained smiling but looked sarcastic at the same time. She snickered, "Sorry it sounded better in my head somehow.." He sighed before looking at Tenko then looking at her.

"Did this happen before?" She shook her head and this time, she glanced at Tenko.

"It will happen again. I changed a lot of things.." she muttered the last part to herself but All might heard.

"What do you mean Shane-san?" He had masked his emotions well as he observed her face. She looked so sad and scared. She glanced at Tenko before looking at him, "Look, I don't know when, I don't know where, I don't know how I'll go. I've risked a lot of things coming here but it's all for him." She ruffled her hair, "Didn't think I was such a sap, but.." she glanced at the boy fondly, "I will take care of him as much as I can but then.." Keira looked at All might squarely, "..It will be your turn. All for one might be looking for him." He flinched and she knew she had dropped a huge bomb.

"All.. for one?!" he grit his teeth and different emotions flashed on his face as he stood up, "How do you know this? Who are you?!"

"Calm down All might!" she gulped at the sight of the man pacing around before looking at her, "Do you understand what you're saying?" She nodded looking to the side as he started pacing again.

"I'm sorry." He stopped moving as his head snapped towards her.

"What for?"

She shrugged still looking away, "Don't know, Just felt like I needed to say it." And he could almost imagine Nana sitting in front of him. Her side profile looked just like her and the hero thought dryly if fate was playing a cruel joke on him. The truth was Keira had felt like apologizing. She knew what had made her blurt out the word.

This is All Might pre-injury. He is at his best. The thought had struck her when they went back from the hospital as he sat in front of her. She realized she had been waiting for him to get strained, to run away. Anything to indicate that he was running out of time. But then, she realized he didn't have the injury. He hadn't fought with All for One yet and then.. she felt so sad.

"Shane-san." She looked up, her thoughts becoming background. He had come to a decision. "I want you to stay here, you and young Tenko." She blinked once, twice..

"HUH?!"
