Chapter 16: Last Date

~Elise's POV~

"Wait you two know each other?" 

I turn my head over my shoulder to see Aaron staring at me. "We...I, we um." 

Suddenly I get cut off by a loud voice behind me. "Very well. Now that you all know our subjects, Jeanne you get Daesung, Aaron you have Seungri, Amber you get Taeyang, Tim you get G-Dragon, and uh you get," She looks around the room and looks at Seung Hyun before pointing at him carelessly. "You get TOP." 

My eyes travel over at him then look away quickly. "Alright! Split up and get to your stations." 

Quickly after she leaves the room, her heels clicking behind her, an assistant turns on some upbeat music to get us all in a good mood. "See you later." Aaron smiles before sliding his hand on my forearm and to my wrist. I smile then turn as I hear someone else come up behind me. "Ready?"

I meet his eyes as his deep silky voice drains my ears from all other sounds. "Yeah." I stutter before he leads us both to an empty space. A white curtain hangs from the ceiling as the backdrop, and a makeup artist sits to the side in case he needs any touch ups. As he walks in front of me and I stop, he brushes his shoulder up against my side. And of course, every little thing about him I love so I couldn't yell at him for being cute. 

The first few shots I take are of him with his face angled down at the floor with his eyes glaring up at the camera. "TOP please smile." I say to him after checking the pictures on the computer to my side. "Like this?" He says as he drags the ends of his mouth up expressionlessly. "No an actual smile." I whimper in attempt to stop my laughter from escaping my mouth. He smirks at me evilly before stepping back a few inches then glances at  the floor. I put my camera up to my face and stare through the lens as I wait for him to be ready. Suddenly he looks up at the camera, his eyes crossed and his tongue poking out of his mouth, which was blown up like a bubble. I burst out in laughter and set down the camera. "Yah! Seung Hyun, act cute for the camera!" I laugh as I walk over to him and move him towards better lighting. He brings his face closer to mine, his eyes glaring at me sweetly. "Are you saying I'm never cute." 

I look down, away from him and reply sheepishly. "You are cute but I mean...be cuter." 

He chuckles then grabs my hand and steps back slowly. "Go take pictures."

I smile and do as told. Something about his skin brushing against mine made me feel like electricity was surging through every one of my bones. My finger slides against the bumpy surface of the table before I grab the black Nikon and hold it back up to my face. Within seconds of taking pictures of what I thought was supposed to be serious, he decides to throw silly faces at me like hand grenades. Each face better than the last. He puts his palms on his cheeks and forms his lips into an 'o' shape. "You look so silly!" I laugh before the flash of the camera goes off. "Why are you acting so childish?" I giggle with a smile. "I'm just so happy you're here."

I look down at the floor in embarrassment. Seung Hyun you huge idiot.

He chuckles then begins his next pose.

A sweet smirk that allows his sophistication to shine through.

Suddenly he holds his hand up to block his face from the camera."Elise, can we talk?" He asks mid-shot. The camera slowly descends from my face and to the table next to me. "Sure." He steps closer then leads us both to the back wall. "Yeah?"

"I miss you." His hand holds onto my arm gently. I pull away as a rush of sad memories flood my mind. "Seung Hyun, I can't, I'm sorry. Not now." I turn to walk away from him but he pulls me back and holds the sides of my face. "Doesn't it feel like our time is running out? So what do you say, let's take off and live the rest of our lives alone together?" He says suddenly, tears filling his eyes. "I-"

"Elise, you've been playing around too much with that boy. Tim switch with Elise!" A voice yells from behind us. We both turn to see the blonde storming off. "We can talk later, right?"

"I don't know."

"Elise? Hi, I'm Tim. You'll be switching to G-Dragon." The man says as he approaches me and shakes my hand. "G-Dragon?" I murmur as I glance in his direction. Without warning both of our eyes meet and I rush over to him. "Jiyong. Hi, sorry I was-"

"No its okay. Can I get a back shot?" He asks shyly. I nod with a small smile and he turns to face the back. His head glances over his shoulder, jawline defined and lips slightly parted. Damn he's good at this.

I pick up a camera and begin snapping shot after shot. Pose after pose, and smile after smile. "I take it that you've never got to photograph celebrities?" He asks as he moves slowly towards the computers to see his pictures. I glance up at him from the screen and nod silently. He sighs lightly and bites his lip. "I was uh wondering if maybe, I could take you out to eat?"

My eyes shoot up to his in shock. "Today?" I stutter my eyes wide from confusion. "Yes. I-Is that alright?" He quickly adds in. His face filled with worry and hope. I giggle and nod my head. "Yeah, why not?"

"Great. Uh, do you like sushi?" His smile widens even more. "I love sushi." He adjusts his baseball cap, eyes pasted on the floor to avoid eye contact. Was he blushing? The famous Jiyong blushing like a little boy? How cute!

"Awesome. Well shall me continue?"

I flash a toothy smile before replying. "We shall."

~TOP's POV~

"TOP please smile." She says sternly, her jaw clenched tightly. TOP? She never called me that...

Suddenly a thought pops into my mind. If I can't make a smile without seeing hers, then I'll just have to make her smile myself, and I know exactly how.

I quickly drag the corners of my mouth out to form a scary grin. "Like this?" I mutter, my voice muffled by my fingers. As expected she bursts out in laughter, a laugh that brings joy to my ears. Jackpot. I continue making faces, each laugh I gain gives me hope for our future. "Why are you acting so childish?" she laughs sweetly. "I'm just so happy you're here."

She blushes almost instantly before facing the floor in embarrassment. That's it, she's shown too much aegyo. I block my face with my hand just before the shutter goes off.  "Elise, can we talk?" I say plainly.

She removes the camera from her face and gives me an odd look. "Sure." She sets down the camera before telling the other crew members that she would be back in a minute. "Yeah?"

I hold her arm softy. At first all I can do is just look at her. Maybe its the way her green eyes can hypnotise anyone to make them forget about everything that's on their mind. Or the way she looks at me. Her smile? She's just too perfect.

"I miss you."

She stares at me blankly. Her green eyes examining mine like a radar. "I can't do this." She whispers, her voice weak and shaky. Almost sounds like disappointment.

"Elise you're switching to G-Dragon. Tim will take your place." A voice yells from behind us both. I turn my body to see the director of the photo shoot. "We can talk later, right?"

"I don't know." She mumbles before walking away towards Jiyong.  I glace over to the member, and oddly enough he's staring in my direction. He blinks before quickly diverting his attention to something else. "Hey, I'm Tim. Since we only have 10 minutes left and you've gotten most of your shots done," He looks up from the screen on his camera before continuing. "We can do a few serious ones."

I nod as I step towards the  backdrop.

He takes a few shots of me staring to the side or directly at the lens but suddenly something interrupts us all. "Attention! We have to start packing up. The boss wants us to print these out ASAP!"

I turn towards the girl, then at Elise. She was smiling down at her lap. Something she does when she's with me, but this time with Jiyong. 

"Elise!" I yell from where I stand. She snaps her neck in my direction. Her eyes wide and mouth open. Sh*t. I turn my head away before shoving past a group of photographers angrily. Jiyong was flirting with her. Definitely. 

As I turn around the corner, into an empty hallway someone follows up from behind me."You did good today."

I did well? I'm depressed. My heart's broken and the only girl who understands me is being hit on by my best friend. Tell me again how I'm doing well.

I clear my throat before answering. "Thank you." The girl nods and flicks her blonde hair off her shoulder. "It's been a pleasure working with Big Bang. We hope to work with you again." She smiles brightly as she holds out her hand for me to shake. I attempt to smile but I can't. Not in my state of mind. "The pleasure is mine." I reply before reaching my hand out to meet hers. Just then Daesung, Seungri, and Taeyang emerge from the doorway. "Let's go."

I walk away from the girl and to my younger members. "Where's Jiyong?" I grit my teeth after I say his name. "He's going out to eat with someone, it was a short notice date according to him."

I need to stop that date from happening.
