Finally back

After a while we finally made it to Hogwarts. We continued talking for the rest of the journey as well as getting changed in the bathroom.

We walked off the Hogwarts Express and I saw Sophia over with Hagrid. She met each other's eyes and waved to each other before going out separate ways. We get on a carriage as it makes its way to the castle.

We got there eventually and walked to the great hall. It was lit dimly with candles as per usual. i had a moment of Deja vu. I was back at the place I called my home away home. I felt Draco grab my  hand and led me to the Slytherin table. We sat down in our usual seats.

I looked up to the teachers table. I saw the usual like Hagrid, Professor McGonnagal, Professor Sprout, Professor Trelawney, Professor Flitwick, but then I saw a familiar face at the teachers table.

Professor Remus Lupin.

He has been my favourite Defence Against the Dark Arts teacher so far. Whenever I had a problem he would help me to the best of his ability. Despite me being a Slytherin, we got on really well. He's was there when no one else was, well except for Draco of course.

He was a family friend, seeing as he is married to Draco's second cousin, Sirius Black.

Sirius gets on well with Andromeda and Narcissa, not the rest. It's very complicated.

I our eyes met and we exchanged a smile. He turned to the teachers and I turned back to the boys, "so it seems my dad lied and this Umbridge person isn't the new teacher, Lupin's back!" I said as a smile spread across my face.

They all just looked at me like I was crazy and carried on talking amounts themselves. That's nice of them. I sat there impatiently, waiting to get this show on the road.

Soon enough, Dumbledore talked a bit then the new first years entered. My eyes were immediately met with Sophia's. We exchanged smiles and a wave. After a couple of people, her name was called.

"Sophia Lestrange"

Hold up. Draco has a cousin! I looked over to Draco and he was just as shocked as I was to find out he has a cousin. I quickly pushed that out of my head and focussed on Sophia getting sorted.

"Slytherin!" The sorting hat yelled.

She walked over and sat in the seat next to me and she hugged me, "Welcome to Slytherin!" I exclaimed as she pulled away from our embrace.

After the feast we were all walking back to the common rooms earlier than usual. I walked with Draco on on side of me and Tom and Blaise on the other. Sophia was ahead with the other first years, walking at the back of the group. Once we got to the dungeons, everyone went to their assigned rooms.

Luckily this time we were in pairs and I got paired with Tracey Davis. She a very sweet girl compared to Daphne, Pansy and the others.

After finding everyone's rooms, we all got changed into pyjamas which were an emerald green crew neck, and some Nike pro shorts.. I walked back down to the common room where I saw the boys and a few of each year were around, including Sophia. I walked over and sat next to Draco, which he then pulled me into his lap.

"I didn't even know I had a cousin" Draco admitted, "I didn't even know Bellatrix was pregnant or anything"

"I'm going to ask her who her mum is" I said and he nodded in agreement, "Sophia, come here a second" she got up from the desk she was at and walked over to me and stood in front of me.

"What's up?" She asked.

"Just out of curiosity, what's your mothers name?" I asked her.

"Bellatrix Lestrange" she responded. So she was Draco's cousin, "is that all?" She asked.

"Yes it is, thank you" I responded. Once she was out of earshot I turned to Draco, "oh my Merlin she is your cousin! I knew it!" I whisper shouted.

"I know. We probably shouldn't tell her now, it might overwhelm her, especially if it's her first day" he said. He seemed so caring. He really does love his family.

I straddled Draco's lap and put my forehead on his, "you're gonna make a wonderful father someday, with how you can be so caring" I whispered. We both smiled.

"You're gonna be an amazing mother one day, with what I saw on the train, I got that feeling, right then and there" he whispered. We both smiled before our lips connected for a few seconds before pulling away.

When we pulled away, I put my head in the crook of his neck and he wrapped his arms around my waist. After ten or so minutes the prefects were practically yelling at the remaining students to get to bed so that's what we did. I said goodnight to Tom and Blaise then messed Draco goodnight. I walked up the stairs and along to corridor to my dorm. I opened to door to see Tracey staring in the direction of the door.

"So you and Draco, it's true" she smirked. What does she mean true? I bet those snakes told everyone but it's not a big deal. It's just what they said that matters.
