Truth or dare gone weird

We all moved to the chairs. Blaise, Daphne and Draco sat on the corner sofa. Tom Pansy and I sat on the normal sofa.

"I'll go first" Pansy said, "Nova, truth or dare"

"Truth"

"Are you on the pill?" She asked.

"Yep" I said filled with confidence.

"Why though?" Pansy asked. I knew this wasn't part of the truth but why not?

"Because of the two idiots who have hooked up with almost half the slytherin girls in our year and also my mum knows what can happen at Hogwarts" I explained and we all laughed, "okay, Tom truth or dare?"

"Truth"

"What's your body count?" I asked.

"Seven" he replied. It sounded reasonable, "Daphne truth or dare?"

"I'll be brave so dare"

"I dare you to kiss Zabini passionately for one minute" he smirked. His eyes flicking from her to Blaise.

Daphne got up and straddled Blaise and Draco got off the sofa and stood next to the one I was on with Tom and Pansy. She cupped Blaise's face and he held his hands on her waist. She pulled him in and their lips connected. His hands traveled down to her ass and back again, repeating for the majority of the minute.

"Okay that's a minute" I said but they continued, "get a room!" I yelled.

They pulled away and Daphne returned to her seat next to him and Draco sat back in his place.

After a couple more people had their turns, it was Draco's turn.

"Draco, truth or dare?" Blaise asked.

"Dare" he responded with no hesitation.

"I dare you to kiss Nova" he said.

Draco and I immediately looked at each other with wide eyes. On the inside I was hoping he was up to it but on the outside I showed the opposite emotion.

"So you are telling me" Draco started, "I have to kiss my best friend who I have known since she was born?" He looked at Pansy.

"Yes, that's exactly what I said" she responded.

"Okay" he shrugged. My eyes went even wider than the were before and my jaw dropped to the floor. He was actually up to it.

He stood up and so did I and we walked to the middle of the room. He pulled me in and kissed me and I kissed back. After a second or two we pulled away. We stared into each other's eyes for a second then pulled back in. He put his hands on my waist and I put mine around his neck. We continued for around ten seconds when Pansy stopped us.

"Okay I said kiss not make out" she said and they all chuckled. They were all shocked about Draco's reaction and that we actually followed through with it.

I walk back to my seat kind of stunned and sit down. I just kissed Draco and he was willing to do it. But what if he only did it for the dare and he didn't actually like me like that.

The rest of the night we spent just talking and gossiping but the kiss Draco and I shared wouldn't leave my mind. It lingered in my head until all of a sudden we were talking about it.

"I have to say, you two must like each other to kiss again after your dare" Daphne said. I felt my cheeks grow warm and I looked down slightly.

"What about you four? You clearly like each other" I said and they all stayed quiet, "that's what I thought"

We continued the conversation on a different topic until the night came to an end around half past ten that evening. They all went back to the Zabini Manor.

Draco and I sat there for a few minutes. Should I tell him how I feel? Does he even feel the same way? He must've felt something if he was willing to kiss me. Those were all thoughts that ran through my mind repeatedly until he spoke up.

"So... the kiss" he started, "I meant it"

I looked at him with a confused expression on my face, "what do you mean?"

"I meant to kiss you. I wanted to kiss you Nova... and I have for a while" he explained.

"I have too" I said with a smile, "anyway it's getting late, I'm going to head to bed" I stood up and started walking out the room when I felt hands pull me by the waist and turn me around.

Before I could even process what was happening, my lips were connected to his and he was kissing me and I kissed back. After around twenty seconds I pulled away before we did anything else.

"See you tomorrow" I said and I continued to walk up to my room.

As I walked up the stairs, it hits me. I just confessed to Draco that I like him. This is only going to make everything so awkward. I decided to focus on getting to bed. I got to my room and grabbed a black sports bra and black shorts and went to my bathroom to get changed. I got changed, took off my makeup, put my hair in a high ponytail and brushed my teeth.

I walked back into my room and laid down in bed without the covers because it was quite warm. I lay awake thinking about the kiss. What do we do now? Do we pretend nothing happened? Do I say something? All these tho it's were swirling around in my mind.

By this point it was one o'clock in the morning. I was too awake to fall asleep. I got up and walked downstairs and got a glass of water. I sat down on a bar stool at the counter with my head in my hands as I think about what happened a few hours ago.

I hear footsteps coming from the stairs. I look up and see Draco walking over in only grey sweatpants once again.

"Nova? What are you doing up so late?" He asked. He walked over and sat next to me.

"Too much on my mind, what about you?" I asked as I turned to look at him.

"Same here" he said. It was silent for a moment before I chuckled at a memory, "what are you laughing at?"

"This is super random, but remember the story of when we were babies and our parents couldn't get us to sleep and my mum had the crazy idea of putting us in the same cot to stop us crying, so they tried it and it worked" I burst out laughing.

He started laughing, "yeah I remember that story. We stopped doing that when we were like what... eleven when you got your Hogwarts letter because we would be separated" he said and we continued to laugh.

"This is a crazy idea... but what if we tried that again. I know we are a lot older but who knows. I mean it worked for ten years" I looked him in the eyes. His eyes met mine, causing butterflies.

He smiled, "I mean why not? It did work so maybe it will again. Come on, let's go to your room" he said and we both stood up. He wrapped an arm around my shoulder and we walked upstairs to my room.

We got to my room and I opened the door we walked over to my bed and we laid on my bed on top of the covers because it was hot and he pulled me close to him and stroked my hair. After a few minutes I was half asleep with my eyes closed and Draco must have thought I was asleep.

"I love you darling" he whispered.

I was too tired to function, "I love you too" I mumbled right before falling asleep and a few minutes later, he did too.
