|A MONTH HAD PASSED and the nature had welcomed the cruel, cold days of January followed by the angelic snow which was seen draped over the land of Tokyo, hiding the green.

Time had changed, your aunt actually listened to you and let you and Makiko stay together but only under one condition : No boys allowed.

When you told the news of your aunt asking you and your cousin to join her- to Keisuke, he freaked out but after informing him that you weren't leaving along with aunt Yuriko, he looked relieved.

And as for Toman... you were still the member of Tokyo Manji Gang. At first the certain ravenette refused to join the gang and announced that he will not join Toman as long as Tetta Kisaki is the member but when Valhalla merged with Toman, he realised that it was okay for him to join the gang, though, he still kept an eye on Kisaki.

Mikey and everyone were grateful that they had Takemichi in their team, so as an honour to him, they gave him his own division and you were the vice captain of his 7th division.

You headed towards the ravenette's home with a smile on your face as you climbed the stairs, almost skipping two stairs in the process. The material inside your hand bag made the most of sound, echoing in the quiet building.

Finally, you stood in front of the familiar door and held your hand up higher to give it a knock.

Knock knock. Your knuckles hit the door twice, announcing your arrival.

A while later, the door was pulled open revealing Mrs. Baji who was wearing a huge smile on her face, as though she had been expecting you. Maybe Keisuke told her.

"Good evening, Mrs. Baji." you greeted with a polite smile on your face.

"Good evening, Y/N!" she responded then gestured you to come in and you obliged. "Keisuke is inside his room." she informed.

You bowed as a 'thank you' and made your way towards your beloved 'friend's' room. Sudden butterflies erupted inside your stomach as you grew excited to see the beauty existing the other side of the door where you now stood in front of.

Your knuckles, once again knocked at the door and then heard his voice. "Come in."

At the indication your fingers grasped the doorknob and twisted it, then pushing the door open only to find the raven haired male seated on the futon which was placed on the floor with a mini table beside it. Upon the table was a scattered mess of Keisuke's study material accompanied by the two empty bags of potato chips.

You watched the scene with both of your eyebrows raised in disbelief.

Baji lifted up his head to look at your form which was frozen near the door and seemingly not moving an inch.

"Why are standing over there?" he questioned, as he too, raised an eyebrow. "Come here." he motioned his hand towards another futon which was resting beside his'.

Your feet moved, taking you towards where he motioned you to sit. "I was watching this hell." your finger pointed towards the mess and now that the scene was up close, you could even see some spilt juice on it.

A heavy sigh escaped past your lips and you declared, "I'm not studying in this mess." the corner of your upper lip lifted up in disgust.

Keisuke paid no mind and continued to eat the potato chips from another packet causing you to narrow your eyes at him. You snatched the empty packets away from the table and and dumped them down in a small dustbin in his room. You then grabbed the scattered mess from the table and dumped it down on the floor and then tore a useless page from your math, rough notebook and wiped the table with it before throwing it in the dustbin as well.

After that you placed the notebooks and other equipments neatly on the table before making Keisuke's half finished packet of potato chips your target and grabbing it as well, putting your free hand on your waist as you looked down at him while you were stood on your feet.

The ravenette's fingers grazed the empty wooden table and that caused him to raise his head and glare at you. "Give me back my chips." he demanded sticking his palm forward in order for you place the item on it.

You thoughtfully placed your index finger on your chin, tapping it and then answered, "Hmmm, lemme think.." you dropped your hand by your side and then gave him a blank look. "No."

Seating on the futon beside Keisuke's you placed the packet far away from his reach.

"I hate you." He mumbled and went back to write something in his notebook.

Your eyebrow raised and you were quick to reply, "That's not what your actions told me at the hospital." after the words were heard by the boy beside you, you realised that you had indeed commited a mistake.

You quickly cleared your throat and said, "Anyway... Let's start the English essey." your eyes flickered towards the ravenette and noticed his cheeks coated in a bright red colour which caused the thumping of your heart to increase.

"Y-yeah." He pushed his notebook towards you and you inspected his writing which had improved a lot since you two met but not much to your surprise, the spelling errors were still there.

"I beg your parada?" you said with a look of deadpan as you met his gaze.

"What?"

You sighed. "It's I beg your pardon, not I beg your parada." you corrected.

"Same thing." He waved you off causing you to roll your eyes.

The two of you studied for about an hour before Mrs. Baji decided to to make her presence known. Opening the door she informed, "I'll be going for the shopping so take care of the home, Keisuke," her eyes then travelled towards me, "And no funny business."

"Mom!" the ravenette yelled with red face and his mom shut the door without saying anything.

Then, there was an awkward silence.

At the words you two shared glances with mutual shyness held within the eyes for each other.

You cleared your throat. "I think we should take a break. what do you say, Edward?"

Keisuke frowned at the nickname which he thought was forgotten. "Stop with that name."

"Okay, Ed." you teased and it seemed to work.

"Whatever you say, Bella." He rolled his eyes then his face fell into slight puzzlement. "Wait, does that mean we're soulmates?"

All the blood rushed towards your face as you avoided the eye contact and said, "Um,I guess. who knows?" this is the opportunity, express your feelings y/n, you can do it. Be brave.

From the corner of your eyes, you saw him stretch, trying to shrug off the exhaustion and shifted towards the bed, leaning his back against it. Then he noticed you and patted the spot on the floor beside him.

You eyed the spot but hesitantly crawled towards the spot and did the same, then only resisting an urge to let a sigh escape. Your back was aching.

"Do you want to watch a movie or something?" he asked, staring ahead as he rested his arm on the bed, just above your head.

"No. I just want peace."

He nodded at that.

Then what he did was unexpected. Slowly, he rested his head on your shoulder, catching you off guard.

You sat straight, unmoving. Maybe you were scared that if you move he'd lift his head up and that caused your breathing to become irregular.

"Am I making you uncomfortable?" he asked softly, with with tone of genuine concern which made your heart warm.

"No." you replied. Should I confess? Should I? Or should I not? What if he rejects me or friend-zones me, or even worse.. sister zones me?

Silence took over and so did the newly found courage over your body. You lifted your hand up and brushed the few strands of his dark hair away from his face causing him to raise his head and state deeply into your eyes.

Your breath caught in your throat when he sat straight. Guess I just got rejected.

You stared at your lap with your lips formed in a barely recognisable pout, with your face pulled into a frown.

"I-I think I'm gonna go home now." you announced and just as you were about to stand up, he pulled you towards him and pinned you against the bed and at the very same spot where you were seated.

"Keisuke.." your voice came out in a whisper as you stared at him wide eyed.

His large palm found its way over to your cheek while you were still pinned against the bed.

"I hope you don't mind." his hoarse voice entered your ears making your heart pound furiously in your ears as the heat crept over its way to your cheeks.

He then leaned in very slowly, as though giving you a chance to push away but you didn't and instead you closed your eyes shut. Hot breath fanned over your face, it was hotter than the sensation which already took over your body and it was the type of feeling which you craved.

Then there was the moment when he closed the distance completely and pressed his warm lips against yours, unmoving, as he savoured the new feeling. He too fluttered his eyes shut and began to move his lips upon yours.

The two pairs of lips moulded into each other's as though there was no other pair they would fit in and their hearts raged inside their chests in sync as though, no other heart could even compete. Even if it was just the start, the raven haired male could easily say that he was already addicted.

Out of breath the two slowly pulled apart. Your lips didn't even wait a second as they murmured, "I love you."

You were still avoiding this eye contact but soon looked up at his face when you received no response. Fear was the one thing which controlled your body.

But the latter feeling disappeared when you saw the male smiling."I love you."

And you'll never stop loving him.

Literally, my sole purpose to write this story was to save Baji, I love writing angst but I love Baji more, so there's no point in writing a Keisuke Baji fanfiction if you're just going to kill him off at the end since... yk (imo).
