"BAJI KEISUKE." YOU MUMBLED staring at him in utter amazement.

"Listen up losers," he began, raising his voice, "In our gang, if one of our friend gets hurt, we'll stomp the hell outta whatever gang did it." he threatened the hooligans with a deadly look on his face.

"So remember," he continued, "They're my friends, do anything to them again.. And we'll wipe your whole gang out!" he yelled out the last part, loud, clear and enough to make them all flinch.

"Yes sir!" they all shouted with a terrified look in their eyes and left the place immediately.

Baji stayed silent for a while after the scene and then directed his gaze at you causing you to blink.

"I never caught your name." he said raising an eyebrow.

"Y/N... Y/N L/N!" you replied quickly.

He grinned with his eyes closed, "Chifuyu.. L/N.." he began, "Do you guys like peyoung yakisoba?"

You and Chifuyu exchanged glances before yelling a, "Yes!"

The two of you followed Baji without any interrogation as he led you towards his home, mentioning his love for the Peyoung yakisoba on the way.

"By the way..you can call me Y/N." you said out of blue.

Baji, who was walking a few steps ahead of you both took a glance at you and replied, "Alright then, Y/N."

You gave him a small smile.

"I live on the fifth floor of that building." he informed, pointing at the building,"Come on over." he said to the both of you.

"For real?" Chifuyu looked at him, surprised, "I live on the second floor of that building!" he mentioned with a childlike enthusiasm.

I think they don't lie when they say "the world is small".

Baji chuckled a bit, "Wow we live in the same apartment building," he said with a grin.

"Y-yeah!"

"That's amazing." You quipped in.

Baji nodded, still wearing a smile.

You entered the building wordlessly and kept walking until Baji stopped in front of the door. Pushing it open, "I'm home." he announced making his way inside of the apartment.

The two of you followed like lost puppies.

You and Chifuyu joined Baji in the living room as he began searching for peyoung yakisoba through the cabinets then groaning in frustration after finding out that there was only one left.

"Mom!" he called.

His mom entered the living room. She looked exactly like Baji, but with softer features and thinner eyebrows.

"We've only got one peyoung left!" he complained.

His mom ignored him completely as she focused on the two unfamiliar teenagers sitting in front of her. She blinked once or twice then suddenly broke into a smile, "You both must be Kiesuke's friends right?"

You and Chifuyu immediately stood up from your spots.

"I'm Chifuyu Matsuno, nice to meet you!" he said with a bow, introducing himself.

"It's a pleasure to meet you! I'm Y/N L/N." you said mimicking Chifuyu's actions.

"Nice to meet you too, Chifuyu, Y/N." her eyes crinkled as she smiled warmly at the two teenagers.

Baji tapped his finger on the table and repeated, "We have only got one Peyoung left mom!"

"deal with it." she said simply, exiting the room.

"Th-that's okay." stuttered Chifuyu waving his hands frantically in front of him.

"Yeah," you agreed, "You can have it."

He lifted the box in front of him and decided, "Lets split it."

"So, why do you wear such thick glasses when your vision is alright?" you asked chewing on your yakisoba.

Chifuyu nodded his head looking back and forth at Baji and you.

"That's because my friends told me told that wearing glasses would make me smarter." he admitted.

Chifuyu quickly gulped down his food and bursted out laughing, slamming the table in the process.

"And... And you believed them?" you asked suppressing your own laughter.

"Well..yeah?" he said, angrily chewing the yakisoba and gulping down the water afterwards.

Chifuyu laughed even harder and this time you couldn't help but join in with him.

"And I think it helped!" he said defending himself. Blood came rushing to his cheeks and needless to say, it was not because of the high amount of spice in his favourite food.

"You cannot be serious."

"I am." he lied.

The minute he noticed you two showing the signs to burst into yet another fit of laughter he warned cracking his knuckles, "Don't even dare ."

"Okay, okay." Said Chifuyu, trying to hide his grin.

"If you're struggling with the studies then I can help you with that." you offered, finally finishing the contents in your plate.

His ears perked up, "You will?"

You nodded.

"We can start with the English homework right now," you suggested but then quickly added, "if you want."

Chifuyu eyed both of his friends and smiled to himself, "I think I should get going. I'm getting late for something." he said, getting up slowly.

"Damn, okay then." said Baji, now standing up himself.

"Already?" you said, joining the two guys as well.

"Yeah." With that he bid his farewell and left the apartment in a hurry.

Odd.

Baji stared at you for a moment, "Lets get started!" he said enthusiastically and you nodded matching his energy.

Not even 15 minutes later Baji was already complaining about how hard and confusing English was.

"I suck at English," he said fixing up his glasses.

This guy really dressed up as a nerd just to study.

You sighed at the raven haired guy, "It's not even halfway done yet." you said frowning at him.

"I need a break." was all he said. Seriously?

"I wonder why your glasses aren't working anymore." you said sarcastically which was enough to piss off the first division caption of some gang.

He glared at you but you shrugged it off.

You two continued to study for the next 20 minutes until you noticed the time.

Your eyes widen. You're so dead.

"I didn't even notice the time!" you said picking up your backpack and frantically packing the materials inside it, " It's already too late and I need to be at home." you explained Baji whose face was contoured with perplexity.

You two exited the room, making your way towards the door which caused Baji's mom to notice.

"You're leaving, sweetie?" she asked.

You nodded in a hurry, returning the gesture. "Yeah, I should get going now-"

but before you could finish the sentence, Baji's mom interrupted, "It's really dark outside, I think Keisuke should accompany you." she suggested.

Baji nodded without hesitation.

"No, Mrs--." you tried to reason but yet again, you were interrupted, and this time it was by Baji himself.

"Shut up. I'm going to accompany you." he announced, leaving no room for argument.

You stared at him for a few seconds but then nodded. Baji's mom smiled at two of you as you both exchanged goodbye's before you followed Baji, who was already waiting by the door.

You joined him as you heard him mutter, "Lets get going."
