Jae was sitting near her husband. It's been two days and things were not looking clear for Hwan. He opened his eyes but was unable to speak. There were tubes and catheters running through his nose, mouth and other body parts. Doctor Song was checking up on Hwan. "How's he, doctor?" Jae asked sadness evident in her voice.

"He is fine. We can discharge him within a couple of days. But he needs proper care and attention."

Jae broke down in tears. Her mind was in a mess. She was born between her husband and her son. She wondered why Jin was doing all this. She needed to talk to Jin. She took out her mobile and began dialling her son.

"Jin..."

"Eomma, what is it?"

"Where are you?"

"At Kim Mansion with Hobi."

"Come to the hospital", Jae whispered.

"What is it eomma?"

"What do you mean, why? Just come. I need to talk to you", Jae said.

"Okay."

"And Jin...make sure you are alone". Jae insisted.

"Okay". Jin said as he hung up the phone. He knew what it was all about. His mother would want to know what happened and why did he do that.

"Who is it hyung? Is it Eomma? Is it Appa, is he okay?", Hoseok asked. Tae and Yoongi were handling at KJM Cybersecurity. They asked Hoseok to take few days off. Hoseok didn't want to leave the hospital but upon everyone's insistence he came back to rest.

"It's no one Hobi. You need sleep. Have some warm milk."

"But hyung."

"Hobi...I know with all that is going on, you might feel stressed. But trust me, things will be fine." Jin sighed as he took a deep sigh. "I can't believe Jimin did something like that. I know he hated me but not you...how can he do this to you...to appa, who made him COO? Its not like I asked my ownership back. I am so sorry Hobi."

"No Hyung...its not your fault.", Hobi sighed. His mind was reeling with all the information. He couldn't bring himself to believe Jimin could do something like this. His gut just didn't digest that one of his best friends can do this. Of all the people, he knew Jimin had his back. "I don't know what to believe".

"Its okay Hobi, I understand. Now look, don't worry about Appa. He is my father too. Trust me, he will be fine. Here take this."

"What is it?", Hoseok asked.

"It's a relaxant. Will help you sleep."

"No..Hyung..I don't want it....and why are you taking this?"

Jin got up from the bed. "I...I couldn't sleep much since that day...that's why I tried to end myself. The pain was unbearable, Hobi. From time to time, I still can't sleep. There are just so many thoughts. That's why I still carry them." Jin sniffled.

"Jin Hyung...don't say that. I don't want you to take any pills...please...look whatever you are going through, I am here for you. We all are there. You don't need this." Saying that Hobi took the bottle and threw it in the bin.

"But Hobi..."

"No..hyung..I don't want you to get addicted to all of this. Its dangerous." Hoseok made Jin sit on the bed. "Hyung, whatever you need, I am right here with you. Just tell me what you want. I don't ever want you to try the...the...unthinkable. Okay?" Hoseok asked as Jin nodded and hugged his younger brother. He wiped and smiled at Hoseok. "Okay Hobi...as you say. But for now. I want you to get good sleep. I will go visit hospital and come back. Don't worry. It's my turn to be there for you all." Hoseok nodded and smiled at his brother.

"But first, let's visit appa", Hoseok said as he got out of his bed. He needed to see his father.

"Okay", Jin sighed as readied himself to visit his father with Hoseok.

Within a few minutes, Jin and Hoseok arrived at the hospital....only to find Jimin with Jackson and Joon. This was unexpected.

"What is he doing here?", Jin barked staring at Jimin.

Hoseok intervened, "Hyung, nothing has been proved against Jimin yet."

"It is because of him our dad is in hospital and you are supporting him, Hobi."

"I am not supporting anyone hyung, just being practical that nothing has been proved against Jimin. We cannot just blame him."

"There was evidence against him. He stole the papers, he forged the documents, it was him all along." Jin yelled as Jimin kept his head down.

"Stop...stop both of you." Jae asked her sons to keep it down. It was a hospital after all.

"It is bad enough that our company's reputation is lost but your father just had a heart attack. So I beg you to stop". Jae looked at her sons who stared at her and at each other.

"Sorry Eomma", Jin hugged Jae. Her face went pale and so did Jin's but he kept his cool. She wanted to talk to Jin but with everyone there, chances were bleak.

"I am sorry everyone. This is because of me", Jimin spoke up. But before anyone can talk Joon intervened. "Jackson is here because he wanted to try talk to Hwan uncle again", Joon briefed everyone that Jackson told Jimin to call him as soon as Hwan was ready to talk. But its been two days and Hwan was still unable to say anything. Jackson visited the hospital but in vain. There was no improvement in Hwan's condition.

Everyone gathered around Hwan who was still asleep. "Wake up, Hwan."  Jae cried as she traced the fingers of her husband.

Hwan slowly opened his eyes. He was staring at his wife. Jae cried in happiness. "Hwan...thank god you are up. Look...everyone is here." Hwan's eyes darted towards everyone who were standing near the ICU entrance. All of a sudden, his eyes went wide as he stared at Hoseok, Jackson, Jin, and Joon who were standing near each other. He tried to raise his hand trying to point at them hinting something.

"What? What is it, Hwan?" Jae asked her husband and held his hand.

"Why is appa is pointing at Jimin?", Jin dropped a question making everyone stare at Jin.

"Appa what is it?", Hoseok asked as he ran towards his father.

Hwan's eyes were looking at Joon, Jin and Jackson completely spooked. Jackson walked hurriedly towards Hwan. "Mr. Hwan, we need to ask you a few questions. Sir? Sir?" Before Hwan can answer, the monitor began beeping loudly. Hoseok ran to get the doctor outside as Hwan pointed towards Jimin.

"Doctor...help...my appa", Hoseok ran to the reception section near the ICCU as the doctor walked towards him. The doctor asked the nurse to grab a medicine as he walked towards the ICCU where Hwan was placed.

"Doctor please help him", Jae screamed. The doctor went and checked the monitor and found Hwan's pulse rate going higher. The nurse walked in hurriedly with the vial and injection tray but she bumped into Jin making her drop the tray. He helped her out as the doctor handled the vial and injection and injected the syringe into Hwan's catheter. Within a few minutes, Hwan's heartbeat became normal as he relaxed and fell into deep sleep.

"He is fine for now but we need to observe him for a couple of days only then can we discharge him. However, he would need proper medication and careful attention." Doctor Song instructed as everyone took a deep sigh.

"But doctor we need to ask Mr. Jung some questions", Jackson asked the doctor.

"Sorry sir. But your questions can wait. As of now, he needs rest and as Mr. Jung's doctor I won't recommend any stress. Please refrain from any questioning."

"But doctor", Jackson reasoned.

"Sir, you might be police but this is a hospital and we have rules. I am sorry I won't allow that", Doctor Song said as he walked out of the ICCU.

Jackson took a deep sigh. He needed to ask Mr. Hwan the truth...something which only he can answer. Without that the entire Jung Corp will be in trouble. Worst, Jimin will be in hell.

As the doctor walked out, Jackson looked at everyone. "Jackson....what should we do now?" Joon asked.

Hoseok sat near his father his emotions overwhelming. "Why was everything happening to his family?" If only he knew the answer.

Jae looked at her sons. She nodded at Jin. "Hobi, do you need anything?"

"No eomma."

"I need a cup of coffee. Jin, can you come with me?"

"Okay eomma." Jin nodded at Hoseok who gave a nod back.

As Jin and Jae walked towards the canteen, Jae was silent. She was angry at her son who did this. Jin knew the reason behind his mother's silence and he knew very well how to handle it. As they sat on the chair, jae looked at her son, her eyes asking thousands of questions. But before Jae could ask, Jin spoke up. "Eomma, I am sorry."

Jae looked up surprised and shocked, "I am sorry that I had to do it but I never thought appa would suffer like this." Jin broke into tears grabbing his mother's palms. "Why did you do it Jin? Why did you put Jimin as the owner of Jung Corp? Do you have any idea what you have done? How it affected your father? Look where we are because of you. Look how much he is suffering because of him. "

"Eomma....I wanted to get rid of Jimin. I had had enough of him, his constant insults, the way he treats me as his secretary. Put yourself in my shoes eomma. Hoseok took my place as the CEO of Jung Corp and as Joon's husband. If that wasn't bad, Jimin made my life miserable. He asked me to sit on the floor at Kim Mansion...the constant taunts, mockery. Did you know that eomma? No..I endured it coz I felt I deserved it. But I know I don't. Eomma, trust me I didn't want this to happen to appa. I just wanted to punish Jimin...but everything fell apart. I am sorry eomma."

Jae looked at her son. "What? He asked you to sit on the floor?"

"Yes Eomma in front of Joon and Hobi."

"And Hobi didn't say anything?", Jae asked and Jin nodded a No.

"That's why I wanted you to come back. But you stayed at Kim Mansion. Why? Why did you let Jimin insult you?"

"Jimin insulted me coz he is a loser (like Hoseok)." Jin didn't say the last part out loud but to himself. "He wanted to get rid of me from day one. He hates seeing me with Joon."

"Joon is Hobi's husband, Jinnie."

"Yes...Now. But what about before that? Jimin detested me from the first time we met. But Joon...he loved ME...ME...and he still loves ME. I can see it in his eyes. And Eomma to be honest, since the last few days he has been really good to me."

"That's coz he sees you as his brother-in-law." Jae clarified.

"Really, Eomma? I know the looks Joon gives me. Its not the brother in law love. He is really falling for me again."

"Son, you are being delusional. You think Joon will come back to you and leave Hobi? That would never happen."

Jin gritted his teeth. "Eomma...Joon never loved Hoseok. Hobi is like a compromise. You know that. Eomma, I know I made a mistake and now I want to make it right. Joon loves me. He can love no one else like he loves me."

Jae nodded her head, dreading what her son is thinking now. "Jin, you are not thinking of..."

"Yes, Eomma...I need to have Joon. I cannot leave without Joon. I cannot breathe without Joon. I will make him mine."

"But what about Hobi?"

"What about him? Once I make Joon mine, he will divorce Hobi. Don't worry Eomma."

"Jin, I cannot let that happen."

"Eomma....let me ask you something. You want to throw everything at Jimin's feet? Let him run the company as he wants."

Jae nodded, "No."

"Coz as far as I have seen, Hoseok doesn't give a shit for Jung Corp."

"What are you talking about? He attends meetings, talks to clients...."

"Yes, Eomma, once or twice a month may be but what about the rest? It's in Jimin's hands. He runs it. Do you want me to be a slave to Jimin forever? Be his secretary, making his cup of coffee and filing papers."

"Of course not Jin."

"Then let me handle it my way, Eomma. Jimin doesn't own Jung Corp. Its mine." Jin paused as he relaxed. He still had some convincing to do as he looked at his mother. "OK Fine, Eomma, let's say Jung Corp is mine and Hobi's. If so, then we and Hobi could have run the company together?Why did Hobi start his own company with his friends if he cared so much about our company? The company appa built so hard. He trusts Jimin more than me" Jin asked the question making Jae wonder. What was the need for Hoseok to start the company if he had his own?

Before Jae could think too much, Jin held his mother's hand. "Eomma, I want only the best for us. I have seen you obey everything appa says like a dutiful wife...never uttering a single word against him. Yes, he gave you everything but the love you craved for....you never got it. I have seen the way he treats you."

"SEOKJIN", Jae raised her voice her love for her husband not allowing her to hear anything wrong about him.

"Eomma...I know you are angry that you don't want to hear anything about your husband, but you also know in your heart I am right." Jin stared at his mother's eyes. "I love appa too but he always put Hoseok first before me. Why do you think I am like this? He always prioritized Hoseok over me and you. You were the only one who understood me, Eomma. And I know you feel the same. Eomma, you can count on me for anything. Maa, trust me this is for the both of us. I know appa will give everything to Hoseok. He even considers Jimin his son more than me. Or tell me was it your decision too to make Jimin the COO?" That made Jae wonder. She hated it...hated it when her husband made Jimin the COO.

"No Jin....You are my son...Of course I hated it, Jin. I never wanted Jimin to be the COO. You are the official heir to our company."

"Then, why can't you back me up on this?" looking at Jae's expression, Jin continued. "Eomma, Look I know things may not seem right for you now but trust me, it's for our own good. Once this is all sorted, we will find a nice groom for Hobi too. I will talk to him."

"You think Hobi will agree to divorce Joon?", Jae asked quizzically.

"No. But Joon will", Jin said happily.

"Is it done?", Joon asked.

"Yes", Jackson nodded.

"Okay".
