I'm just asking for some time to think. I promise our team will get back to you soon."
He stood up and everyone else followed course. "Now, let's wrap up this meeting and get back to work. We have a lot to do before we launch our project."
He looked at her and smiled again. "Thank you for your presentation and your proposition, Ms. Lee. You have impressed me today."

Jungkook, an aspiring painter, had organized an exhibition of his artwork in a prestigious art gallery. Knowing the significance of this event to Jungkook, Namjoon, his best friend, received a call urging him to attend. Despite being pressed for time, Namjoon made it a priority to support his friend. Determined and focused, he swiftly parked his car and rushed towards the entrance, eager to join the celebration.
As Namjoon arrived at the gallery, he spotted Jungkook amidst a crowd of admirers, his face beaming with pride. Namjoon couldn't help but share in Jungkook's excitement and immediately approached him, extending his warm congratulations. With a genuine smile, he expressed his admiration for Jungkook's talent and hard work.
Namjoon spoke proudly, "Jungkook! I'm so proud of you!"
"Hey, Namjoon-ahhhh! You made it. Uff, thank god. You're always so busy with your work."
"Well, you know me. But I wouldn't miss this for the world. You're my best friend, after all."
Jungkook smiled happily, "Aww, you're too sweet. Come on, let me show you around. I have some paintings that I think you'll like."
Curiosity piqued, Namjoon's eyes wandered towards the array of paintings displayed on the gallery walls. With each stroke of the brush, Jungkook had created a masterpiece. Intrigued by the artistry before him, Namjoon's enthusiasm grew, prompting him to declare, "These paintings are incredible! I would love to buy one and support your journey as an artist."
However, to Namjoon's surprise, Jungkook gently shook his head and replied, "I appreciate your support, my friend, but the painting you desire has already been sold."
Namjoon's brows furrowed in confusion, his eyes scanning the artwork once again. He couldn't fathom how the painting he had set his sights on had found an owner so quickly. Seeking an explanation, he inquired, "How do you know and how did it sell so fast? I was just moments away from claiming it."
Jungkook pointed towards a discreet red dot carefully placed beside the sold painting, revealing its status. "You see that small red dot? We place it to indicate that the artwork has been sold. Someone else beat you to it, my friend," Jungkook explained with a mix of pride and regret. They walk around the gallery, admiring Jungkook's paintings. Namjoon is impressed by his friend's talent and creativity.
"Wow, Kookie. These are amazing. You've really outdone yourself."
"Thank you, Namjoon. That means a lot coming from you. But do me a favor. Don't call me Kookie. I don't wanna be known as Artist Kookie...rather Artist Jeon Jungkook."
Namjoon nodded his head in approval as his eyes went on to another painting. "This one is my favorite. It's so colorful and vibrant. It reminds me of our trip to Hawaii last year."
"Oh, yeah. That was a fun trip. We should go again sometime."
"Definitely. Hey, how much is this painting? I want to buy it." But Namjoon's face fell when he saw the red dot.
As Namjoon stood amidst the captivating artwork in the gallery, his eyes were drawn to a particular painting that resonated with his personal taste. Intrigued by the possibility of finding someone who shared his artistic preferences, a question lingered in his mind. He pondered silently, "Who could it be? Who else appreciates this artwork as much as I do?"
Unable to contain his curiosity any longer, Namjoon turned to his friend, Jungkook, who stood nearby. With an inquisitive expression, he leaned closer and asked, "Jungkook, do you happen to know who shares a similar taste in art like mine? The person who is drawn to this painting, just like I am?"
Jungkook, well aware of Namjoon's discerning eye and refined taste, observed the direction of his friend's gaze. A mischievous smile crept onto his face as he pointed towards a figure across the gallery. "You see that gentleman over there? He seems to be captivated by the very painting that has caught your attention."
Namjoon's gaze followed Jungkook's finger until it landed upon the person Jungkook had indicated. Standing amidst the crowd, admiring the artwork with a focused expression, was none other than Seokjin, someone who had managed to capture Namjoon's curiosity before. The man was clicking selfies admiring his looks. After a few selfies, he went back to admiring Jungkook's paintings.
Intrigued by the coincidence, Namjoon's interest piqued further. He couldn't help but wonder about the connection between Seokjin's taste and his own. There was an undeniable allure in finding someone who shared a similar appreciation for art, as it hinted at a deeper understanding and connection.
Namjoon's mind whirred with questions, urging him to unravel the mystery. What was it about this painting that resonated with both him and Seokjin? Could it be a shared understanding of aesthetics, or perhaps a mutual appreciation for the emotions evoked by the artwork? Whatever the reason, Namjoon felt a sense of intrigue and a desire to engage in conversation with this mysterious individual.
With an inquisitive smile playing on his lips, Namjoon turned back to Jungkook and jokingly remarked, "Well, it seems I have found someone with a similar taste after all. Looks like this encounter might lead to an interesting conversation."
Jungkook, well aware of Namjoon's adventurous spirit and his inclination for exploration, nodded in agreement. He replied with a knowing grin, "Indeed, Namjoon. Sometimes, unexpected connections and shared passions can spark the most intriguing encounters. I have a feeling this meeting will be no exception."
Seokjin was looking at the painting, when Jungkook stood near him. Seokjin looked at Kook and smiled, "This painting is so beautiful. It speaks to my soul. It's like the artists knows me better than I know myself."
"Excuse me, sir. I'm the artist of this painting."
Seokjin looked at Jungkook in admiration, "Oh, really? Wow, you're very talented. And handsome."
Jungkook blushed at the compliment, "Thank you, sir. I'm glad you like it."
"Like it? I love it. It's the best thing I've ever seen in my life. In fact, I will buy this", Seokjin cooed.
"Well, thank you again, sir. But I'm afraid this painting is already sold."
"What? No! How can that be?"
"See that red dot? That means it's sold."
Seokjin's anger began rising slowly, "But...but...I want it! Is it the money? I can pay you more. You do know who I am right?"
Jungkook cleared his throat and bowed, "I'm sorry, sir. But there's nothing I can do about it."
At that moment, Namjoon walks up to them and joins the conversation. "Hey, Jungkook. Is there a problem here?"
Jungkook looked at Namjoon, "Oh, hey, Namjoon. This gentleman here likes the painting that you bought."
Namjoon, with his calm demeanor, smiled and replied, "Well, if that's the case, then I suppose I can graciously give it away."
Seokjin, hearing their exchange, raised an eyebrow and let out a dismissive scoff. With an air of self-assured arrogance, he declared, "I'm sorry, but I don't settle for anyone's second choice. I have always been, and will always be, the best and the first choice. So I don't need you to take pity on me. So you can keep your gracious gesture to yourself."
Namjoon couldn't help but be amused by Seokjin's confident demeanor. He retorted, a hint of teasing in his voice, "Ah, so you believe you're the epitome of perfection, huh? I must say, you do have quite the high opinion of yourself."
Seokjin, not one to back down, flashed a charming smile and replied, "Well, when you're as exceptional as I am, it's hard not to have a high opinion. After all, I have impeccable taste and an eye for true beauty."
Namjoon and Jungkook exchanged amused glances, fully aware of Seokjin's penchant for indulging in his own greatness. Namjoon couldn't resist adding, "You do know that humility can be quite endearing, right? Maybe one day, you'll experience the joy of being someone's second choice."
Seokjin, unfazed by Namjoon's playful jabs, simply shrugged his shoulders, offering a parting comment filled with unyielding confidence, "Well, until that day comes, I'll continue to bask in the glory of being the first choice. It suits me quite well."
Their exchange showcased Seokjin's unwavering self-assurance and his unapologetic belief in his own superiority. Though his arrogance was evident, it was all in good fun, adding a humorous dynamic to their friendship. Namjoon and Jungkook couldn't help but appreciate Seokjin's unique charm, even if it came with a healthy dose of self-pride.
