Third Person's POV

"This is amazing!" Valarie stated, glancing around. They were at an open restaurant which the customers get to eat at a garden, and the garden was beautiful. There were tables under gazebos, for privacy as well, which they were in one. They just finished eating and decide to just stay for a moment, drinking chilled white wine.

"I'm glad you liked it" He stated.

"You know, I'm surprised that you know better than me about Paris" He smiled at that.

"We used to live here when I was younger, but I can barely remember anything because I was too young. But occasionally, my father would bring us here on trips, but we mostly just shop. My parents aren't foodies like me and my sister" She stated, shaking her head. Hyungwon listened attentively, looking at her hands moving as she speaks.

"My sister was fluent in Japanese, my mother's native tongue. But I took after my father, speaking French. But over the years, I just got really bad at it" She chuckled, nervously.  Hyungwon noticed that whenever she laughs, she crinkles her nose at the start, that is really cute of her

"I'm talking too much, aren't I?" She asked.

"Not at all. I don't talk that much. I would prefer to listen" She nodded at that.

"When was the last time you've been here?" She asked.

"It was a really long time. The Eiffel tower didn't exist yet and we didn't know how to speak French" Hyungwon chuckled.

"We caused a lot of trouble here" Hyungwon added.

"I'm sure. I think Jooheon told me before that you guys were quite the little monsters in your younger years" Valarie commented. And that was nearly two centuries ago.

"Yeah. When we first shifted to our immortal state, they had to lock us up for two weeks just to get us to control our hunger. And after that, we just went berserk" Hyungwon smiled a little, remembering the 'X' clan's past together. They started off as competitors, competing for the seven elite positions, when the seven has been picked, they instantly became good friends.

"Can I ask something personal?" Valarie asked, feeling nervous. Hyungwon just nodded in response.

"I don't mean to ruin the moment or anything. Is Emiko the first person you fell in love with?" She asked, slowly. He nodded, pursing his lips.

"My first love, I'm sure of it" He said. She just nod at that, before taking a sip of her wine.

"It's funny now that I think about it" He started. She look at him.

"I used to write poems and Emiko was the first person to snoop and read them. Just like how I used to read yours" She watched as he smiled at her and she smiled back.

"Hmm. Turns out you're the same as her"

"Maybe I am. Or maybe, I'm the same as you" He smiled back. Valarie thought for a moment, maybe they are similar in terms of being the victim in the scenarios.

"But, are you okay now?" She asked.

"I've moved on. I realised it's stupid to hold on to someone who's already long gone" She gripped the hem of her skirt, feeling a pang in her chest. How badly she wanted to hear those words from him the last time they saw each other. Then, maybe they could've been together, but now she's with Andre. Andre. Oh my god! She totally forgot about Andre!

"Oh, god" She just realised, looking at the time.

"What's wrong?"

"I'm supposed to meet my boyfriend at his photoshoot! I'm late!" She got up from her seat. Hyungwon instantly felt disappointed, he had forgotten that she has a boyfriend now.

"I'll send you" He quickly said.

"It's fine, Mr. Chae" She reject his offer.

"I really enjoyed the lunch. Thank you so much for treating me" She went to walk away, when he quickly grabbed her hand.

"Can I see you again?" He asked.

"Uh..." She looks unsure.

"I... I'm sorry, Mr. Chae. I don't think that's a good idea for the both of us"

"What do you mean?" Hyungwon asked. Valarie felt her spirits dropped a little. Does she really have to explain? A lump form in her throat, and her eyes glistened with tears.

"I'm afraid I will be the one who can't move on from you. And I can't do that to my boyfriend. He's been so great to me" She stated, her eyes tearing up. Hyungwon hates how she's lying! She knows Andre cheated on her! He instantly got up, still not letting go of her hand.

"Please, Valarie" She was shocked to see him pleading. This is not like him at all.

"Mr. Chae! Please! I don't understand you! I thought you wanted to stay loyal to Emiko forever! Do you know how hard I've tried to move on from you? I have someone else now! Please! I hope you understand!" She pleads with him, tears are starting to roll down her cheeks. He stepped closer.

"I don't want to understand" He said, sternly, before he placed his lips on hers, holding her firmly. She was taken aback, but maybe this is what she needs. Maybe this is the closure she needs. This will be the last she'll see him, she promised to herself, before she gave in to him.

Hyungwon kissed down the features of her face and she felt her mind going hazy, feeling his body pressed against hers. She yelped and flinched, feeling him enter her so fast and she instantly pushed against his chest, feeling pain shoot up her back and hips. She tilt her head back in pain, biting down on her lip, feeling him stretching her out. F**k! It hurts! Was all she could think of. Hyungwon panicked, seeing her in pain.

"S**t! I'm sorry! I was too eager" He intertwined their hands and leaned closer, her face was scrunched up and she hiss when he moved a little. He tense up once again, before he leans down and place kisses down her neck, trying to make her relax, which worked. He slowly moved his hips and Valarie moaned a little at the feeling. "Andre cheated on me. Now, I'm cheating on him" She cried out.

"No, no. He doesn't deserve you" Hyungwon stated, cupping her face and making her look at him.

"You deserve better, and I can give you better" He stated, in a serious tone. Her heart skipped a beat at that. But she simply couldn't accept the tempting offer, as much as she wants to. She is tired and she is done. Hyungwon placed his lips on hers and he got on top of her.

"I can give you better. I promise you" He added. She was shocked when he grabbed both of her hands and held them above her head.

"Don't think about anyone other than me" He said, with an angry tone. He leans closer and place his lips on her, ravaging her lips. He let go of her hands to cup her face. She let him do as he pleased. She wanted this so bad and she wants it to end this way. She wants it to end with Hyungwon loving her as a last memory of them together.

"M-more. I want more" She stated. Hyungwon smiled at that.

"Then, I won't hold back" He said, she gasped when he entered her once again and her back arched in pleasure. She gripped and crumpled the sheets, as he started moving his hips at a steady pace. He engulfed one of her buds in his mouth, making her toes curl at the feeling. She moaned loudly, as he fastened his pace. She gripped onto him, her nails digging into his back. She can't tell him that she's leaving him. It'll only make it harder for the both of them. With a last kiss on the forehead, they both fell asleep in each other's arms, feeling so comfortable.
