Third Person's POV

Hyungwon felt miserable. He just stared at the portrait of him and the one he loves. He heard the doorbell ring, and he slowly got up, his back making a sickening crack sound. He wondered who it could be. He heard another bell go off and he walked towards the door, sluggishly. As he opened the door, he was met with his friends from the 'X' Clan. Minhyuk, Jooheon, Kihyun, Changkyun and Wonho entered his living space.

"Why does it smell like death in here?" Minhyuk asked, instantly going to the kitchen to make himself a drink.

"You missed the official meeting of changing the system, Hyungwon-ah" Wonho said, in seriousness.

"Sorry" He mumbled, lifelessly.

"Hyungwon, what's gotten into you?" Kihyun asked, in concern, watching as Hyungwon took a seat on the couch. My goodness, his friend had never looked more dead than a corpse.

"You've been silent for months. Your parents are worried" Changkyun stated, before joining Minhyuk in the kitchen.

"You look like you didn't sleep for months. And I'm one to talk, I have three kids" Wonho stated, shaking his head slightly, but the small smile was apparent on his face. Life with Kimberly has never been better, and they are blessed with three kids. Hyungwon noticed how Wonho looks happy just thinking of his family, and he felt envious. He wanted that, so much. He was ready to start a family. But the turn of events, left him in ruins.

"Hyung, are you okay?" Jooheon asked, watching Hyungwon that was silent.

"Hey, we're talking to you!" Wonho raised his voice a little. If Shownu was here, he would've set Hyungwon straight, if Shownu hadn't started his deep slumber.

"Hyungwon, we are leaders of the community. What would they say, if they see you like this?" Kihyun patted Hyungwon's shoulders.

"I want to die" They all fall silent, even  Changkyun who stepped into the living room stop in his tracks. What the actual f**k had happened to Chae Hyungwon? That simple statement, made it feel like a big heavy boulder had fallen onto their shoulders. It's too much to bear, hearing it come from their friend's mouth.

"End my life, hyung. I can't take it anymore" He continued to mumble. Still, they were too shock to say anything. Confusion lace their features.

"I don't want to live anymore!!" They all jumped in shock at the sudden movement and loud sound coming from Hyungwon. The space shook as his powers emitted of his body and his eyes were a pale blue. Hyungwon rarely used his powers. If he could, he wouldn't. Something must've happened to him that made him that way. Minhyuk that was in the kitchen heard everything as well, and he slowly went towards them. They all watched Hyungwon kneeling on the ground, tears dripping down like heavy rain. Wonho was the first to react, pulling Hyungwon into a hug, and soon the others joined.

"Hyungwon, why are you doing this to yourself? We thought you have moved on from her"

"Stop punishing yourself because of what you didn't do" Minhyuk remarked.

"Emiko died because of me! If I didn't push for her to see me, she would still be alive!" Hyungwon cried.

"How could you say it was your fault? She is the one who agreed to see you. No one could see it coming, even you. Don't blame yourself" Changkyun said.

"Those people who did this to her, are probably rotting in hell right now" Jooheon stated.

"Move on, Hyungwon. It has been a century. You have proven your love to her by staying loyal to someone who's long gone for a hundred years. Message received"

"Let the scars fade. There is nothing you could possibly do, to make her come back" Kihyun commented, putting a hand on his shoulder.

"Let her go, Hyungwon. Let her rest in peace" Wonho said. Hyungwon stayed silent, not knowing what to say. But he has to admit, they have a point.

"We know its hard. But we also know you are strong enough to pull through" Wonho added. Hyungwon's thoughts wander, as he accepted the facts. He has to move on, they're right.

"Who made this brownies anyways? They're really good" Minhyuk stated, nodding his head. Hyungwon chuckled at that, smiling. Instantly, they all felt relieved seeing his smile.

"You guys know that you all are the best, right?" Hyungwon asked. They all chuckled, smiling brightly.

"I need a favor from all of you" Hyungwon said, feeling a surge of energy seeping into his skin.

"Say it and it's done" Kihyun nodded.

"Help me get back the woman I stupidly let go" Hyungwon stated.

"Attaboy!" Minhyuk instantly put an arm around Hyungwon.

"Let's get em!" Jooheon smirked, instantly they got into action.

"I'm fine, Rae! I just fell down the short stairs!" Val inspected the light bruise on her hip.

"You-!" Rae cut herself off before she cursed, and she took a breather.

"Why are you making me worried?"

"I'm fine. Besides, I got this one to look after me" Valarie reached out behind her and instantly she was engulfed into a hug from behind. She smiled as he kissed her cheek.

"Hi Andre"

"Stop nagging, Rae. That's my job here. So, don't worry. I got it covered for you" He winked at her.

"You better. Your girl is such a baby"

"Hey! That's not fair! The both of you are teaming up against me! I've got no one to back me up!" The other two chuckled at Valarie's whining.

"Okay, Rae. We have to go. This baby got a photoshoot and the reason she's cranky is because she had to fast today"

"Oh, no wonder. This baby is hungry" Rae cooed at her.

"Bye, Rae!" Valarie scowled jokingly at Rae and the last thing she heard before she ended the video call was Rae's laughters.

"Baby, you're supposed to have my back" He chuckled, looking down at her. She wrapped her arms around his shoulders, and he wrapped his arms around her small waist.

"Would you rather she keep on nagging?" He asked.

"Hmm. I wouldn't mind" Valarie joked, making him narrow his eyes on her. Valarie chuckled and lean in close to kiss him. Yet, deep down it didn't feel fulfilling.

"The plan is in motion. It will go on tonight" Minhyuk nodded. Hyungwon smiled in satisfaction.

"Thank you, Hyung" Hyungwon thanked him, before ending the call. Hyungwon went to join Kihyun and his wife Shannon.

"Where's Sera?" Hyungwon asked them, referring to their daughter.

"Alex and Kimberly are looking after her. The kids are all there at Morgan's place" Shannon answered.

"How is Morgan doing?" Hyungwon asked.

"She's good. Helping her brother Michael run the werewolf community" Kihyun replied.

"I can't believe Emily and Michael are actually the king and queen of the werewolf community. Emily was so small when Wonho took her in" Hyungwon stated, remembering Emily when she was younger. They grow up so fast.

"So, are you prepared to face her tonight?" Kihyun asked.

"Yes. If the plan goes well" Hyungwon remarked.

"Are we mean to do this?" Hyungwon asked.

"I don't think so. We're just giving them a test, that's it. If they passed that's good, but if they fail, you get her" Kihyun stated, and Shannon nodded.

"Don't worry, Hyungwon. Let's see if their love is strong enough"

"I hope it goes well" Hyungwon grabbed the cup of coffee and took a sip, his eyes fixated on the Eiffel tower.

Valarie went to take a seat on the couch. Her legs feeling sore. She watched as it was Andre's turn to shoot. Valarie felt a tap behind her, and she turn to look and her eyes brightened up.

"Oh my god, Emmy!" Valarie jumped up and instantly engulfed the girl in a hug.

"What are you doing here?" Valarie asked.

"I'm freelancing here" Emmy is the first person she acquainted with here in Paris. Emmy and her parents welcomed Valarie in their home, while she looked for a place to live. It has been wonderful knowing them. And Emmy is a photographer, and she was the one who introduced Valarie to a model agency and now Valarie works as a freelance model, doing small jobs, but the pay is quite good.

"I see. How is things going with you? How's your parents?" Valarie asked.

"Everything's great. My parents missed you. Come by next weekend. Bring along Andre. We're having a small get together and dinner. It'll be fun" Emmy stated.

"Oh, that sounds like so much fun. We'll definitely be there" Valarie nodded.

"Alright, see you then" Emmy and Valarie hugged one last time, before Emmy walked away.
