Third Person's POV

"Mr. Chae..." She started, looking at him. She has never felt so insulted with the way he was talking to her.

"Are you enjoying this?" She asked, he just shrugged.

"I've tasted better food" He said, pushing the plate with unfinished food, further away from him.

"Can I get you anything else?" He put up his hand, before shaking his head.

"No, thank you"

"I never knew somebody like you could be... very dirty-minded" He stated, getting straight to the point. Oh, what a big mouth he has!

"What would the community think of you?"

"How dare you say that? After you peek at my diary, without even apologizing for invading my privacy" She said.

"If you let it open like that for everyone to see, someone's gonna see"

"I thought you were sleeping" She said.

"You thought. So, it was your fault. I didn't even know it was your diary in the first place" He said, turning this against her. He watched, as she gripped the armrest and close her eyes momentarily to calm herself down.

"My father is suffering because of you and your friends"

"I know. Gives them a slap of their own reality. Your father and the other council members, need to get off the high chair for once and learn how the others are suffering because of them"

"What?!" She hissed.

"Then what about you and your friends?" She asked.

"We've already been woken up by the council, that's why we took over in the first place" Hyungwon simply said, shrugging. She felt mad hearing his words.

"Mr. Chae, I'm just asking from you one thing. Please, don't let anyone know what I wrote in that book" She pleaded with him.

"They say don't judge a book by it's cover, but the book is already opened" Hyungwon implied.

"And you, my dear, turns out to be very, very... interestingly dark" He said, making her gape at him, as he got up and left her there, stunned. Interestingly dark? What does he mean by that?!

"How did it go?" His mother asked, he just shrugged.

"Okay" He replied.

"You and your friends are going to that summer house again, right? Why don't you bring her along?" His eyes darted towards his mother that was playing the piano, leaving a melody to echo throughout the hall.

"Why is that?" He asked, as he crashed on the couch and unbutton his shirt a little.

"I want to see what Mr. De'Casper has in plan for his daughter and you"

"Isn't it obvious?" He asked, but his mother just shrugged and focused on playing the piano.

"How great is that? Don't forget to thank him for that"

"I feel like I shouldn't go"

"Why not? Maybe he has a liking to you?" Her father asked.

"Papa, do you really think he likes me?"

"If someone tries hard to love you, they can" Her jaw nearly dropped at what he said. If someone tries hard? That means she's not good enough? Why does someone have to try hard? Ugh! She wanted to leave, but her father stopped her.

"I'm counting on you" Her father said.

"Hmm" She replied, uninterested.

"My slave" Hyungwon introduces to her.

"Hera, this is a friend of mine, Valarie" Valarie look towards Hera, pretty, but not as pretty as her. She was just a slave, unlike her, she's a friend of his. Hera hold out her hand for Valarie and Valarie was reluctant, but shake it anyways.

"Hera, you go ahead first" Hyungwon said.

"Hmm... Ms. De'Casper, I'm wondering, why exactly did you not want to shake my slave's hand?" He asked, as he took a step closer towards her.

"I can shake whoever's hand I want"

"Yeah, I can too. But you don't have to be rude to my slave, she didn't do anything wrong to you" Hyungwon said, spitefully.

"I'm Kimberly" She hold out her hand towards Valarie.

"Wonho's wife"

"And that is, Alex, my sister and Changkyun's wife"

"Valarie" She shake hands with Alex.

"So, I hear you... are trying to pursue Hyungwon, is that true?" Alex asked, Valarie was taken aback at the boldness of Alex.

"Alex, that's too personal"

"Why, him?" Alex asked, grabbing Valarie's arm, linking it with hers. Valarie instantly stood in place, tensing up and looking at Alex wide eyed. Alex saw Valarie's uncomfortable face and pull away her arm.

"I'm sorry" Alex apologized.

"Sorry, my sister is very, overly friendly" Kimberly stated.

"It's fine" Valarie wasn't used to... skin ship, it was a stranger to her.

"Come on" Alex said, nudging towards the big house, their summer house. It was beautiful, really beautiful and big. When she was still rich, she got to experience something like this, but rarely, since her father is always busy and well, she didn't really have anyone, being homeschooled and everything, not even the people that raised her. Alex and Kimberly went ahead, before Valarie followed suit. She never used to be alone, she used to have a mother and another sibling. Seeing Alex and Kimberly, being so happy and close together, made her burn with envy and jealousy.

"Who is this?" She saw another lady asking.

"Shannon, this is Valarie, Hyungwon's friend"

"Oh, hi. I'm Shannon. Kihyun's wife" She hold out her hand towards Valarie, she slowly took it and shake it, giving a forced smile.

"Why don't you go and settle into your room? Your room is next to Hyungwon's" Shannon said, pointing up the stairs. She nodded and slowly dragged her luggage up the stairs.

"Master. Don't. I'm ticklish there!" She heard a voice giggling and speaking in Korean, her not understanding one thing. She hesitantly stepped towards the direction of the sound. She slowly walk pass a room with an open door and her body tense up, seeing Hyungwon and his slave, making out. She watched as their lips danced with each other and she could see his tongue slipping into her mouth. She felt like she got shot, when his eyes snapped open and look directly at her. Hyungwon closed the door, using his powers and he locked it. She quickly snapped out of her trance and went ahead to her room.

"Is that how it is?" She wondered to herself. She never really seen someone kissing in real life before, never in front of her, it's... weird, yet it's beautiful, how people can show their love and intentions through actions. She place herself on the bed and she slowly went to lay down. How does it feel to be kissed? She wondered to herself, before reaching up and tracing her lips with her fingers.

"So... weird"

"That Valarie girl, is really something" Alex stated, as they were cooking.

"She's cute. She reminds me of a doll" Kimberly stated.

"Ha! I think so too!" Alex said.

"She has a modest look, but she could look snobbish at the same time. She has that rich girl vibe, you know what I'm talking?" Alex asked, which Kimberly nodded.

"Like you?"

"Wha-? I am not a rich girl, anymore. Are you-? What are you trying to say?" Alex felt confused, as she narrowed her eyes on her sister.

"Wow. High class much?" Shannon went down the stairs, the two sisters look at her.

"Everything, okay?"

"She's rich to the bone. I'm sure of it" Shannon said.

"I went into her room and saw this many branded products, to skincare, hair care and perfumes. Oh my god. I felt like I couldn't even step into her room" Shannon stated.

"Yeah, she could fit in well with the boys"

"From what Kihyun told me, her father used to be in the council, before our husbands took over" Shannon gossiped.

"That's terrible. So, the father is basically retired?"

"More like fired" Kimberly replied.

"Yeah, and her father is going bankrupt" Shannon added.

"What are you girls talking about?" Changkyun and Wonho appeared down the stairs, along with their kids.

"Baked macaroni?" Alex asked them.

"Baked macaroni? What the hell is that?"

"It's... macaroni that has been baked" Kimberly tried to explain, but failed.

"Okay" Wonho replied, unsure, as he took the plate of the baked macaroni, that looks like a pie.

"How is it?" Kimberly asked, as Wonho took a bite.

"Good" Wonho nodded.

"Taste like macaroni" Changkyun stated, somewhat, sounding sarcastic.

"Go and call the others to eat" Kimberly said to Alex.

"Chris. Aria. Come and eat" Kimberly said to her two kids.

"Boys! Take a seat!" Alex ordered Changkyun, along with her two sons.
