CHAPTER 17

Magnus and Alec spent a few hours comforting Helen. She was in so much pain as Aline just left without saying a word.

"Did you try calling her again?" Alec asked.

"She has switched off her phone..." Helen said, still with tears in her eyes.

"She'll contact you tomorrow Helen, you should go home now..." Magnus said patting her shoulder.

"She lives in the same apartment complex right?" Alec asked.

"Yeah...two apartments away from mine...that's how we first met" Helen sighed.

"Everything will be okay...just give her sometime..." Alec said.

"I'll take you home...I'll drop you off..." Magnus said standing up and Helen agreed with a nod.

Alec was preparing dinner till Magnus came back.

"Mags...how's she now?" Alec asked as Magnus came back.

"Still the same..." Magnus sighed.

"They'll meet at work tomorrow right...let's not get involved, they'll find their way back to each other...I feel like Aline likes her too" Alec said patting Magnus's shoulder as he sensed that Magnus was upset about his sister too.

Magnus nodded.

"I'm so tired today...let's go to bed early..." Magnus said wrapping his arms around Alec's waist.

"Okay baby...let's have dinner and go to bed" Alec said and smiled.

The next day at work both Alec and Magnus were concerned about Aline and Helen. Although they met each other, Aline completely ignored Helen.

Alec knocked on Magnus's door.

"Come in"

"Mags..." Alec said walking in and hugging Magnus.

Magnus smiled and hugged him back. "What is it baby?"

"Nothing...I'm just tired...I need to recharge myself" he said kissing Magnus on the cheek.

"Did you talk to Aline?" Magnus asked.

"No...not yet...she keeps ignoring me too" Alec said

"You know who she reminds me of?" Magnus asked pulling back from the hug and looking at Alec.

"Who?" Alec asked.

"You" Magnus said laughing.

"Me? Why?" Alec asked raising an eyebrow

"You kept ignoring me...don't you remember" Magnus smiled with a smirk.

"I did? No..." Alec said hugging Magnus again.

"You did..." Magnus said kissing Alec on the neck.

Alec pulled back surprised "hey don't" but Magnus kept laying kisses along Alec's neck and jawline.

"Baby we are at work..." Alec said trying to push Magnus away.

Magnus tightly gripped Alec hand and reached out to lock the room door and with the same hand he closed the window blinds.

"Baby...hey stop" Alec said still trying to push Magnus away.

Magnus grabbed both of Alec's hands and pinned it to the wall and kept kissing and licking his jawline. And he moved on to suck at Alec's neck.

Alec gave out a low moan "Mags...you know I lose control when you do that"

"I know" Magnus said through the kisses.

Alec couldn't control himself anymore, he cupped Magnus's face and kissed him on the lips. And he lifted Magnus and walked to his desk while kissing him and made him sit on the desk.

"I love you baby..." Alec said through the kisses

"I love you too Alexander..."

Their lips collided a few more times and finally after a few minutes both of them pulled back for air.

Magnus touched Alec's lower lip with his thumb and lay another kiss. "You should get back to work"

"Hmmm..." Alec said kissing Magnus on the forehead.

Alec buttoned up his shirt and kissed Magnus on the cheek again and left the room.

Magnus smiled and got back to continue his work.
