Post Valentine treat.

Lorelei's POV

"Someone dearly to me."

I left. I left after he said those words. How dare he? Does he think I'll fall for his trap? I know him. He didn't mean it. How could he if after these years it's still her he will always choose?

I maybe important but not to her extent. I'm done playing his game. I'm done fooling myself. Thinking that one day, he'll change and will see me. I admit I'm tempted at one moment but I realized I don't want to go back.

I don't want to bet myself again. This is the reality. He doesn't do things like that. He isn't fond of the word "love". For him it's a ridiculous thing. That's why I think that it's just better to move on because why would you choose to stay if that person doesn't even know the concept of love?

Ridiculous. He's ridiculous.

I shook my head as I continue preparing for later. Luthor asked me if I could meet him at a restaurant later and knowing Luthor, he only go to a fancy restaurant. We don't want to become an outcast so I wear a yellow O-neck sleeveless loose women casual dress paired with weave strappy brown buckle heal. I just curl my hair in a big curl and let it flow on my back.

"I'm on my way."

Basa ko sa kararating lang na text ni Luthor. I also replied "I'm going now."

I arrived at the mentioned restaurant almost late because of the heavy traffic. Well, what can I expect? It's a busy night for many- couples to be exact.

"Hey, did you wait long enough? I'm sorry. There's a heavy traffic." I kiss his cheek as soon as I arrived at our table. He looks dashing as usual in his white long sleeves and blue jeans. I don't know what to call his shoes but from the looks of it, it's screams "rich"

"No, it's fine. Have a seat." Sabay iginiya ako sa reserved seat.

We first ordered our food, our usual food which is our usual order steak and a red wine. As soon as the waiter walk out a disaster appeared in front of us.

"You two are on a date. You left me earlier so you could be with him?"

"What are you doing here?" said by his brother. Yes it's him, Loki.

"Am I not allowed here my dear brother? as far as I remember this is open for everyone who wants to eat."

This is supposed to be us two. But this Loki won't allow it to happen. Argh. Did he enter my life to piss me off everytime he can?

We just stared at him in a hope that he'll get uncomfortable but it didn't happen. Instead, it's me who got irritated.

"Seriously, what do you want? I didn't remember inviting you here and I bet your brother too. So what's your agenda?"

He pulled a chair, place it in our side and sat on it. He made himself comfortable and even ordered the same food with us.

"Nothing. I just want to join you guys in your little date-"

"That you're obviously ruining. Not that we're dating. But this dinner was supposed to be us two." That's me.

"I'm here to talk to you."

"Talk to the wall." The stubborn Lorelei is awake.

"Look I'm sorry. I know you're still upset but it's the truth and I don't want to lie to you."

"Save your words. You're not the reason why I came hear." I look at Luthor who's silently observing us.

"I'm going home. I'm sorry Luthor, I know you asked me about this and I agreed but I have to go home. I owe you a dinner don't worry. I just have to go now."

Ano bang problema niya? Kailangan ko lang naman ng panahon ah? Hindi basta basta naghihilom ang sugat. Alam ko naman eh. Gets ko. He's not capable of falling in love. He's Loki after all. He thinks it's cringy. Hindi ko lang magets bakit hindi niya ako tigilan kahit sandali? Gusto ko lang naman ipahinga 'tong sarili ko sa sakit. Hay.

I walked out of the restaurant before I could even taste my order. Hindi man lang ako nakakain. Kainis. Lagi na lang kasi sumusulpot. Pati dinner namin ni Luthor nadamay pa. Magluluto na nga lang ako ng pwedeng mailuto sa bahay.

Medyo natagalan ako sa pag pag uwi dahil na rin ulit sa heavy traffic. Hindi pa nga nag iinit ang pwet ko sa restaurant na yon, umalis agad ako. Kainis kasi iyong Loki na yon.

I just tossed my bag on the sofa and head straight to the kitchen to cook what's there to cook. Unfortunately, only instant noodles and can goods are there so I thought of just ordering our food.

I'm scrolling on my phone when someone rings at my door. I don't expect any visitor since I was supposed to be outside but as soon as I saw Luthor at the peep hole, I was schock.

What's he doing here?

I immediately opened the door for him.

"Hey, what are you doing here? I'm sorry I walked out earlier at our supposedly dinner."

"No problem. I'm here because of uh... here. For you. I know you haven't eaten anything yet." Sabay pakita ng paper bag na may logo ng restaurant kanina.

"Wow. Thanks for this but you don't have to. I already owe you a dinner and now... I owe you more."

"It's nothing. I just thought that you haven't eat when you left so I brought it."

I smiled and my heart warm a little. Never thought Luthor has this side of him
