214: PART FOUR [END]
13:24, 18 May 2016To: Sana
I'm so sorry for last night, Sana.
From: Sana
I'm surprised you had the courtesy to text me, jerk.
To: Sana
I'm really sorry. I know you hate me right now but can you please give me a second chance? Let's meet later for coffee.
From: Sana
And what? Leave me again? Did you know how humiliating it was to walk out of that restaurant with all eyes on you? I even paid for everything, I had troubles getting a cab last night to go home! It was such a terrible night! Thanks to you by the way!
To: Sana
That's why you have to give me another chance. I owe you an explanation for running off like that.
From: Sana
What do you have to say for yourself?
To: Sana
I'd rather say it personally. Please give me one last chance, Sana. I feel horrible, too.
To: Sana
Please?
From: Sana
Fine. Meet me at Brooke's, 2pm.
To: Sana
Thank you!
Mingyu texted Sana the first thing in the morning. When she agreed to meet with him for the second time he knew he can't blow this off.
"What do you want?" Sana said harshly as Mingyu seated himself in front of her.
"It was awful I know, I'm really sorry. Please forgive me,"
"Why did you run off like that?!"
With that being said, Mingyu told her everything about what he felt about Tzuyu. How and when it happened. He felt that Sana had the right to know.
"It wouldn't be fair to you, Sana... If I'm still hung up on her. Don't get me wrong but you're perfect, just the right girl for me but--"
"I get it, Mingyu." She smiled as she sighed. "I'm just upset,"
"I know, I'm sorry,"
"I thought that we could be something real. Maybe I was just crazy for feeling that instant connection, you never even felt,"
"I felt it too! To be really honest I really wanted to make it work with you. But when I got that call from her I just..." He scratched the back of his neck, "I don't know. It all came rushing back, I must be crazy."
"You're not, I guess," she held his hand that was on the table, holding his cup of hot coffee. "I really hope you get her someday, Mingyu." She smiled before she grabbed her purse.
"You're going?"
"I don't see the purpose of staying,"
"Let me drive you home,"
"You don't have to feel guilty, Mingyu. Don't make me feel like I'm some charity."
"I'm sorry,"
"I'll see you when I see you,"
"Let me at least walk you out,"
"Sure,"
When they got outside the Brooke's cafe Sana looked at him again and remembered something.
"I don't usually kiss on the first date but, I think you owe me a first kiss,"
"I guess?" Mingyu chuckled nervously. She was pretty and he was even giving himself a favor for kissing those lips but the thought of last night's kiss with Tzuyu bothered him.
Sana was about to lean in when they heard someone not too far, shouting.
"Stop!" The girl said while running.
Mingyu looked left to right to see who it was and he was shocked when he realized it was Tzuyu.
"Tzuyu, what are you doing here?"
Tzuyu tried catching her breath for a few more times before she spoke in a wheezy way. "I was following you when you left your house! Now I don't know why I did and why I'm here either!" She still had trouble breathing from all the running.
"What? Why?"
"You must be Tzuyu," Sana offered her a handshake but Tzuyu only looked at her furiously. "I'll be going then, thanks for the coffee Mingyu."
Mingyu nodded at her and then looked back at Tzuyu.
"Why were you stalking me?"
"I don't know!"
"If you wanted to talk to me why didn't you just came up to me? Instead of following me around?"
"I told you I don't know!"
Tzuyu didn't know what she was feeling right then so she sat at the nearest bench she saw. Mingyu unknowingly followed and sat beside her.
"Last night," she started tearing up and she didn't know why. "Was horrible! I somehow wound up losing two people I love in the span of 5 hours!"
"You didn't lose me,"
"You know what? I don't get you either! You told me last night that you were in love with me and now I see you kissing off another girl?! How do you think that makes me feel?"
"In my defense, I didn't know you were snooping around," he smiled goofily, "besides I think you made it clear that--" he cut himself off when he realized something. "Wait a minute, are you jealous?"
"Jealous?! Why would I be jealous?"
"I don't know I was just asking--"
"Damn right I am Mingyu! I don't know what the hell you've done to me! I woke up this morning completely hang over of you! Now I see you kissing girls you barely even know-- umph!"
Mingyu didn't think of the consequences and what she was about to say and just grabbed her and kissed her. It wasn't his first kiss with her.
But this right now, blew Mingyu's mind off and made Tzuyu's stomach churn. The kiss they share right now was an explosion of feelings they can never say aloud. The kiss said a thousand words that only they could understand.
Until they ran out of breath.
"After you left last night," she declared under her breath, "you made me think. I looked back on all our times together and how you were always there. Always making me happy, always making me feel so good about myself and in return I didn't even notice how you felt." She said still looking down, forehead on his, hands on his chest. She can feel him silently beating and breathing.
"I realized that I'd rather be with you than anybody else,"
He cupped her face to make sure she was looking at his eyes.
"I love you,"
"Mingyu, I--" he felt she was wavering.
"You don't have to say it back if you don't feel the same way. I'm just saying how I feel."
She nodded as she closed her eyes and kissed him on the lips again.
"I think I'm falling in love with you," she chuckled because she can't believe what she's saying. She didn't know what she's feeling either.
"We'll make it work," he smiled and kissed her once again.
