Chapter 2 Injury...

Kuroko Tetsumi's POV

"Ne Teppi what would you like?"

"Iced tea please~" I inserted some coins on the vending machine and got the drinks I wanted.

"Here!" I gave the Iced Tea can to him.

"Thanks!"

Ahh! I miss these kinds of vending machines! In America, they dont usually have vending machines since convience store is pretty much everywhere. I lived a litter away from the big city, and yes. I migrated about a year and a half... I left right after the Teppi and the others graduated. I missed my team so much, especially Teppi, my bestfriend and... him.

"I heard that they went to Rakuzan... right?" I said while sipping my hot cocoa in can.

"Ah yeah" he said, we walked in silence until we reached the park. I sat on the bench near the court where there are some teenagers playing basketball at this kind of night. They looked so happy...

"Well except one." he added. I looked at him and went back on watching at the small court near us.

"Oh yeah, him...Kiri..what?" I said.

"Kirisaki Daichi..." he corrected. oh there? Well... thats close to their home anyways.

"I heard about it..."I said suddenly  then looked at his knee. I looked at it for awhile and looked at his eyes.. those sad eyes.

"I didn't know... that..." I muttered and put my gaze on the ground. The thoughts run through my feelings and it tightens me the fact that I was not here. I was not able to stop that day. I was not able to change what is supposed to happen...

"No Tetsumi. It already happened. Its not your fault." He said, while shaking his head. He then placed his hand on my hand reassuring me that its not my fault about what happened.

I didnt know that this would happen... if I went home early this would not have happened. If only I stopped him... but... it already happened. Teppi pat my head and smiled at me, I could see sadness in him yet he tries to lighten my mood. I know Teppi does not want me to worry so I just smiled at him, to refrain from giving him any stress that might cause his injury to worsen.

After we talked about my stay in America and other stuff, we decided to head back home.

"Bye Teppi! Say hi to grandma and grandpa for me!" I waved.

"Bye Tetsumi! Becareful!" Teppi said and walked to the other direction.

I slightly closed my left eye to further deepen my observation to the person walking away from me...

'His leg. He only have until WinterCup... I need to-'

"Ow!" While I was lost in thought, I didnt noticed that I bumped into something... or someone, and it hurts!

"Itai..."

"You okay?"

"M-My bad!!" He reached his hand and pull me up... "Huh? Tetsumi?"

"E-eh? Taichi?!"

Kagami Taiga's POV

After we changed at the locker room, "Kagami-kun." I felt someones presence and screamed when Kuroko suddenly appeared beside me from nowhere with that mutt on his hands!

"Arf!"

"S-stop doing that!!" I shouted at him.

"Do what?" Kuroko tilted his head.

"Nevermind! What do you want?"

"Could you buy something? Its for coach." He said.

"Sure." He gave a piece of paper to me and I went out of the locker room and went out to buy whatever coach need. Wait... how the hell did I let him pass his errands on me?! damnit!

After I bought something from the store, "Why would Coach need this things anyway?" I looked inside the plastic bag to see tons of tapes and packs of vitamin C. wait... vitamins?! Dont tell shes gonna--?!

"Ow!" I snapped out when I suddenly bumped something...or someone... "itai..."

"You okay?" I reached out my hand to help the person up, "M-My bad!"

"huh? Tetsumi?"

"E-eh? Taichi?!"

Kuroko Tetsumi's POV

"What are you doing? Its already dark!" Taichi scolded me, because im still outside at this hour, well cant blame him, Its kinda late though, Tetsuchi will scold me for this!

"Me and Teppi just hanged out, Its been a year you know!" I puffed and started walking away from him.

"Whatever... I'll walk you home." I turn around and looked at him "You dont have to! Its only blocks away from here Taichi." I said.

" 'Taichi'? " He arched his sokit eyebrows. Is it the new trend these days? Jeez Japan is weird...

"I put 'chi' who I respect." I said in a nonexpressional face like Tetsuchi.

"S-Stop that! You give me the creeps!" He shouted.

After that small conversation, Taichi walked me home to Tetsuchi's apartment. I will be living with my twin brother from now on, I finally convinced our parents to let me stay at Japan until graduation with my brother, And after that, Me and Tetsuchi will go with my father's province here. And MAYBE, he will pass his work to Tetsuchi. I will tell you our father's work next time... :)

"Thanks for walking me home Taichi... Goodnight." I said and went inside the house.

"Bye..." Thats the last word I heard from him before I closed the door.

"Ah Welcome back Tetsumi-chan." Tetsuchi said wearing an apron probably cooking. Kawaii!!

"Tetsuchi! I told you to call me 'Tetsucha!" I spoke in english.

"sorry" T-Tetsuchi said in english! He is soo cute when he speaks in english! I thought him how to speak english while I was away and I was quite surprised that he was able to get it!

"Here." Hmm?

"This is the cellphone number of Coach." I took thepiece of paper from him and nodded.

"Sure! oh and tell me when dinners ready!" I quickly went upstair to my room and changed my uniform to a shorts and a loose pink T-shirt and tied my not so really long hair, only reaches my collarbone.

While I fix my luggages, my mind went to the things I though before I bump into Taichi...

'Teppi's leg... She showed me the video of their game, Seirin vs Kirisaki Daichi... Its kinda... no, Its definitely bad. If Teppi uses too much of his injured leg...'

I took my phone and dialed a number, I placed it on my ears. I have been keeping intouch with her since I planned on going back. We really update ourselves with our lives... and him.

after few rings, [Hello?]

"Makichi, can I visit you?... and your brother?"
