Kim Junmyeon

As I was walking away from her my heart skipped a beat. Beating too fast. Holy shoot...I just said that. Last week I broke up with Joo. It was all good. She said she couldn't handle seeing me unhappy and quiet. Even though she had me what would be the point if it really feels like I'm not really with her?

It was really mature of her to let me go...I know it was hard. But both of us are on our own journey now. Trying to find for destiny, if we couldn't then we wait.

I opened my eyes and scratched my eyes. Another day. I felt the warm heat from my heater, looks like winter won't be leaving soon. But I do love winter than summer. Who loves the sweat and your hair sticking to your face?

Summer is just all about beach and that's it. Winter is cold..almost romantic in my imagination. First snow, Hugs, Coffees with the best person. Who wouldn't want that right?

I made myself some breakfast and took a glance at my phone that is charging. Did she message me? No..maybe not. But why not right?

When I couldn't take it anymore I reached out for my phone and clicked the power button. I stared at my screen. No message. Nothing. She's busy. It's okay I'll see her later and it'll be okay. I guess?

I ate breakfast, took a bath and went out to open up the cafe. I went out and the city is already awake. A few cars and people walking by, smoke coming out of their mouth from the cold air.

I reached the cafe and started my routine. I turned on the breakers and the fairy lights. I refilled the coffee beans and made myself some hot caramel macchiato. Am I the only one guy who loves sweet coffee? Americano is too strong for me I could never drink one.

A few costumers came and I received their orders. After an hour of working Chanyeol, Joo, Eunji and her cousin In Guk came. I made their coffees without them ordering. Because I already know what they want.

In the middle of making Joo's coffee Eunji came at the counter. "Hey...Hot choco right?" I asked her. She smiled "Yes..but also one hot caramel macchiato". I looked at her. For me? "I...already had one don't worry"

"Oh..you did? That's great" she nods and just stood there thinking. "But uhh..it was for In guk. He hates strong coffee." shit...well..that was embarassing. I let out an awkward laugh and nod.

"Right ofcourse! Why would you order a coffee for the barista am I right? Well..coming right up!" I'm pretty sure I'm a red tomato right now. She flashed a small smile that was like a smile for pity for my embarrassment then left.

I want to hit myself rightnow. What was that just now? Why did I? Nothing could ever be worse than that line. I'm the worst. I could die now, hello floor? Could you open up and eat me?

I served them their drinks and I couldn't even look at Eunji. Still not over it. The cafe was packed so I couldn't even talk to them so I just worked while they're talking to eachother for hours.

After for what feels like forever the cafe didn't have any costumers. Me and My friends was all that was left inside. They invited me to sit down and so I did.

"Did you have a drink already?" Joo asked me. She's been talking to Eunji and I take that as a good sign. I stopped and didn't want to answer that question. "Pretty sure he did.." I heard Eunji said with a hint of tease. "Yeah.. I did."

"So..the cafe was great but we've been sitting here for like 5 hours that I feel like when I stand up my butt would still be in this seat." We all laughed at Chanyeol who's checking his chair. "Let's go out! I'm dying here." He said

"Where to?" Joo asked him. "Well then let's ask In guk over here. Where do you want to go?" In guk pondered for a moment and exclaimed "ah!" Like he have a great idea.

"I've never been to Walmido Park!" They all agreed to go to Walmido Park and pressured me into going saying If I don't go they would never go to my cafe. So I had no choice.

Chanyeol drove us to Walmido Park. Joo's sitting at the front seat, beside me is In guk and beside him is Eunji. I wanted to sit beside Eunji but..it turned out this way.

When we arrived at Walmido Park they all ran like kids and took pictures infront of the entrance. Chanyeol and Joo is taking pictures. They look great together. From what I can see they are basically something called 'happy accident'. Although they met in a really bad way they turned out great..

"They really are going out for it" In guk said beside me. "Yeah..they look great though..they look peaceful" In guk knit his eyebrows. "Hm?" He asked. I looked at him and just smiled.

We rode everything we can starting from rollercoaster. Eunji wanted to ride it first and I don't want to but for her...I'M ALL READY! BRING IT ON! After that ride I felt sick and didn't want to ride anything. "Junmyeon you okay?" Eunji asked me. I want to hide my face and ran away. She can't see me like this.

"Y-yeah...it's been so long since I rode a rollercoaster. My body is surprised I-I guess..." she smiled and handed me a medicine. I drank it and rests my head at the table. This day is not going well...

After awhile Chanyeol woke me up. "Hey! Wake up! Let's go ride the Ferris wheel!" He said shaking me. I sat up and groaned. "Alright alright!" They dragged me infront of the Ferris wheel. "I'll go buy some snacks!" Joo said. "Wait you're not coming with us?" I asked. I looked around and the others was not there "..and where is everybody?" I asked again.

Chanyeol didn't answer me and fixed my hair, I dodged his hands. "Stop moving!" He said and grabbed something from his bag. He took out his perfume and sprayed it all over me. "Hey! What the heck Chanyeol!" I waved out the perfume. "Just...trust me okay?" He faced me to the Ferris wheel and pushed me inside the cubicle.

When I was pushed inside I looked back at Chanyeol but the ride already moved up. "Goodluck!" He said. I sighed. What is happening today? I didn't plan any of these. "Hi..." My eyes widened and I turned around. Eunji is sitting there looking at me with confused eyes. "How you feeling?" She asked.

"A-Ah..H-Hi! W-What are you doing here?" I asked still don't know what's happening. "Joo forced me to ride it and I did. I was about to go out but..you came in and the ride started moving..so...yeah." I looked down and shook my head. Chanyeol and Joo...they set us up. They could've just told me.

"I'm sorry..they set us up. I don't know why." I sat infront of her. "Really? You don't know why?" She crossed her arms and raised an eyebrow. "Yup. No idea. Why? Do you?"

She nods. "Obviously! They wanted us to talk..." I blinked. There was a silence. I stared at her eyes then at her lips. There is one thing I learned while growing up. In deciding there's always two options. To take the long shot or the shortcut. At the long shot you would take your time and ignore that miraculous moment. But if you take the shortcut you have to take the risk, do or die. And for me I'd take the shortcut.

I stood up and approached Eunji. I leaned closer to her face. I waited for awhile for a sign of rejection but she didn't move. I move closer and our lips touched. I closed my eyes and feel her lips. It was soft. She tasted like cotton candy.

I pulled away and looked at her eyes. She also looked at mine. She stood up. "What was that for?" Eunji asked. "For everything. For accepting me. For loving me. For being my sun when the darkness left. Eunji I love you...It's you that I love." I wanted to cry but I wouldn't like it if I look ugly at this moment. She smiled at me, her eyes almost crying. "I love you too Junmyeon.."

She wrapped her arms around my neck and pulled me closer. "I like this side of you" I teased her. "Well...you'll only see her now" she pressed her lips to my lips. I wrapped my arms around her waist and pulled her closer, our body touching.

She pulled away and we looked outside. The sun is setting...and I'm watching it set with the love of my life.
