Chapter 3

"Thanks Jason, I really needed that" I said giving him a look of appreciation and grateful smile

"It is my pleasure Kody I care about you" he said looking me in the eyes

"You do?" I asked with hope

"Of course" he said caressing my cheek with his thumb

"I care about you to Jase" I said giving him a small smile

"I shcould go the girls expects me with food" I said laughing softly

"Okay, I will see you" he said kissing my forehead

I started walking away with a smile on my face and quickly went home to change and got all the goodies for Spencer's.

"What took so long we were worried?" Em said as soon as I came threw the door and giving me a hug

"Sorry Em, I saw Jason" I said sheepishly while I blushed

"Ohhhh" the girls said wiggling their eyebrows

We looked at each other and bursted out laughing, we quickly stopped when my phone beeped indicating that I have a new messege. We all expected it to be A but luckily it wasn't it was......Jason?

"It's Jason" I said surprised

"What are you waiting for a sale? Read it" Hanna said impatiently, all of them looking over my shoulder looking at the text with me

From Jase:

Hey Kody, I hope that hug helped you alot and that you are fine now, I care for you and will always be there for you remember that, you are like a sister for me. - Jason

Oh

He only sees me as a sister, bummer

"He hugged you?!" Aria asked a wide grin stretching across all of their faces while I blushed but remeber what he said

"Yea but he said he only see me as a sister" I said with a sad smile

"We took pictures once together can I show you guys?" I asked going to my pictures and opening the once we took together

My favourite one is were he hugged me from behind and kissing my temple while I laughed a bit and then the next one where he was laughing with me, that is when I fell hard for him.

Beep!Beep!Beep!

I got another text messege

Stuck in the friend zone I see poor baby. -A

"This A person is really making me mad" I said sadness gone and replaced with anger

"Let's not think about it" Emily said trying to get me to clam down

"Back to business, show us those pictures" Spencer said with a smirk making me grin from ear to ear

After I showed them the pictures I told them I'm quickly going to take a shower. When I came out drying my hair with a towel I saw the girls huddled up in a circle around something.

"What are you guys doing?" I asked cautiously

"Oh nothing" Hanna said nonchalant but I can see Emily getting uncomfortable

"Oh really? Then why does Aria have my phone in her hand?" I asked raising an eyebrow

"Fine! We sent Jason that photo that you love so much you know the one were his arms are around your waist and kissing your cheek while you laughed, I'm sorry please don't be mad" Emily quickly said at once

"What?! Are you actually out of your minds he can find out that I like him" I whined

"Chill we added a text saying ' miss the good old memories' so don't worry he doesn't expect a thing" Aria said

"Okay I'm going for a quick run to clear my mind I'll be back in 30 minutes" I said changing into my sports bra, short shorts and running shoes, I grabbed my earphones and phone and was out the door with the girls saying they will watch a movie. I had to run passed the Dilaurentis's old house because they and the Hastings are neighbours so I couldn't ignore Jason really but still. I jogged to the grill to get a takeaway coffee cause I felt tired and began thinking about the things that happened so far these last couple of years, wow! A lot has happened.

When I got back at Spencer's it was dark and the girls are fast asleep so I threw blankets over them and went threw my phone to look if I have any messages

1 new messege

From who can that be? It came in like a minute ago, my heart beat picked up when I saw it was Jason. It read:

From Jase:

Me too Kody, I missed you alot, sweet dreams and remember I'm always here for you;). Xxx - Jason

I am literally going to have a heart attack! Well it is understandable when your crush sends you a messege like that. With a smile on my face I fell asleep.

"Morning sleepyhead" Aria said to me when I woke up the next morning coming downstairs

"Coffee?" Spencer asked me

"No Spence your coffee is to strong" I said looking the coffee in disgust

"Meanie" she muttered making me chuckle

"Let's go to school" Emily said and all of us headed to school, time for education

~at school by Hanna and Aria's lockers~

"Can Hanna Marin, Spencer Hastings, Emily Fields, Aria Montgomery and Kody Reed please come to the school office thank you" a voice in the intercom said

We all went to the office and saw detective Wilden standing inside

"Hi girls! I'm here to ask you a few questions about the day Alison Dilaurentis went missing" he said taking out a notepad and pen

"We have already answered all of your questions a year ago" I said slightly annoyd

"Yes but you have to give a statement Ms. Reed" he said

We all sat down together on one couch

"Where were you the night Alison went missing?" He asked

"Well we all had a sleepover in my barn" Spencer answered

"Did Alison acted strange?" He asked

"No, she was perfectly fine" Aria answered

"When did you notice Alison was missing?" He asked

"I woke up from the thunder and saw Ali was missing so I woke up Kody and we searched the whole backyard but we couldn't find her than we heard her scream and looked in the Dilaurentis's yard and my house and the streets in the neighbourhood but we couldn't find her" Spencer answered

"Omay thank you ladies you can go back to class now, we will let you know if we have any more questions" he said and left

Beep!Beep!Beep!Beep!

Our phones went of in unison

Who is this person? It is really starting to freak me out, we looked at each other than around us not seeing anyone.

Whoever A is I am going to find him or her amd them I'm gonna strangle them, that is a promise.
