Chapter 13: Missing

Bill hadn't gotten out of bed for days. He hadn't slept or eaten for what seemed like an eternity. He felt so guilty.... " guilty"  The word rang in his head like a bell. Bill trudged into his bathroom.  He looked at himself in the mirror. "Miserable. " He murmured.  He was quite familiar with the word. He took a shower and slowly put on his clothes. He decided to go take a look at his orb. The orb that showed what the person desired to see of course. "Mabel pines. " Bill whispered. The orb slowly showed the girl. She was with her brother giggling In a hospital gown. She began to tell her brother something. Bill couldn't make out what she said. She went to the bathroom and locked the door. She turned on the water and began to undress. Bill's face was redder than a tomato. He quickly shut his eyes and ran out of the room. He still loved the girl with a passion.

-MEANWHILE-

Mabel didn't know why but she felt like she was being watched. She ignored the feeling and continued to shower. The only thing she could think about was the person she hated most. Bill. She shoved the thought away. But just as quickly the thought came back. " Darn!" She cursed. She kept thinking about Bill. The more she did the sadder she felt. Tears began to fall. She let them mix with the water. She began to sob and sunk to the floor. She hated it.   She missed Bill. She knew what she had to do. She made up her mind. She would sneak away when everyone was gone. It had to be done.
