Chapter 29 - In the Deep Sea

We are now submerging to the deep sea, i'm standing beside zoro who is staring at the sea. We are protected by the bubble coat made by Rayleigh. It's really good to see this in person.

"The beauty of nature! I feel like my eyeballs will pop out because of surprise, though i do not have eyeballs! YOHOHOHO!" Brook exclaimed, i just shook my head in amusement.

"I've already seen it.." Zoro stated with a bored tone also matching his expression.

"Yeah, it because you got on the wrong ship!" Sanji retorted with annoyed expression. "Let us be surprise with this!!"

"Sanji-kun is right, Zoro. Just pretend this is your first time seeing this!!" I added same with the same expression of Sanji.

I can notice Zoro's left eyebrow twitch because of what we said.  Sanji stare at me when i said that but lucky he did not get a nosebleed.

Robin commented that she is amaze of the roots of the archipelago reaching the ocean floor. Chopper tried to imitate the two fisher with puffed cheeks but failed to do it. Usopp is panicking because he have a feeling that there is someone behind the trees. Then, a giant fish passing behind the Sunny. I stare in awe because it's so enormous.

Luffy shouted in excitement and he even tried to catch some fish. He jumped up but he crash to the bubble of the ship. Usopp stare at him in a little shock. Just like an idiot getting interested, the first mate also prepared to catch fish. Really these two...

"There are some tasy looking fish."

Both of them were punch at the back of their heads by Usopp and Chopper, they have now a swollen bumps in their head.

"CUT IT OUT, YOU TWO!!!" Usopp snapped.

"IF THE SOAP BUBBLE BREAKS, I'M GOING TO KILL BOTH OF YOU, IF YOU DO THAT AGAIN!!" Chopper continued.

Sanji asked Nami how the bubble works but before Nami can reply, sanji got a nosebleed when the navigator turn to him. Luffy, Usopp and Chopper got panicked because if what happen. While me, i just facepalmed because of Sanji's pervert side. I'm worried about his blood getting empty because of his nosebleeds. Right, I forgot i'm in a fictional world where impossible things will really happen.

"How strange. Even the soap bubble can stand against the strong pressure of the sea, it's still possible to be pierce instantly.." Robin wondered. I sweatdropped because she really have a dark thoughts. Franky has a disbelief expression.

Luffy, Chopper and Usopp got worried on Sanji's condition. The reindeer and Usopp immediately assist Sanji who continued to chant about real women. Zoro and I got shock because of Usopp have a blood transfusion to Sanji. Usopp have a multiple blood sacks. Where did he even got that many blood sacks?

"What happened to you Sanji?! It's like you got weakness against seeing real woman!" Usopp panicked.

"This isn't you!!" Chopper also panicked.

Brook then commented that if Sanji got really addicted on seeing real women, what if he really met a mermaid he will really die in blood loss.

Then chopper suggested that we will have a blood transfusions once we reach Fishman Island. Then he finish putting the last bandage on Sanji's body.

Robin then continued on her analysis on the soap bubble. She is just stating calmly the worst scenarios if the bubble break. Usopp got freaked out on that. Nami then explained also what will happen if the sea monsters attack the bubbles coating the ship. I stand side by side with Usopp and Chopper.

Suddenly, a large fish appeared behind the ship and about to eat the whole thing. Usopp and Chopper then cling to me and yelled in terror. I nearly got deaf because they shouted on my ears.

"Y/N USE YOUR FLAME TO BURN IT!!" Usopp said while still clinging on my right arm. Chopper started to shake because of fear.

"I want to but It will not reach them.." I response and they really cling on me.

"What??!!! You want to burn them!?!?" Nami barked with her shark teeth expression.

I shrugged and stated. "Just a suggestion.."

Nami then continue to explain, she said the we really just avoid the sea creatures and rocks so that the bubble will not break. Usopp remove his self from me and try to calm his self.

"I see!! It's really strong to protect us!"

"However, all the ships want to reach the Fishman island got destroyed so we need to be careful.."

"WHAT WILL HAPPEN TO US THEN?!?!?" Chopper, Usopp and Me said in chorus.

"If i use my gatling, i'm sure i will catch all the fish!" Luffy declared stupidly.

"Then how about we compete who will catch more fish?" Zoro suggested.

Chopper and Usopp then scold them for being thinking stupidly like that.

Usopp then said that he don't think that it will be very dangerous to reach the Fishmen Island. Luffy remembered that he got a bunch of lunch box and he offered us to eat the food. I'm also hungry so i will just eat it even the wench made it.

Franky then asked the Navigator if it will be on safe to let the current to take us. Nami then assured that we will just continue to let the current to take us. Franky then got serious and he said the he want to say something important. We started to eat and Franky informed that Hachi really planned to guide is but he suffered on major injury and he wants to recovered from it. Same with duval, the reason why the ship is still intact now because of the shichibukai who guard it for the past two years. He will just complete his mission if a member of the straw hats return. Just like in the anime, kuma really guard the ship because he allowed him self to be experimented by the world goverment.

The crew question the true intention of Kuma for protecting the ship for two years. But still they are thankful of Kuma because of what he done. Sanji also wake up a while ago.

"Sanji! Why don't you eat lunchboxes from the Island of woman?" Luffy suggested, grinning.

"The Island of Woman... Why i should be thankful to Kuma? Do you have any idea where i train for two years?!?! What kind of training did you do in Island of Woman, Luffy!!!??" Sanji roared. I feel sorry for you Sanji...

Brook try to comfort sanji by singing, that got the cook irritated.

"How deep we are submerging right now?" Luffy wondered, staring at the top of the sea.

"It's getting darker and darker.." Usopp added, climbing on the stairs.

I activate my flame, the flame surround my body to give some light, i adjust it to be dim. The crew wondered where the light came from. They turn towards their new crew mate. They stare in awe because it's looks really magical.

"Good thinking Y-N!!" Usopp and Franky said at the same time. They got near to me and put their hands near the flame. "It's also comforting..." They sigh like they are blessed.

The others also followed and got near me. They also feel the comfortable warm coming from the flame.

"This is nice.." Luffy sigh and lay on my lap.

"We went through the euphoric zone and now we are at the bottom of twilight zone. We must at 1000 meters below."

"It's so quiet. It's feel like we are flying in the sky." Robin mused.

"The sky huh? I will use what i studied in Weateria for two years." Nami stated.

"Whale! There's a whale!" Chopper suddenly exclaimed.

"LABOON! LABOON!" Brook yelled.

Luffy got up to stare at the whale. "No, that's old man Whitebeard."

Usopp then survey the area using the telescope. He suddenly yelped and said. "There's something at 6'o clock! There is a ship kind of thing coming from behind!"

"WHAT?!"

"It's coming towards us!!"

A pirate ship with a caribou's head got on the right side of the sunny, they had a strange people boarding on it. It's caribou.

"They are gonna come through the bubble!" Nami panicked.

"Who are they?" Luffy asked.

"There is no time to asked! We must get out of here!" Usopp said.

Sanji went to grabbed the wheel of the sunny, putting some distance, but the other ship still persisting to slammed their ship against us. A yell sound like cow, echoed. Seems nami got familiar of the yelled.

The bubbles got connected, the enemy started to board sunny. Nami got the attention of the sea cow. The moment it's eyes fell on Luffy and Sanji, it got scared. As i remember in the anime, sanji and luffy on the way to retrieve nami, encounter this cow. But they bully it causing to get scared of them.

The other ship's captain yelled at his men to get ready. He ordered his crew to kill us while we are processing the situation we are in.

The moment the long sleeves creepy face jumped on the deck of sunny, the sea cow turn away while howling and crying. I stare blankly at the long sleeves started to laugh not realizing that he is alone right now.

Then he order to fire the gatling gun thing. He wait for his crew mate and he got confuse because it did not happen. He got nervouse because he look behind him and did not see his crewmates.

Franky then grab him and nearly throw him out of the bubble.

He plead to not throw him and he also said that God is watching. Franky slammed him on the deck and hold his one leg to pin him down.

"Stop making excuses! You just talk about firing a gatling gun and slaughtering us!" Franky snarled.

I also stand up to confront the creepy captain. I deactivate my flame. He really give me creeps..

"Who are you? You are the captain of that pirate ship, aren't you?" Zoro demanded.

Caribou immediately make a lame excuse saying that he is a slave on that ship. He then ask a favor to stay on the ship for a while. Chopper feel sorry for him.

"Hey, can i ask something? What's with the sea cow pulling the ship?" Nami inquired as she came down from the stairs in the upper level of the ship.

"Oh? What have we have here? Quite a cutie. You're the Cat burglar, aren't you?" Caribou asked licking his lips without shame.

Sanji kick his face for checking out the navigator. The moment Sanji want to assured Nami, he got a massive nosebleed causing him again to fly out from the bubble.

"That is getting annoying!!" Usopp barked.

"It's just a sea monster we caught in these sea. Using it to pull the ship when in underwater. Just how the professionals do it." Caribou explained while blood coming out from his mouth.

"Huh? So that's how it works!!" Luffy chirped.

I lean towards the Man and asked. "So what do you want from us?"

Caribou got frozen on his spot when he stare at me. His eyes immediately turn into hearts and his tongue is out. I fastly stand meter away from him.

"Woah! It's the beautiful girlfriend of Red haired shanks!! You are truly gorgeous in person! What do you say, when you break up with Red haired... Do you want to be my girlfriend?" He grinned perversely while looking at me up and down.

I narrowed my eyes on him and raise my right hand to activate my flame. Making it hotter.

"What you say if i burn you alive? Do you want it?" I grinned sadistic.

He got scared on that and shake his head side by side because of fear.

"Forgive me ma'am! Don't tell your boyfriend to hunt me down!!! I'm begging you, GOD IS WATCHING!!!"

Before i can retort, my view was block and i was hold gently in my left hand to get me away from the creepy man. I see a man's hand and look up and see it's Zoro.

"Don't mind the creep, Stay calmed." He then sigh and turn to me. "You are really scary when you are angry, Y-n."

I look away and remove my hand from him. "Yeah, whatever."

He then grinned and pat my head. I look up to him and scowl. He just show me his rare smile.

Unknown to us, the crew and the creepy man stare at the sweet moment of the pirate hunter and flame maiden.

"Zoro is smiling around her..." Usopp whisper to chopper.

"Yeah your right.." Chopper whisper back.

Robin and Nami smirked at the moment, while Brook and Franky just stare. Sanji is still unconcious and Luffy is now smiling while staring at the scene. He feel something heavy on his chest because of it.
