Chapter 21 - Farewell to the Red

I'm so sorry that i could not update last night because i have to study for my exams. So yeah i got busy.

Anyway, Enjoy this update guys!!

The day has come, and i will say goodbye to this island. Also, to Shanks and his crew, who i become really close during my stay here. And the problem is that Shanks is very clingy to me. He won't leave my side for the past days. He even succeed making me sleep in his ship. Since it's my last day with them, we party very much in the deck of the ship causing them to get so drunk. I refuse the booze they give to me because i don't drink so i just drink my orange juice for the whole party.

Well, even i sleep in their ship because they won't let me to return to my rented inn because it's very far to walk towards the town and it's middle of the night. I sleep in the captain's room which belong to Shanks since he is the captain of the ship. Shanks decided he will sleep on the floor and he will let me have the bed, but i don't him to adjust for me i claim that i will sleep on the floor and he will have the bed.

Shanks wants to argue with me but i keep being stubborn and he just go with it. He give me a spare of blanket and pillow and we sleep peacefully.

In the morning, i just find my self in the bed with the arm of Shanks, holding my waist close to his body and because of shock i accidentally kick him hard out from the bed causing him to fall and woke up fast. I feel guilty after i realized what i did so that's why i keep apologizing to him and he told me that he is not angry.

The reason he put me in the bed because i was shaking because of the coldness if the floor and that is why he decided to put me in bed and put a pillow between us. He did not realize that he got hug me during the sleep.

I'm now in the harbor preparing to sail and the red-haire pirates are here also. I said my goodbyes to the townspeople here who i got to know and it's very hard to leave them because they were sobbing very hard while i just sweat dropped staring at them.

After i check that my things are all here i turn towards to Shanks and his crew.

"So, this is it. Don't worry guys i will surely write you a letter or called you if i have a chance." I assured then and smile at them staring each of them.

Then it happen, they started to sob, except for Ben Beckmann, Lucky roo and Shanks. Yassop is crying.

"Wahhh! You will really leave y-n chan???!! Just stay!!"

"Yeah!! I'm sure boss will let you join the crew!!"

"We will miss you Ms. Y-n!!"

I can feel my eyes are getting wet, i immediately wipe it out. These guys....really...

"You guys, you are making this hard for me! Just take care of yourselves okey?" I said to them and they surrounded me and have a group hug. They give me space when i approach Lucky roo who is eating meat. I just him in the stomach because i can not reach him in the neck. Dammit, why men are so tall in this world?

"Luck-kun! I will surely miss doing pranks with you!" I said and i feel his hand patting me in the head. I look up and see him already lookinh at me.

"Same to you, Y-n chan! Take care and call us when you have a problem!" He stated and i nod at him. I move away from him and approach Ben Beckmann, who put his hand in my head.

"Just like what Lucky said, call us when you need to talk with, okey? We will surely listen to you and also take care of your self." Then he motion me to approach Shanks who is turning his back away from us and staring at the ocean.

"Shanks, I——." I was cut off because Shanks immediately hug me tight and bury his face in the crook of my neck.

"Y-n chan?" He started and i hummed as a response. "Do you really need to leave? I will miss our time together and i don't know if it will happen again. Please just stay...." Shanks begged and i can feel wetness in my neck. Wait... shanks is really crying right now?

I remove my self from him and stare at his eyes. His eyes are glassy because of tears, i cupped his face and wipe away the tears escaping from his eyes.

"Shanks... we already talk about this... i promise luffy that i will meet him again in two years. I need to settle the things that i need to do before meeting him... please don't be sad i'm sure fate will let us meet again and we will have a second date... don't worry i will write you a letter or called you. "I assured and smile at him. He sigh and close his eyes and leaned more to my hands.

After that he open his eyes and leaned down and i can feel a quick kiss in my forehead. I feel my cheeks getting warm.

"Shanks!" I whine and he just laugh and he hold my hand open and put something on it. I realized it's a vivre card pointing towards him.

"You know vivre card right? Just follow that if you want to visit me, okey?" Shanks explained and i nod at him.

I just sigh and move away from him and walks toward the boat that i will use to sail. Shanks buy it for me even i want to decline he will not surely listen to me so i just let him. (The reader boat is just like the boat of sanji when he join luffy during the baratie arc.)

I hopped on in the boar and turn towards them. I wave my arms to them and some nod at me while the other wave their hands. Shanks wink at me and i just shake my head because of it.

When i feel the boat moving because of the waves. I put my arms down and open the book that Mirarin give to me. I see a arrow in the page pointing towards the direction of the island i need to go. I receive a message from Mirarin in this book after i talk to her on what is the result of my investigation. Mirarin got confused when i told her about the images that i saw when i touch the Old Narra tree.

She said that i will be need to be more focused on my mission next and also avoid hanging out with men. I just chuckle nervously when i receive that.

Anyway, i'm really amazed on the book that Mirarin give to me because it's so magical! Well, i can ask the time here when i write into it. It's 10:30 am now according to the clock in this book. Also, i can ask direction when i don't know the way of the place that i want to go. Man, i hope mirarim will let me have this book when i go back to the real world.

I feel my self getting sleepy and i decided that i will enter the cabin and take a nap. I leave the book at the top of the roof of the cabin and write to the page to follow the arrow pointing to the next island that i will visit. I hope no one will disturb me, i'm sure no one will disturb me. I thought very assured.

I hope i did not said that very soon..

I woke up and here some foot steps outside of the cabin, i feel my self sweating because of fear. What the hell? Don't tell me it's a thief or a marines here to capture me..

I activate my flame and form a baseball bat. I walk towards the door and i can feel my breathing is getting fast because of fear. I slowly grab the door knob. I peak outside and see a sillouette of a person standing in the front of the boat i cannot see the person face but i'm very sure it's a man. He is turning his back from me. I slowly walk towards him and raise the baseball bat and bang, i hit him in his back and  the person yelped because i keep hitting him.

"What the—— OW!! STOP IT!!"

He try to shield his face and i just feel a kick on my stomach, i fell in the deck of the ship because of the kick. The person pinned me and got in the top of me. He hold my both arms above my head. I try to move but the unknown guy is so much strong compare to me.

Then, i feel my self flying because the person hold me in my shoulder i can feel a pointed nail in my shoulder. Luckily, the person is holding me gently. I feel my self fall  on something hard and i stand up and immediately make a second baseball bat made of flame. Before i can swing it to the person who kidnapped me, i feel my self unable to do it because of the glares pointed at me. I gulped fearfully.  I feel my weapon slipping out from my hand and raise my arms, surrendering.

It's the remnants of the Whitebeard pirates.

Shit, this is too much for the start of my day.

I can still feel the glares of the Whitebeard pirates. The tension is too much and i see that they are pointing their weapons at me. The tension was eased because of a person moaned because of pain. We follow where the sound came from and it belong to the first division commander,  Marco the Phoenix who is laying down in the deck.

"Y-n, that was a hell greeting-yoi! You hit me very hard!" He complained and the reality hit me. The person that i hit was none other than Marco who save me from Aokiji in the War of the Greatest.

"Shit! Dude, i'm really sorry!! I thought you were a thief! But you kick me also you know!!" I stated and stopped my self walking towards him because of the weapon still pointing at me. I gulped.

I can notice Marco motion his crew mate to keep the weapon down. They followed their commander and still tense around me.

"I just depend my self you know, sorry about that-yoi!" Marco said then he walk towards me smiling but he suddenly stop. I raise my eye brow because of that.

"Y-n..." Marco started and i feel my self shake because he suddenly stare at me in serious expression.

"Y-Yes?" I answered.

"Are you... really the lover of Red haired Shanks?" He asked and wait for my reply.

I blink and feel my self chuckling until it turn into laugh. I did not realize that the other commanders arrived and stare at me in confused.

I stop my self laughing and stare at him. "No, the government was just being dramatic."

"But the newspaper said...."

He stop when he see me shaking my head.

"You know, the government are always making stories. The truth behind that picture is that i need to spend my day with Shanks in order for him to forgive him because i accidentally spit water on him. Don't believe the news."

I stare in confuse because Marco sigh like the problem in his shoulder got lifted. He smile at me and walk towards me. He stop a meter away from me. I need to apologize to them.

I compose my self and bow down to them.

"Sorry for my rudeness earlier... i just defend my self... even other people will get scared when they hear a foot step walking close  even they are alone right? I understand that you want just to defend you crew mate."

Marco hold my shoulder and help me stand straight and he stare at my eyes. He remove his hands from my shoulder.

"Don't worry about it-yoi! I'm glad that i meet you again and also thank you for saving Ace-yoi from that hit! You surely made a show in the War!!" He said and i feel my self getting shy because i remember again that moment.

Then i notice that they bow at me at the same time.

"THANK YOU FOR SAVING ACE, MISS Y-N!!"

I jump because of the loudness of their voice. I just rubbed the back of my neck because of shyness. A thought enter my mind, i turn towards Marco.

"Can i asked something??" I said and Marco nod at me. The crew stop what they are doing and wait on the words that i will say next.

"Why did you bring me here?" After i said that, the tension came back. I feel my self walking backwards because of their stares. They are staring at me like i was a prey caught by them. I even notice they are staring at my body, i try to shield my body from them. Luckily, i'm wearing a long sleeves and a pants with some slippers. Don't tell me that they will do "that" to me. Please don't i'm still young!! I wish i just listen to Shanks.

"You are a woman..." Izo started still staring at my body.

"Um.... Y-Yeah...?" I answered. I just shuttered.

I blink because of shock because they suddenly bowed low towards me. I feel my mouth went open because of it.

"Please cook for us!!!" They said in chorus.

Wait what?
