Miyeon faked a smile at Lisa and turned to the audience.

"Please give a round of applause for Miss. Lalisa Manobon." She said smiling and turned to face Lisa again. "Thank you so much for your time Miss Manoban!" She said with a fake smile and Lisa went off stage completely ignoring Miyeon.

The event continued as The Mayor came and gave a speech. they also gave some gifts and appreciation letters to some of the Professors.

Miyeon thanked the guests and students who came to the event and went backstage as people started to leave the room.

"Augh! that was mentally exhausting! I need to sleep a whole day to recover from this shit!" Miyeon thought and sat on the couch that was there and took off her shoes.

She didn't care what people might think of her. she was standing there in this heels for more than 4 hours and she couldn't take it anymore.

"You were great!" Sana came and sat next to her.

"Thank you! you did great too I can't even imagine how hard it must've been to handle all of it." Miyeon replied.

"Thanks! it was but it's done now." Sana said and smiled.

They sat in silence for a couple of seconds when Sana started to speak.

"Actually... I was wondering if you'd like to hang out more often. " She said.

"Sure! why not. Do you wanna go grab some early dinner? I haven't eaten lunch and I assume you haven't either. " Miyeon replied wishing Sana would say yes. she really didn't want to eat alone.

"Yeah let's go I'm STARVING" Sana said dramatically and put her hand on her stomach that made Miyeon chuckle at her cuteness.

"Miyeon~ah? Can I ask you something? " Sana asked as they were sitting in front of each other eating their dinner.

"Yeah go on!" Miyeon said and put down her cup.

"What's your ideal type?" Sana asked.

"Suddenly? " Miyeon chuckled and Sana nodded.

"I like cute people. i mean, I like cute things in general including cute people." She answered.

'Oh! That's easy' Sana thought.

"Have you found it yet? I mean that cute person." She asked waiting for the brunette to say no so that she could make a cheesey comment.

"Yes." Miyeon answered immediately.

"What? Really? But... I thought you were single!" Sana asked surprised.

'That brat! wait until I see you again Chae! you said she was single.' Sana thought.

She had done her research yesterday. she knew that Miyeon is single and that she is into girls but now, one of them was proven wrong.

"Well yeah I'm single but I like someone. " Miyeon said and Sana replied with a tiny "oh!"

"Why? you wanted to ask me on a date?" Miyeon said staring at her and Sana was surprised.

She didn't saw that coming at all.

"Well, i thought ... you know?... maybe I... I could try?" Sana said awkwardly. "but you were quicker to ask me out anyways. " She continued teasingly to lessen her embarrassment.

Miyeon laughed at Sana's comment and decided not to tease her anymore. She wanted to be friends with Sana.

"Ani! I just asked you on a friendly date." Miyeon said.

"Yeah... friendly date." Sana mumbled and grabbed a piece of chicken with her chopsticks.

"I'm sorry Unnie... I know what were you trying to say but... i think it's better if we... you know-" Miyeon started rambling as she suddenly felt guilty.

"No no! it's ok! You don't need to apologize. I get it completely." Sana cut her off smiling like always. Miyeon the girl never stopped smiling even when she was hurt.

Miyeon smiled back and they both stayed silent for a couple of seconds when Sana decided to talk. "Then can we keep it this way? I mean at least we can be friends right?" She said and Miyeon nodded immediately.

"Ofcourse! to be honest I really enjoyed spending time with you today unnie." The younger girl responded.

"Yeah,Me too." Sana smiled.

They talked a bit about fhe event and they were enjoying their dinner when Miyeon's phone started ringing.

"Sorry" She mouthed to Sana to be polite and picked her phone up.

"Hello?"

"Unnie... Do you know where Minnie unnie is?" Yuqi asked and Miyeon became worried by her tone.

"No. I haven't seen her since this morning. why?"

"So you haven't heard the news..." yuqi mumbled.

"What news? " Miyeon asked and put her chopsticks down. At this point she was sure something bad has happened and it had something to do with Minnie.

"Long story short ,Some one has sent some photos for her and she has found out that lisa cheated on her and now i can't find her anywhere." Yuqi said with a worried tone.

"What? i'll go home now maybe she's there." Miyeon replied.

"i don't think so. i went to your dorm but no one opened the door so i asked the guard and he said that he hasn't seen her enter the building." Yuqi replied.

"Shit... i'll visit the places she might go. can you try and contact Shuhua and Lisa? see if they have any idea." Miyeon said "ok. let me know if you found her." Yuqi answered before hanging up.

"I'm so sorry Sana unnie some thing came up i have to go." Miyeon said and started to collect her things quickly.

"It's ok. take care." Sana said.

"Will you be ok going home?" Miyeon asked cause they went there with her car.

"Yeah i can manage don't worry." Sana replied understanding.

"Thank you so much unnie. talk to you later." She bid her goodbye and Sana gave her a quick hug.

Miyeon started the engine quickly and started to drive. "where are you Minnie?" She asked out loud even though no one was in the car with her.

She started tapping her fingers on the wheel as she grew more and more nervous. Maybe she should've told her before she found out herself. maybe she made the wrong decision but there was nothing she could do about it now.

She thought about all of the places Minnie might go when suddenly some thing came to her mind.

Namsan mountain park.

She drove there quickly and went to Minnie's favorite spot on the top of mountain.

Minnie used to go there whenever she missed home and her parents.

The older girl looked around and saw Minnie sitting there alone watching the city as sun was almost gone by now.

Miyeon parked her car in the distance and went to buy some drinks cause she knew they were going to need it.

She came back quickly and Minnie was still sitting at the same spot. Miyeon sent a message to Yuqi saying that she has found Minnie and went towards her.

Minnie flinched as she noticed someone sat beside her. she looked up and saw Miyeon. her eyes were stinging from crying and her vision was blurry.

Miyeon opened a can of beer without saying anything and put it next to Minnie before opening another one for herself.

Miyeon was slow when doing everything and it always made Minnie impatient but today and at this moment, she really enjoyed watching Miyeon slowly opening beers.

It calmed her.

Miyeon didn't say anything but her presence was enough for Minnie to feel safe.

They just sat there drinking and staring at the view.

"How is it that you're always in the right place at the right time?" Minnie asked Miyeon her voice husky from crying.

Miyeon chuckled at Minnie's question.

"I'm glad you think that way." She answered calmly.

There was silence once again until Miyeon decided to speak.

"So? you wanna talk about what happened?" She asked.

"You don't know?" Minnie asked surprised.

"Not really." Miyeon said and Minnie took out her phone from her pocket.
