I'm like gonna be so bad at this, but I'll try. The title says it all. This is where Tamlin ditches Feyre and then Rhys comes and then blady blah yeah. Btw, Feyre and Rhys are gonna already know each other coz I can't be bothered to make it into a whole story thingy. But it probz will end up that way 😜 !! Forgive me if I ruin this...

(Feyre P.O.V.)

He left me! I couldn't believe it.

Tamlin said things I didn't like all the time, and I still forgave him because I knew he was joking. And yet when I said one thing wrong - one thing wrong, he couldn't let that go. And now he had left me all alone on the street in the pouring rain in the dark. I didn't know where I was, and I didn't care as I sank to the wet ground. I leaned my had back against the wall and cried.

He said he cared about me. Liar. He always had been. Everything he said and did was always a lie. But I was too stupid to see that until it hit me right in the face. And now it had hurt me.

Good. I deserved it. Everyone always said I was too harsh on myself, but what could I do? I had thought I had finally found the right guy, the one to make everything happen. We had been together for two years. I had had two bloody years to see this coming and no, I couldn't see the future but I should have known him well enough to see what he could do to me. But I truly didn't know him, even after two years.

I sank further into the ground and cried harder. I was being stupid. All these depressing thoughts were just making me more depressed.

I was definitely being stupid. So what? I had lost an idiot. No big deal in that. It happens to every girl. And anyway, I didn't want a guy like that. One who thought he was best and just ditched his long term girlfriend like it was nothing.

I would move on. I was not going to sit here and cry over Tamlin for hours.

And besides, if I stayed here, some psychotic druggie would probably come and kidnap me. I should probably call my brother. I was just lifting my head from my knees when I heard my name.

"Feyre? Is that you?"

Oh, please. Not Tamlin. Why was he here? I couldn't face him. I didn't need to deal with him right now. I began to walk away.

But I realized it wasn't Tamlin when the voice came again.

"Feyre?! Hey, wait up!"

It was Rhysand.

We had know each other for years. He was two years older than me and my older brother's best friend. He was always over at our house and I guess I was kind of like his sister. Except that I was totally in love with him.

Yes, I know. Mor, my best friend, always teased me about him and told me to just tell Rhys. But she would say that. Mor was the type who didn't care what anyone thought about her and when she thought something, she'd say it outright to that person. I admired her for that.

Rhys and I were okay mates, but he usually hung around with the popular, good looking guys. My brother included. Though I didn't just admit that my brother is good looking. Nope. Rhys played for the football squad and had all the girls drooling around him so I knew I had no chance. He wasn't the type to mess with girls and just sleep with them for fun, but he had had a lot of girlfriends. Duh.

I had never admitted it to Cassian, my older brother, but I had had a crush on Rhys since grade 9. I just didn't think it'd be right. I mean, he and Rhys were like brothers. I guess the reason I never really wanted to tell anyone was because why in hell would a guy like Rhys, a guy who could have any girl he wanted, pick me? I was just the little sister of his best mate. Like his sister. As I said. I guess that was partly why I had been with Tamlin. Because I couldn't have the guy I wanted. I know - sad.

I turned to face Rhys. "What are you doing out here at this time, alone?" he asked. But he stopped when he saw my tear stained face and his expression immediately became concerned.

"Are you OK, Feyre?"

My lip trembled. No, I was not OK.

It was instinct to just throw my arms around him and begin sobbing again. He had hugged me so many times that it just felt normal. Like I was hugging my brother, or my friends.

When my tears had quitened, Rhys pulled away. "Right, I'm taking you home right now. OK? And tell me everything, Fay."

I smiled at that. 'Fay' had been his nickname for me ever since I was small.

So I told him all of it on the drive back home.

When we were standing outside my front door, Rhys turned to me. "Do you want me to tell Cass or will you?"

"I think.... I think I need some time to just.... Get over it."

He nodded.

Rhys smiled at me. "Ok, no more broken hearts. Your big bro's mad about you so if he suspects something's wrong, he'll ask me. And if I think it's best for you, I'll tell him. Ok?"

I nodded. "Right. And Rhys, thanks."

Rhys winked at me. "Anytime, princess."

I internally groaned. Why did he call me 'princess'? I hated it. That meant he must think of me as some little baby. Like his sister.

Exactly what I did not want.

TO BE CONTINUED...

Ok, I lied. This is gonna become kinda like a story. I should really start a new book on this but I think it'd also be cool to just keep it on here. Cassian as Feyre's older brother? I know. Stupid. But she needed to have an older brother. And I know that's not sticking to ACOTAR, but oh well. And btw, she's probably not gonna have any sisters in here. So screw Nesta and Elain (no offence!). Azriel may make an appearance. As one of Rhys's friends. The thing with ACOTAR people is they all have such strange names that it's so hard to fit them in to a modern story. Cool names, but strange. Anyways, thanks for reading! And comment if you liked.
