Tamlin comes Part 2!!!!

Sorry for updating so frequently but I have sooooo many ideas that I feel like I'm gonna forget them all. And writing them down doesn't make it any easier because I'll get even more ideas. But my head's too crammed with all of these ones atm that there's no more space in my head to even think. I am definitely gonna fail my chemistry test tomorrow.... :/..... anyway, hope you enjoy this. 

(Feyre P.O.V.)

I felt it in the air before he came. Spring and.... power. Tamlin. 

Right as I came to my senses and lunged for the door, he appeared in front of it. Dressed in his usual green tunic; no crown, he looked even worse than usual. His features were hard and his mouth set into a grim line before he reached for me, saying, "You're coming home with me. Now." I froze in fear and tried to shout down the bond to Rhysand when Tamlin came a step closer until he was right in my face. He pinned both of my hands together and snarled. 

"Don't you dare try to use that thing between you two. I don't want to hurt you, Feyre but I will use this," I blanched at the sight of the faebane he held in his other hand, "If I have to."

I would get myself out of this. Play my way out of it. Cleverly. Just like the High Lady I was. 

So I sneered at him. "Take me with you, then. Lock me away. But you can never make me love you. And he will come for you one day, Tamlin. Break you apart piece by piece. As you broke me when you locked me in that house."

"I was trying to protect you."

"Protect me? Are you crazy?" As I spoke, I sent all my fears down the bond. Making sure Tamlin was distracted so he couldn't scent that on me. "I was dying in that house. And even now, I am willing to forgive you. But only if you face the truth and see that I do not love you anymore. I have a mate, lover and High Lord."

Tamlin snarled. "He used you. And even now he doesn't care about you. Not really. Do you see the things that he does? For fun? He does not deserve you."

I laughed in his face. "And you do? You call this love?" 

I begged down the bond, screamed for Rhys to come. And my eyes went elsewhere for just a moment. That's when Tamlin's nostrils flared. He looked at me with such simmering rage in his eyes and before I could move he pushed me up against the wall. "You're coming home. Now." 

He prepared to winnow, just as I screamed. No, I could not go back there. Back to the place where I had suffocated and wasted away day by day. And Rhys....

He winnowed into the room right at that moment and blasted away Tamlin's shield around us with half a thought. His eyes were filled with rage, such rage. They met mine as he scanned me from head to toe before advancing on Tamlin. He ripped his hands off mine and cornered him against the opposite wall. "Get off of my mate. Get out of my room. Get out of my house. Get out of my town. Get out of my court. And never come back again." Cold fury laced every word. 

And to my surprise, Tamlin didn't object. He shot us both a glare before winnowing out. Rhys breathed and then put his face in his hands, rubbing it before his eyes locked onto me. 

I whimpered and collapsed onto the ground in a sobbing heap. 

(Rhys P.O.V.)

I finally looked to Feyre.

She was cowering in the corner, clutching her nightgown tighter around herself, every inch of her body shaking in genuine terror. Her legs gave out and she fell to the floor, tears escaping her eyes. And all that rage inside me, it just disappeared as I walked to my mate. I knelt down in front of her, gently taking her into my arms. Her arms instantly went around me, holding tightly as she cried into my chest. She managed to rasp out, "Why?" and wept harder. I just stroked her hair, shushing her as I looked to the window. I would gladly kill him. And if Feyre asked me to kill him, I'd go right now without a second thought. 

...... Ok so it's done. I just had to make the end really sad. Sorry if you hate sad bits in books but it had to happen. I'm really bad at endings. I don't know how authors do it!
