A New Sibling (Chapter 11)

Ariana's PROV

     I just couldn't think of Louis in this way right now. I mean, it wouldn't be right. Niall was my brother who I just meet to and falling for his best friend would not be right. I just have to focus on getting comfortable with Niall at the second. That's what we are here to do anyway, right?

Niall's PROV

     Ariana looked distracted as if she was deep in thought. I could not figure out what she was thinking about so hard. I felt as thought it couldn't be serious and I was going to take her mind off of, well,what ever it was on. I pulled her in the direction of the Apple store. I could tell she was a little overwhelmed when we entered because her eyes were flying everywhere. I first took her over to the laptops.

"So, which one do you like Ari? Pick anyone that you see and it's yours!" I said I could tell she didn't know what to say. "You don't have to say anything. This is my gift to you along with some other things too..." I said. Her eyes began to water at this and she looked up at me. I wiped her tears away and pulled her into a hug and stroked her hair somehow know it would calm her down. When she pulled away she looked at the laptops. She chose a lime green one. It was not the latest model, but it had a place to put a CD so she could put music on it. I flagged down an employee and he took it behind to register and reserved it for us for when we were done. Next we got and iPad air with a lime green case of course. Finally, I took her over to the iPhones. At first she looked confused the I picked up the green one and handed it to her.

     "I,I can't take this." She said holding it as if it would break with every touched. "Yes you can," I said. "It's so that you can communicate with me and the boys. I already put in all of our contacts including Mum and Greg's. Mum wanted you to have this. Come on, you can't refuse a present for her now can you?" I nudged her a little and she smile. We got a turquoise case for it and went up to the register to pay for everything.

     Once we left the store we sat on a bench and I showed her how to use the phone and all the perks of it. After a while she leaned her head on my shoulder and closed her eyes. It had been a long day and she never had done this much shopping in her life. After about five minutes she was asleep, so I picked her up bridal style along with the Apple bag and carried her to the car. Once we got there I saw the boys sitting in there and chatting. I opened the door and put her in the seat next to Louis as I climbed in and sat on the other side of her. I buckled her seat belt and almost immediately her hear rested on Louis' shoulder. He smiled down at her then looked back up at me.

     "How'd it go?" He asked me.

      "Honestly Lou, it was amazing. I still can't believe that she is MY little sister. I feel so lucky to have her. I can't wait to get to know her better." And with that, Paul, our security guard, drove us home.
