Prolouge

My name is Sage Ava Samuelson Holmes.

Some people like to argue and say I don't have the right to "tack the 'Holmes' on the end of my name." Well, it's not tackled on. It's my name. My black-and-white, legal name. I changed it of course...you'll learn how and why soon enough. But I had good reason. I like to think that after going what I've gone through, knowing the people I know and doing what I do, that I have no reason not to call myself a Holmes. And those closest to me, those who know me and my story, would never bat an eyelash at the fact that I've adopted a second surname; and such a well-known one at that.

My name is Sage Ava Samuelson Holmes, and this is an account of my adventures; of my time spent with Sherlock Holmes.
