Chaerin's POV

What should I do?

"Dr. Ahn, I've been calling you a few times. Seems like you can't hear me. Are you okay?" Nurse Lei said

"Yes. I am sorry. I was just thinking of something."

"Hmm? What is it? Are you sure you're okay?" she asked as she looked worried of me

"I am okay. It's just that I feel a bit tired. Don't worry."

"Okay. I'll just go down." Nurse Lei smiled at me

I bowed and continued walking, I entered my office and hurriedly closed the door. Am I too obvious? Is there anything I can stop myself from getting bothered about it?

I spent the whole day yesterday crying, and getting bothered about it. I wasn't crying because I want Felix back, I am crying because I betrayed Hyunjin and hurt him without him knowing. I can't even think straight or even move because of what happened.

It was a simple kiss, I kept repeating myself, but that kiss is something that should never happened. Whenever I see Hyunjin, I kept remembering the kiss that happened. If only I could turn back time, I would never talk to Felix that morning when we first met after a few years.

Tears started falling, I didn't even realize.

Will Hyunjin forgive me? I didn't do it though, I never wanted it to happen, but I am scared of Hyunjin. I don't want him to be hurt and hate me.

My phone suddenly opened. Another message from Felix.

From: Felix Can we please talk?

He kept asking me to talk with him but I decline all his calls and ignore his messages as much as I can. I don't want to have any connection with him. Not anymore.

"Chaerin, are you crying?" Seungmin asked as he entered the office

I hurriedly wiped my tears and tried my best to hide my face but I failed to do so. He is with Minho, and they were staring at me.

"Did you and Hyunjin had an argument?" Minho asked while his hands were inside the pocket of his lab gown

"We didn't. We're fine."

"Then are you crying for a movie? A series? A tv show?" Minho asked sarcastically

"Shut up. You're not helping." Seungmin said

"What? Who will she cry for other than Hyunjin? Felix?" Minho asked

And that stopped me.

Am I crying for him? And not Hyunjin?

"I'm glad you guys are here." head doctor said as soon as he saw us in the cafeteria

"Of course? It's lunch." Minho answered

"You silly doctor. Anyway, I am here to invite the three of you to a very important proposal. I am sure all of you will like the idea." head doctor

"What is it?" Seungmin asked

"You guys are going to work for someone, and will have an alternate schedule. It can change if you guys have important surgeries or schedules." head doctor added

"Spill it." Minho said

"But this is not the place to talk about that. The people you guys will meet were waiting in the conference room. Leave your food and let's go." head doctor ordered and he hurriedly left

The three of us looked at one another, and can't even do anything. We followed the head doctor to the conference room where the people who were waiting, were.

"These are my amazing and genius doctors." head doctor introduced us as soon as we entered

No way.

It's Queen Faye and King Jacob.

Felix's parents.

"Oh my gosh! Chaerin!" Queen Faye said and hurriedly hugged me tight

"Good afternoon." both Seungmin and Minho greeted in unison and bowed

"Long time no see. I have been wanting to meet you, but Felix kept stopping us due to some reasons. Anyway, you look so gorgeous!" Queen Faye excitedly said as she smiled widely

"You are hurting her." King Jacob told his wife

"Sorry. I was too excited to meet this beautiful lady." Queen Faye said and put her arm on my shoulder

"Good afternoon." I greeted and bowed

"How are you, Chaerin?" King Jacob asked

How am I?

Your son is bothering me again, I waited and healed myself for so many years after what you caused us. Now, I am getting confused of what is happening. And here you are asking how am I.

"I am fine, your majesty."

"It was nice meeting you." King Jacob smiled

"So, Minho and Seungmin, now that you saw the people you guys are working for... What's your decision?" head doctor asked

"Can I even say no to these wonderful people?" Minho said and bowed to both of them and smiled "It was nice seeing you both, your majesties."

"You haven't changed, Minho. You're still really good with your words." Queen Faye giggled

"Well, girls thinks that's my charm." Minho smiled

"Seungmin?" head doctor

"Of course, I am honored to have this offer." Seungmin said and smiled

"Oh! Seungmin." Queen Faye smiled at him

"How about you, Chaerin?" King Jacob asked me personally, which I didn't expect.

"Oh, please. I missed spending time with you. We have a lot of things to catch up!" Queen Faye said whole holding my arm like a kid begging

"Don't worry. Your schedule won't overlap with your schedule in the palace." head doctor said

They were all staring at me, waiting for my answer, and I feel like they were expecting me to say yes... Can I just say no?

"Okay. I'm fine with it."

Is this a good idea?
