Changbin's POV

"Hyisun, don't take it out."

He was trying to take out the paper from the folder I just organized. It was the contract of one of my artists, but here is Hyisun, he was playing with it like it's some ordinary paper.

"Put it down-"

"I don't want to." he sticked out his tongue and suddenly ran away then hid behind the maid "Dad!"

"I'm not going to run after you. Give that back to me."

"Catch me!" he said and kept making funny faces thinking I would get mad him, such a cutie.

"If you won't give that back, I'll tell your Mom."

He pouted and handed it to me, "Let's eat."

"What do you want to eat?"

"Pizza!" he suggested with a smile on his face

I carried him "Just pizza? Should we ask Mom if she'll let us eat pizza this late?"

He nodded.

"Okay. Let's do that."

We went upstairs where Heiran is. She is cleaning our room, that's why Hyisun is with me. But usually, he is with his Mom always. Heiran was so mad with me and Hyisun because we really did a mess in the room.

"Mommy!" Hyisun called and ran to his Mom

"Oh. Why? Are you sleepy?" she asked

"He wants pizza."

"Pizza? This late?" Heiran

Hyisun nodded and pouted.

"Okay. Don't eat too much." Heiran smiled at Hyisun and kissed his chubby cheeks "You can order." she told me

"Alright."

I carried Hyisun with me and went downstairs. I was about to order pizza when the doorbell rang and it made Hyisun so excited.

"Visitor!" Hyisun excitedly said and kept pulling me to open the door

He is always excited every time the doorbell rang because there is a visitor. Meaning, he has a playmate. His school friends usually come over here and play with him, their parents were leaving them here.

I opened the door only to find... Chaerin.

"What are you doing here? It's already late."

"I came from the medical program in Jeolla province." Chaerin answered

"Did Seungmin and Minho go with you?"

"Yeah. Where's Heiran?" she asked a she entered the house

I was about to close the door-

"Felix came with me." Chaerin

FELIX CAME WITH HER?!

"Are you kidding me? Felix came with you? Why? Where's Hyunjin?"

"Felix is the one who sponsored the medical program. We were with Seungmin and Minho earier but we dropped them off at the hotel, then we thought of going here since it's near." Chaerin said and sat on the sofa

"Where's-"

"Hi, Hyisun." Felix greeted my son

"Uncle!" Hyisun excitedly called and hugged Felix

"I'm jealous. Why are you only giving him a warm welcome?" Chaerin pouted

Hyisun giggled and ran to Chaerin, he also gave her a hug.

"Why are you so jealous of me?" Felix asked her

"I've been with Hyisun for a year, I attended his birthday once and I will be attending his birthday again." Chaerin

"Mommy!" Hyisun kept calling his Mom

Heiran came out of the room and was shocked to see Chaerin and Felix here "Why are you two here? Did others go with you two?"

"It's just us." Felix

"Yeah. This jerk wanted to stop by since he was driving for hours." Chaerin

"Jerk?!"

"He said it was fine to act like he is not a King in front of our circle of friends." Chaerin chuckled

"But I never told you to call me a jerk." Felix rolled his eyes

Heiran and I caught each other's gaze, I know she is thinking the same thing as me. Why are they so close like nothing happened in the past? Should we be worried of Hyunjin now? He might get hurt.

"How's the medical program?" Heiran asked as she came downstairs

"It was fun. There's a lot of kids. I was assigned to check them up and multiple kids were crying so much." Chaerin

"Yes, they are scared of you. That's why I went there and helped her. I carried every kid that is getting a checkup." Felix said

"They are not scared of me." Chaerin defended

"They are. You weren't smiling. Also, you were talking like you are in front of an adult." Felix laughed

Okay. Fuck. Why are they close now?

After an hour of talking with them, and watching the two act like some couple who were arguing over small things, they left to rest, because tomorrow is Hyisun's birthday.

Both Heiran and I were dumbfounded of what we have seen. Should we be concerned in what will happen in the future?

"Don't you think they are too close?"

"Hmm... I wanted to ask them about it but I am trying myself not to. I don't want any awkward conversation to start." Heiran

"Should we tell Hyunjin?"

"He should know, but that is not our job. It's up to Felix or Chaerin if they tell Hyunjin they went here tonight." Heiran

"Right. I feel like Hyunjin wouldn't care that much. He is married to Chaerin, there is nothing to worry about."

"Married or not, they can still fall out of love if one of their exes suddenly showed up and act like some best friends." Heiran

"Then what should we do? I don't want them to be hurt again."

"I don't know. Let's just observe first. I feel like Felix and Chaerin were just friends." Heiran

"I feel it's more than that."
