I was sitting in the college library and brainstorming over a newly assigned project, my headphones partially removed, eyes stuck at the ceiling, and my attention shifted on the music drifting through the windows.

The guitar's tone was warm and emotive, and a humming of man, maybe it's of him only who was strumming the chords, the melodious voice entering directly into the soul of the listener. And when he picks up the lyrics...

Just stay with me, I wanna feel you around Can I hold you for a little longer?I don't know when this moment will slip awayLet me keep all our memories forever.

I felt an inexplicable connection, I have heard these lyrics before, and the voice... yes it's familiar as well, and my heart pounded, my breath rate went high, the only words left off my lips, "no... it can't be him".

Locking it into my heart, and cherish All those sunsets we saw, and lived dusk besides seashoreIn your arms, the peace I found Not gonna get away from the moments we're together

I closed my eyes, resisted myself but my feet betrayed me and they just followed the voice and reached near the corridor, then went downstairs and probably the music was coming from the ground area. I can really hear the guitar melody floating through the air, only I know my hands were trembling, fingers crossed..

Ohh my Minamahal... I'm telling youOhh my Minamahal.. It's always you

And tears dropped off my eyes, "Minamahal... it's his song, Keifer's song", I took a deep breath, "he composed this for me", how can he.. Didn't he.. Didn't he leave me alone that day? He asked me not to give up but he himself chose to go away without a proper goodbye... And the news he lost his life?.
