A Proper Send Off
19:12, 23 June 2025"Turn off the alarm," you said sleepily. You hear a grunt from the half-naked man next to you. "Fine," you groaned. A blind hand fiddles on the nightstand for your phone to turn off the alarm but soon realize it's not your wake-up call. "Dean, your phone," you nudged him awake. You cannot help but to watch the muscles in his back move smoothly with the rest of him. The red marks on his skin make you giggle remembering you were the one who put them there. Dean, as if knowing what is making you grin mischievously, gives you a smirk over his shoulder before answering the call.
"Sam," Dean groaned. "Do you realize normal people like to sleep past seven?" Dean rolled onto his back motioning you to come next to him. With eyes closed, Dean lays there holding you close listening to his brother talk about the case at the hospital. Dean's teeth nip at your ear while running a hand down your chest to grab ahold of one of your breasts. Sam's voice becomes louder in the phone while Dean finds you more interesting at the moment. Annoyed with his baby brother trying to get his attention, Dean heavily sighs and relaxes against the pillow. Dean's welcoming touch comes to a stop.
"Whoa, whoa, whoa....you are not going alone. I'll have Alyssa come stay with (Y/N)," the tone in Dean's voice shifts, grabbing your attention. You push yourself straight up.
Your hair falls in your face as you tilt your head at Dean. "Wait, what about Alyssa coming to stay with me?" Your heart begins to beat fast against your chest wondering what is going on. Dean mouths "it's okay" but you shake your head and climb out of bed. You slip your shirt on from last night over your head before walking towards the bathroom.
It isn't long before stumbling, heavy footsteps make their way outside the bathroom door. Instead of barging in, Dean waits for you to give him the okay.
"Sweetheart, can I come in?" Dean asked through the door. You swing it open with a hard glare. "Now look, before you get all upset, let me explain what's going on." He holds up his hands, narrowing his eyes in a way he's done before with you when it came to something you weren't going to be able to argue for yourself. He already made the decision.
Something you do actually like—not having to worry about certain things when the two of you are around one another. That's Dean though. He always takes care of everyone and everything so no one has to worry.
"Jody has it set up at the hospital tonight for Sam and I to stake out the morgue. Apparently, three patients died last night, early morning sometime. Jody is going to see about having the funeral homes hold off on picking up the bodies until tomorrow," Dean explained. You don't respond, only glance away at yourself in the mirror before shifting your gaze back to him.
"Look," he heavily exhaled, running a hand through his hair. "I will feel better if Alyssa is here with you. I cannot be distracted knowing you are alone here while I'm trying to get the thing chomping on dead bodies, okay?"
You nod, your eyes shifting to the side mulling over what Dean said. You don't want a babysitter but also understand his reasoning behind Alyssa staying with you. Dean watches you carefully.
"What is it?"
His question sends your eyes flickering up at him. You shake your head. "I just want this to be over. I need you and Sam to catch whatever it is so I can feel a little safer at work," you responded truthfully. Puffing out a short breath of air, you wrap your arms around yourself. "The whole thing with Ryan too, ya know? How will he act when I go back to work has me on edge," You avoid his concerned stare, taking a step back so he can come inside the bathroom.
"I'll tell you one thing for sure, sweetheart," Dean darkly mumbled, closing the door behind him. "If he tries anything stupid, I will go after his ass," he stated in a sharp tone. "I'm already wanting to go pay him a visit for how he treated you last night." You only nod, sucking in your bottom lip while trying to avoid thoughts of Dean getting revenge. You just want everything to be over with and move on.
Dean stares at you for a minute while you slip off your shirt. You avoid eye contact while leaning into the shower to turn on the hot water as if you are alone. Dean stripping off his boxers is seen from the corner of your eye leads to silly grin spreading across your kiss swollen lips.
"I take it you're joining?" You asked cheekily. Dean's strong grip yanks you back against him, his hardened cock instantly encourages you to grind your ass against it.
"Thought you needed a thorough clean up after last night. From head to toe," Dean runs his hand along your curves and stops at your leg. "A nice distraction from what I just dropped on you," he continues while his hand slides over to between your thighs that voluntarily spread for him. "Look at that, opening up for Daddy like a good girl," Dean darkly murmured in your ear. You only whimper in response feeling his fingers sink into your moist heat.
Your knees buckle but Dean's strong arm keeps you held against him. A low, cocky chuckle leaves his mouth before he sucks greedily on the curve of your neck. It isn't long before he has you held up against the wet tile wall as he gives you the fast forward version of last night. A fire in your lower abdomen grows the closer you come to reaching that peak of pleasure. Your walls clamp down on his cock, sending orgasmic shockwaves coursing through your body. With one final thrust and deep groan, Dean drew in a short breath before collapsing his weight against you. You drop your head into his neck with your arms still draped around him.
"(Y/N)?" Dean's voice is low, mixed in with the warm water hitting against the wet tile. You lift your glossy gaze, tilting your head while drinking in the delicious sight of him. "Maybe today... maybe we can have a day just hanging out together?" Dean asked, glancing away as he carefully pulls out of you and lowers your feet to the slippery floor. "Be careful, sweetheart." He steadies you with his loving hands. A simple act that gives you butterflies.
You brace yourself against his chest. "You mean, like normal couples?" Shaking your head, you turn around to grab the body wash on the corner floating shelf to begin washing up without another distraction. Not that you mind though.
Dean huffed out a laugh, "I don't think there's anything normal about our lives."
With a nod, you turn back to face him and begin cleaning up for the day Dean requested. Such a simply request from the man who lives most of his days fueled by adrenaline. Thoughts on his comment has a permanent smile remain on your face. It didn't matter what Dean wanted to do, all you care about it is as long as you do it together.
**********************************************Later...
"Dean, I already have a babysitter, I'm pretty sure you triple checking the locks and all that haven't changed since you last did an hour ago. I will be fine," you sighed, taking in the sight of the handsome man double checking the backdoor locks. He grunts, never looking over his shoulder as he stealthy moves into the kitchen checking the window above the sink. "Really? I do not believe Ryan or anyone bigger than a hundred pounds will fit through that small window."
Dean lowers his hands from checking the window. He grips ahold of the sink dropping his head. Your bare feet softly paddle their way over towards him. The gentle touch of your hand on his shoulder has him turn around. Dean takes both of your hands within his calloused ones interlacing your fingers together.
"I know it seems like overkill, but I'm not taking any chances with me not here to keep you safe," Dean kissed your lips gently, pulling back with a cocky grin. "Besides, I thought you liked watching me work," Dean wiggled his brows earning a girlish giggle from you in return.
"Well, I do like watching you work," you lowered your voice as you brush your lips across his. "Especially watching you work so hard," pressing yourself against his body, you leave kisses along his chin up towards his ear. You gently rub your cheek against the stubble on his face remembering how it felt last night on your thighs and other areas of your body.
"Babygirl, behave. Sam will be pulling up soon," a deep growl rumbles from his chest as Dean slides his hands into the back pockets of your jeans. You whimper, pulling back giving him a dramatic pout. "Now, come on," Dean sighed. "You know you make me weak, right?" He chuckled, pressing a kiss to your forehead. Dean pulls back to take you in, enjoying the time you two have before he has to go save the world, again.
"What is it?" You asked quietly. Dean shakes his head while stroking your cheek with his thumb. "Dean, I see it. What is it?" He catches the change in tone and your eyes widening staring back at him.
"Just glad I'm here is all. Before I have to go kill this damn thing. That's all, sweetheart. I have someone to come back to," Dean murmured, his shoulders noticeably dropping as the corner of his mouth lifted up.
You push up on your tiptoes kissing him slow and full of love. His hands settle on your hips bringing you closer to him. Breaking the kiss, your eyes flicker up towards the ones boring into you. Years of pent up feelings and regret come flooding your mind. It's not that these emotions are new or haven't been brought to light.
"Okay," Dean lightly chuckled. "Your turn, sweetheart. What's going on up there in that pretty little mind of yours?" Dean playfully taps your forehead.
You roll your eyes. "Just the same as you. Just happy we are here...together," you wrap your arms tighter around his strong, muscular body wondering if you have enough time for one more round of sex—for good luck of course—but then a car pulling into the drive extinguishes that thought.
As you spin around, you head for the door when a knock comes from the other side. Expecting Sam to walk through the door, instead Alyssa lets herself inside. You gasp at the person following behind her, especially noticing a red mark on that person's upper neck. You step back into Dean's chest who suddenly appears behind you.
"Oh, so this is new," you commented, grinning like the Cheshire Cat at Sam strolling in behind Alyssa who acts as if it's no big deal that they came together.
Dean throws his arms around the front of you. Your hands rest on his embrace while leaning back into him. The rumble from his chest as he tries to muster a laugh sends a warm smile over your lips.
Alyssa shrugs and turns around to take the small duffle bag from Sam. She kisses his cheek. He smiles back at her and ignores the audience watching him and your friend.
"Is it just me or does your girl here glowin' ? You know, that sex glow...," Dean hinted as he smirked at his baby brother. "That same one you get after I've rocked your world," Dean murmured next to your ear never taking his eyes off the two who just walked in.
"Oh, definitely," you answered without bothering lowering your voice. Alyssa rolls her eyes but then shoots you a knowing grin as she sashays past you and Dean.
"I had to send him off properly," Alyssa shrugged as she headed for the kitchen. She stops and spins around giving Sam a wink before she opens the fridge. You notice the instant flush that appears on his cheeks from her flirtatious gesture.
"That's adorable," Dean chuckled. You gently nudge your elbow into his chest. "Ow!"
"Be nice," you murmured.
"It's not like they're going to war, Alyssa. I hope you didn't wear him out too much for his own sake," you responded with a smile, dropping your hands from Dean to head over to your friend.
The brothers step outside while you and Alyssa gush quietly about Alyssa's impromptu sleepover with Sam. The two of you giggle like schoolgirls in the kitchen. Next thing you know, Sam and Dean come back inside the house with solemn expressions. Dean and Sam share a glance before Sam joins Alyssa in the kitchen. In passing, Sam places a hand out and pulls you in for a hug. Something in the moment has your stomach form knots. Deja vu from so long when you first met the brothers and were rescued play in your mind. Just like back then, Sam was the first one to hug you goodbye then Dean in his own private moment with you.
Dean opens the front door and leads you outside in the night air. You rock back on your heels and slide your hands into the pockets on the back of the jeans.
"So, this feels oddly familiar," you huffed out a nervous laugh, glancing around everywhere but at Dean.
Dean doesn't say anything except smiles down at you giving you a sense of warmth and comfort.
"Okay, I need you to say something," you choked out, blinking your eyes rapidly feeling them trying to fill up with the waterworks the moment you lock eyes with Dean. "I can't believe I'm—,"
"It's okay, sweetheart. Actually," Dean expressed grinning, "I find it...endearing," he pushes back your hair and tucks it behind your ear. You stare back at him with a glossy gaze. "Just know this is nothing but a milk run for me and Sam. We will be back here hopefully by sunrise, maybe a little after depending on things."
You let out a sigh. Taking a step forward, you meet his waiting lips with a goodbye kiss. Your heart begins to pick up pace as the two of you slowly pull away from one another. Dean wraps his arms around you and holds you tight until Sam steps out of your house with Alyssa waiting in the doorway.
You and Alyssa watch the boys drive off until the taillights of Baby are gone from your sight. You let out a long exhale, feeling Alyssa loop her arm around yours to bring you back inside the safety of your home. She leads you to the sofa and sits with you quietly until she finally speaks on the situation.
"I'm still trying to wrap my head around all this... supernatural stuff. How about you give me a short class on all of this?" Alyssa asked, leaning back into the corner of the sofa.
You lift your legs up and tuck them beneath you as you lean on the opposite arm of the couch. "Sam didn't explain everything?" You raised a brow.
Alyssa shrugged. "Yeah, but I ended up interrupting him because hearing about him fighting monsters and just... ay papi," Alyssa fans herself dramatically. You toss you head back in laughter. "Let's just say I climbed that man like a tree," she smirked.
"Well," you smiled and glanced towards the kitchen. "If you want to know more, then I suggest a bottle of wine because you might need it."
The wine isn't just for your friend, but also for your own nerves while you wait for Sam and Dean to return safely. Besides, it should be an easy night for everyone all around.
Right?
