Chapter Seventeen – Awkward Times

I still can’t understand why Justin left all suddenly, I mean it was weird. We all were sitting at Chaz’s living room and trying to contact Justin for past 30 minutes. Ryan and Stella had gone out to find out Justin and there was only me, Ashley and Chaz left.

“Man, why isn’t he picking up his call?” Chaz groaned while throwing his hands in frustration.  “Dammit!” Ashley cussed out of irritation.

In the past 30 minutes, we had called Pattie to ask whether Justin was with her or not and unfortunately he wasn’t with her.

My phone rang and Chaz and Ashley looked at me alarmed. I quickly picked up the call and it was Stella.

“Any news?” I asked with hope. I hope they found him. “No! Fuck we have looked everywhere but there is no sign of him.” Stella said in frustration. I frowned with this disappointing news and ended the call.

“No sign of him.” I informed Ashley and Chaz. They went back to their original stage and frowned.

“Man, where could he possibly go?” Chaz asked. Exactly, where could he go? Wait a minute….

Did he go over there? Shit! Yes he could possibly be there. Why didn’t I think about this earlier? I hope he is over there. Thank god, Justin, I remember our old times and was your best friend.

“I know where he can be.” I announced which made Ashley and Chaz look at me with a sudden twinkle in their eyes.

“Where?” Both of them questioned me in unison and had a smile plastered on their faces.

“Can’t tell. But I can guarantee you that he is over there.” I said and quickly got up and made my way towards the door.

“C’mon Eden.” Chaz looked at me. “I promise he is over there. I’ll text you guys if I find me. Don’t worry. Tell Stella and Ryan to stop searching because I know where he could be.” I said.

Grabbing phone and sliding it my jeans pocket, I made my towards the door. “Be safe and please let us know if you find him.” Chaz said. “Sure thing.” I told and exited.

I know where exactly he is. This is the only place where he could possibly go depending on the emotions he was experiencing at this moment of time. If I were him, I would also choose that place to make up mind.

Our Tree House. Our place. Our only secret hanging out place.

By this time, people were looking at me like I was a psycho because I was running like an idiot. I didn’t look at them and ran even faster.

It was 7:30PM by now and the sky was dark. The stars were shining and the moon looked so beautiful. The moon and the stars were actually complementing the beauty of the sky.

I had finally reached the place. I went inside a little further and saw someone’s silhouette. Now I’m 99.99% sure that it was Justin.

Going a little bit more inside, I saw it was him. It was Justin.

I quickly text Chaz to inform him that I was able to find Justin and told him not to worry anymore. Hitting the send button, I sent the text message.

“Justin?” I called out, my voice a little quiet. He didn’t seem to listen at first, so I tried once again.

“Justin?” I called out, this time louder than my earlier attempt.

He turned around to face me and I could see a different kind of emotion his face. “Eden, what are you doeng here?” He asked and turned around once again and looked up in the sky.

 "Justin why did you go away?" I asked while sitting beside him and ignoring his previous question.. He remained silent and just looked at the sky."Sometimes it’s better to escape the reality and take a rest for a while.” He said, still not looking at me and we both sat there admiring the sky above us.

“How did you find me?” Justin asked while looking towards me. Is he seriously asking me this question? Really Bieber? Really?

I raised my eyebrow and he chuckled lightly. “Yeah, I get it.” He said.

It’s weird how we are acting like nothing happened. In fact a lot had happen. We were acting like nothing had happened between us at Chaz’s house which took place like hours ago.

It’s very weird how I should be angry at him right now but I am not. At this moment I’m not angry at him and I really don’t know why.

We were both looking at each other. No words were spoken. Just us staring right into each other. Our eyes were looking at each other. Sometimes, talking isn’t the only way you have a conversation with someone. It felt like me and Justin were talking. Just by looking into each other’s eyes we told a lot.

By now I had realized that he was slowly leaning in. As a matter of fact, I did love him but I wasn’t going to give in easily. This isn’t the right thing to do right now. This is wrong.

I broke my gaze and just turned the other side to make it less awkward for myself and I could feel my cheeks turn hot and I was blushing. Justin coughed awkwardly.

“Uh I’m sorry about that.” Justin said looking down. I noticed that even his cheeks had turned into deep scarlet. “Yeah me too.” I said.

Gosh this was so awkward.

This was just absolutely awkward and highly weird. I couldn’t believe. Me and Justin were just about to kiss.

Wow!

Never in a million years, I had thought even a day like this would arrive.

“I think we should head back home. Everyone is literally worried.” I said while trying to brush off that awkward moment which had taken place a few minutes ago.

“Yeah.. You’re right. Let’s go.” Justin said while agreeing with me.

I still needed my answers and I wasn’t going to leave it easily. These answers would help me to decide what I had to do further.

I hadn’t heard the full story. I needed the answers.

We got up and made our way to Justin’s house. Pattie must be so worried.

Even though I had informed them, they would still be worried sick.

Checking my phone, I saw that Chaz had replied me with an ‘okay’ and there were 10 missed calls from mom. Oh fuck!

I quickly type a message to mom,

To: Mom

Mom, I’m okay. Don’t worry. I will be there in 20.

I quickly sent the message and slid my phone in the front pocket of my jeans. Justin and me were walking casually where he had put his hands in his pockets and I had crossed my arms.

I’m going to ask Justin tomorrow. It’s seriously has been an eventful day if I may say so.

First of all, my apologies for taking a hell lot of time to update. I’m sincerely so sorry about it. My internet has had some very serious issues so I couldn’t update. I hope this doesn’t take place again. So sorry guys! From now on, the updates will be proper. Let’s hope. Lol jk.

Secondly, some awkward moments took place in this chapter lol.

Thirdly, this story is soon coming to an end. On the bright side, there maybe a prequel or  maybe an one shot. The key word is: maybe.
